Belhurst Castle

Belhurst Castle is a historic wedding venue on the shores of Seneca Lake in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. The castle serves couples from the Geneva, Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse regions as well as couples that live elsewhere in the U.S. or internationally. Founded in 1885, the century-old castle is a combination of three hotels, two restaurants, a winery, and a spa and salon for all of your wedding needs. As the owners of Belhurst Castle don't believe that guests should have to pay to use the space, the castle doesn't have a venue or site fee. This historic building has witnessed many milestone moments, and your wedding could be the next one.

Facilities and Capacity

The venue offers two locations for wedding events. The Castle Ballroom boasts cathedral ceilings, elegant chandeliers, and cascading views of Lake Seneca. With a capacity to host up to 250 guests for a luxurious evening, couples can celebrate their nuptials in the presence of those closest to them. The other space, the Meritage Ballroom is an elegant room which features high ceilings, flowing drapery, and floor-to-ceiling windows which look out over beautiful views of the castle’s turret. Accommodating up to 160 guests, this room also includes its own private patio and lawn for outdoor events. Belhurst offers three distinct hotel accommodations and couples will have the option to books rooms in either the Chambers in the Castle, the Vinifera Inn, or the White Springs Manor.

Whether you want to simply host your wedding ceremony and reception on the premises or get ready from start to finish, Belhurst Castle offers a range of services to ensure a stress-free stay. The on-site accommodations ensure that any out-of-town guests are catered to for the night. The Isabella Spa and Salon is open to couples for any hair and makeup needs. On-site full-service event planning will be available to guide to-be-weds through the process and help organize every detail of the special celebration. To ensure that couples can focus solely on their special event, all barware, china, flatware, and glassware are provided by the venue.

Cuisine

Guests can enjoy in-house catering and bar services with this venue. Their serving styles include plated, buffet, and/or passed hors-d'oeuvres, with menus designed to suit the specific tastes of each couple. Experts in catering, the team has ample experience serving gourmet-style dishes to please a plethora of palates at your wedding-day meal.
