Gosh.. where do I even start. I just had the absolute pleasure of working with the BEST DJ business I could’ve EVER asked for: Encore Events, using them at my wedding! From day #1: emailing them, doing the virtual open house to see the each DJ work their magic, emailing them who I wanted as my DJ, to the online “portfolio”, phone calls checking in, zoom meetings, all the way to the actual wedding day.. has just been an incredible journey & made my wedding day one to remember! Not only is that just SOME of the things I wanted to highlight.. but throughout my wedding they were making sure my husband and I had food, drinks, pulled it out chairs for us to sit, kept checking in making sure everything’s good, or if we needed anything etc. they absolutely excelled my expectations, and I can’t say enough about how phenomenal they did. Now I want to highlight who I used.. I wanted to mention Encore as a whole as they have 10+ DJ’s and are an amazing business; but HUGE shout out to Rich Cranston and Andre Powell, you guys killed it and I couldn’t stop saying how much I’ve appreciated you both and everything you’ve done for us, thank you so much and so honored to have you both at our wedding! My venue didn’t hesitate..right from the very start they said “hands down going to be on our recommendations list”. Every single person at the wedding noticed how flawless, organized, personable, caring, fun and professional Encore was.. hands down my favorite vendor, and will 100% be recommending to everyone. Fantastic DJ!!

My husband and I had a fantastic experience with our DJ Rich Post. Rich did a great job capturing what we wanted for our wedding. He also surprised us with a special slow dance song with our vows dubbed on top - we both cried! He got the party started and kept it going the entire night. Several friends asked where we found him! Overall fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Rich and Encore to anyone getting married. Encore's system was really seamless. They are wedding professionals and they have the whole thing completely figured out. They have you listen to a bunch of DJs before you decide who you want to pick, and then they have you meet with that DJ several times before your wedding. they help you to plan out your entire wedding timeline, and then they keep that moving along the entire night. I felt so relaxed on the night of our wedding because I knew that the DJ was keeping the whole event moving along exactly as planned. I know that this DJ is a bit pricey compared to others in the Rochester area, but it was absolutely worth it.

Encore events was amazing !

If you are looking into great and reliable entertainment for your wedding then definitely consider Encore events. We had Stephanie Hyde as our DJ and she was absolutely amazing! I can’t tell you not only how much my husband and I enjoyed our wedding, but how many of our guests took the time to say that our event was one of the best that they’ve ever been to! Having music and dancing was such an important part for me and I couldn’t have been happier with my decision to go with Encore. I also loved that they offer uplighting and a digital Photo Booth, which we also had! Definitely take advantage of their events that they host to learn more about them and see what they have available (You sometimes get deals or discounts too at these!!)- look into them sooner rather than later (in relation to the timing of your event) to try to get the best deals ☺️

Jordan brought the energy!

The first thing that drew us to Encore Events is their “open house” event where they invite potential clients to a video call so we could hear snippets of work from a variety of their DJs. Since we were planning our Western NY wedding from CA, this was wildly helpful.

From that event, we knew Jordan was the girl for us! Her energy was infectious, even on Zoom and her mixes were the perfect blend of old school and new style music - we couldn’t help but dance around our living room when her promo came on.

The platform Encore Events shared for tracking the music and timeline for the day was intuitive, easy to use and kept everything really organized. On the day of the wedding, Jordan and team brought the energy - there wasn’t a single guest who didn’t get on the dance floor at some point of the night. She exceeded all expectations and we’re so grateful for her and the Encore Events team!

Book Them! You Wont Regret It! Worth EVERY penny!

We didn’t hire a videographer for our wedding (which I still actually regret-so you should def hire one) but Encorce Events surprised us with turning the vows we wrote for each other into a slow dance!!!! They generously gave us a copy and then when I asked them if they happened to record our whole ceremony, they said yes and sent along that audio as well!!! Our ceremony was hilarious and I feel so lucky that they captured the audio, and the true emotion of those 15 minutes. That audio is my FAVORITE GIFT that I received and Encore went above and beyond to 1. Even think of doing that! and 2. Gifting it to us afterwards. Truly touching and an incredible way to go above and beyond for a customer. I also really appreciated their guidance as we were selecting songs for the party. Two things stood out…1. There were songs where I said I HAD to be on the dance floor for…But as the bride I kept getting pulled away. I heard one of my songs being played as I was leaving the dance floor but the DJ, adjusted on the fly and brought it back for me later in the night. I was SO THANKFUL. And the last thing i loved, Rich actually just said in passing as we were doing music selection. But he said if I only wanted the chorus of certain songs then he could make that work too. I was surprised at how many songs I really only knew the chorus too and I felt like I got to hear so many songs and all of my favorite parts to them!! Loved the music platform that they used to create all of those song selections too! I’m SO GLAD that we used them as our vendor. I originally just wanted my brother to “dj” with a playlist, and I’m so glad we got over that idea, spent the money and hired Encore. Our DJ, Rich Post, read the room and gave us everything we wanted! He mixed tracks together perfectly and we had the most amazing wedding! I had no idea that dj-ing music was such an art. Rich Post and Encore are worth every penny and they helped give us the most fun dance floor and perfect wedding celebration! So thankful for them as professionals and for going above and beyond for us.

Wedding reception

Encore was great to work with. Communication and transparency were top notch. Allowed to pay in installments which made budgeting easier. Mikey V was our Dj and he was very professional and fun. Kept our guests dancing all night. Would highly recommend this vendor.

Mickey is THE BEST!

Mickey was great during our interactions before our wedding and crushed it the day of! He read the vibe perfectly and throughout the night my husband and I received so many compliments on how amazing he was from our friends and older relatives who actually got out on the dance floor! Can't count the number of times we've heard since our wedding that Mickey was "the best DJ" people have ever experienced at a wedding. We couldn't recommend him more!!

Shoutout to Encore and DJ Savy!

Encore Events was absolutely incredible to work with for our wedding. Our DJ Savannah went above and beyond from start to finish. She helped us navigate the planning portal, organize the flow of our day, helped us get a feel for the songs and vibes we wanted, and kept our entire day running smoothly. Savannah helped to make sure everything was going according to schedule and kept the energy high all night long.

Savannah didn’t just handle the music - she truly cared about our experience. She even went out of her way to serve dinner to my wife and me so we didn't have to get up and wait. A really fun moment was at the end of the night when Savannah invited us behind the booth for the final song and let us be the DJ's.

We can’t recommend Encore Events and DJ Savannah enough. They helped make our wedding day everything we hoped it would be and more!

Exceptional Wedding DJ and videography

The Encore team was fantastic! We hired Encore to serve as DJ both nights of our 2 day wedding, along with videography for both days. They were easy to work with and did an incredible job with it all! From the start the entire team was easy to communicate with and helped coach us through the entire process. Our first day was an Indian Sangeet that included a Baraat and their team went above and beyond to use a mobile DJ station to get the party started. They worked with us to include music spanning multiple cultures and Mikey and Andre were superb. On our second day it was a more traditional American ceremony and Mikey was back with Jordan. Despite a night of partying the day prior, they kept the energy high and everyone on the dance floor all night! Many of our guests have told us since how much fun our DJ crew was! Jordan also helped us to set up photo booths for both days which was a lot of fun for us and our guests. We would highly recommend Encore and hope to party with them again in the future! For the videography the team offered a lot of flexibility on options, and captured our weekend alongside our photographer seamlessly.

Kendrick from Encore was an amazing DJ! Above and beyond!

Kevin and I just got married on 10/18/2025 and Kendrick was our DJ from Encore Events. Kendrick was an absolute delight to work with! He DJ'd for our friends' wedding back in 2018 and his uplifting vibe got the crowd going at both events! Set up was seamless and the audio was super clear during the ceremony, cocktail hour, entrances, speeches, and ending with dancing. Everyone got out on the dance floor to tear it up - even my four year old nephew was attempting to breakdance

Great Service

Working with Encore Events was so easy. Early in our planning phase, we enjoyed the DJ showcase sessions so we could pick a DJ that best fit our style. Throughout the process, Jordyn was timely with communicating deadlines, add on options and how to navigate the planning website. The planning website was very easy to use and really helped us establish our timeline early in the process. It was helpful to see the timeline laid out and be able to move things arounds to our liking. We also purchased uplighting and photobooth packages from Encore. The uplighting is an absolute must to elevate any venue's space and they changed the colors throughout the night as we transitioned through our timeline (soft colors for cocktail hour/dinner and bright colors for dancing). We opted for the self-service photo booth that allowed guests to text themselves the photos. A week after the wedding we also got access to the photobooth library and absolutely love being able to see how much fun our guests had with it!
Austen was great to work with for our event. We had one meeting with him prior to the wedding and he was able to execute our vision for the dance floor perfectly. On the day of the wedding, I noticed he had arrived earlier to set up than he had mentioned just to be prepared with training a new employee. His style is totally not what you think of when you envision a traditional wedding DJ and he absolutely lit up the dance floor right from the start. Starting from cocktail hour, he was able to read the crowd to come up with the perfect playlist that made everyone stop at one point to acknowledge it was on point.

Book Encore Events for your wedding or upcoming event! I promise that you will not be disappointed!!

My husband, Nathan and I chose Encore Events as our DJ/Entertainment vendor for our June 2025 wedding. My sister in law, Gina, booked them for their wedding in May of 2024 and without hesitation we knew that we would also be using Encore Events for ours, as the company goes above and beyond and truly offers much more than just the DJ/Entertainment services they provide. We cannot say enough good things about the company as a whole but specifically the DJ that we chose, Jordan and her husband/assistant Ted. They worked closely with us to plan every last detail in the months leading up to our wedding and made sure all our needs were met. They brought our vision to life and were so helpful throughout the entire process. I had so many compliments on how everything turned out but guests specifically mentioned how amazing our DJ was and how much they loved the lighting and music. We added some extras including cold sparklers, and a photo booth that were well worth it and turned out to be such a hit for all of our guests. We would highly recommend booking Encore Events for your wedding or any upcoming event, especially Jordan (and Ted) because they are THE best and will definitely exceed all expectations you have for a DJ!!

Best DJ Ever

We worked with Jack and from start to finish he was amazing. He accommodated all of our requests and did so in a timely fashion. He played everything we wanted to hear and he mixed in other songs that he felt would work well, and they did. I still have friends telling me to this day how good his transitions were, and overall his set. Could not recommend Jack more!

The Best DJ Service Around!!

Picking Encore was easily the best decision for my wedding. From the day I booked throughout my wedding night, Rich and his team were more than involved and made sure everything was perfect. They were more hands on than I could’ve ever imagined during the planning process and even helped me plan the timeline for the day of. They really helped ease the stress of planning. I told Rich and his team exactly what we had envisioned and they exceeded every expectation. They came up to us multiple times throughout the night to make sure they were doing everything right and they absolutely were! We love Mickey!

My wife and I couldn’t be any happier with choosing Encore Events for our wedding, particularly our DJ Mickey Hamilton.

Being able to watch the open houses helped us be able to pick from a wide variety of DJs, and my wife and I went with who we thought was the best at mixing songs (no offense to the other DJs), which was Mickey Hamilton. Through out the whole planning process, Mickey helped us plan and choose songs for our wedding, gave us advice and recommendation on how to use the online portal which you interact with in preparation for your wedding, and was always quick in response to any question we had. The planning process was personally so much fun for me to pick out the music I wanted at our wedding. We met a few times on zoom before the wedding as well, and had everything ready for our wedding day. All this helped me on my wedding day, as I didn’t have to stress or worry about if something wasn’t right or if the DJ was prepared or not. I couldn’t stress enough the professionalism at Encore Events. As for the performance, it was 10/10. All my friends and family had a wonderful time and even asked me if they could get the setlist of the music. This led me to asking Mickey if he could do this for me, and he made me a list of all the songs he played, going beyond what he had to do for us. I am so happy with our choice, choosing Mickey as our DJ. My dad told me that having the the right DJ can either make or break a wedding, and we are so happy we went with Encore Event because we wouldn’t of wanted any other DJ on our special day. I don’t think it could of gone any better.

Amazing experience!

We are so incredibly grateful to Encore Events for making our wedding unforgettable! From the start, Rich reached out to personally get a feel for what style and vision we had, to John our amazing DJ, to the uplighting, everything was absolutely perfect. The music kept everyone of all ages on the dance floor all night- our guests are still talking about how much fun they had!

What really stood out was how personalized the experience was. The team took the time to understand our vision and style, with the multiple meetings beforehand and reminding us they were there for any questions we had. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail reflected us as a couple. We wanted country music, but upbeat and engaging and they did just that. John knew exactly how to read the room and keep the energy high.

Trust me, you want to use this company!

I cannot recommend this company highly enough! They made planning our wedding from 1600 miles away so easy. They had great suggestions, their client portal is incredible and makes it so easy to make sure you've got the music you want, and they were very detail oriented, which I appreciated, especially our DJ Mikey V and Jordan! Best company to work with!

Hands down the best company to work with! The customer service from the beginning to end really says a lot about company values and you can just tell Encore strives with that. I went to 3 previous weddings where John was the DJ, and all were great so when it was my time I knew we had to have him be our DJ, and he exceeded all my expectations for the night! Our dance floor had people dancing from dinner until the very end, everyone’s legs were hurting the following day from dancing so much! My husband who isn’t even a dancer was on the dance floor and maybe even a few tables all night! Make wedding planning that much easier and choose Encore!

Hiring Jordan was the best decision!

We booked Jordan for our wedding and she was an absolutely amazing person to work with! We had a few meetings leading up to the wedding and she helped us with our schedule. We had amazing vendors but she was easily the most helpful and responsive vendor we had! Her energy day of was amazing and contagious! We received so many compliments about our DJ from various people. Truly the best decision we made for our wedding!

DJ Mickey is the man

When we were looking for a wedding DJ, a friend of mine told me I’d be stupid to hire anyone but Encore. After working with them, I see exactly what she meant. Every step of the process was smooth and easy. The Encore staff were extremely responsive to inquiries and questions, their portal worked well and was a great planning tool, their virtual open house was a great way to hear from different DJs and zero in on the vibe we wanted. We eventually selected DJ Mickey, and he knocked it out of the park.

My husband simply does not dance at weddings. The vibe is always off, the dance floor is always weirdly empty, and the flow is usually weird. But as soon as DJ Mickey kicked off the party on our wedding day, we just didn’t want to stop dancing. His song progression, his read of the room, and his energy was so amazing, and our dance floor was packed the entire night. He did a great job balancing the playlist so guests of all generations could connect with the music, and he even incorporated some of my husband’s punk favorites. He was just the best. While Encore is on the expensive side for a DJ, it was one of the best investments we made for our wedding because DJ Mickey just made the night so fun. Highly, highly recommend.

Look no further!

Planning with Encore was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. Rich and his entire team are the most professional, organized and fun group of people to work with. They were extremely helpful, attentive and creative. My husband and I loved having meetings with Rich to discuss our wedding day and putting our dreams into real life. Come the day of, Encore arrived early and were more than prepared. The staff was even asking if we needed anything well before the ceremony and while we were taking pictures. Rich is a long time friend and treated us like royalty! My husband and I remember the small details like him pulling out our chairs to sit down, laying out our napkins, getting us drinks from the bar, etc. on top of keeping the day on schedule and keeping our guests entertained. We did not leave the dance floor… maybe once for a restroom break! Our family and friends continue to talk about our wedding almost a month later and always mention how awesome our DJ was! We agree! Wonderful to work with

Encore Events is a unique business with many DJs with different styles to choose from, based on what you’re looking for on your wedding day. The “viewing parties” were a cool option allowing you to hear each DJ and get an idea of their services. They also have add-on services like videography and lighting (though we didn’t make use of these for our event). The planning portal was a convenient way to keep track of all the details as well as song selections (must play, do not play, etc). It also contained a tool to search for artists and songs for the reception and ceremony by, for example, decade or popularity, which was very helpful. We chose Stephanie Hyde as our DJ, and she was a total pleasure to work with - she’s a very fun person to be around and she did amazing with the song selections and ensuring special requests were done at the right moments. The ceremony, intros, dances, and reception music sounded great and the run-of-show was smooth and flawless. Would highly recommend!

If you are looking to work with the best DJ's in Rochester for your wedding day - look no further! Having Encore & DJ Mickey Hamilton on our wedding day was by far one of the best decisions we made. They made the entire process so easy & seamless from start to finish. Encore has their own portal where you can lay out your timeline, choose all of your music that you want played the day of, and plan out every last detail when it comes to music on your wedding day - it was so user friendly and made the entire process stress free. They are also a one-stop shop, offering other services besides DJ's - we used them for their photo booth services as well, and that process was also so easy! I did not have to worry about coordinating any times or set up with our venue, they did all of that! They were available for any & all questions that I had along the way, and Mickey made sure to meet with us a few weeks before our wedding day to meet us, get our vibe with what kind of music we wanted, and made sure no detail was forgotten. Saying that Mickey was incredible is an absolute understatement - we STILL have guests talking about how amazing he was and how awesome his music was! The dance floor was packed all night, he is so incredibly talented & made our wedding day exactly as we dreamed it would be! I could not recommend Encore & DJ Mickey enough!!

Made for a fun and carefree wedding night!

Cannot say enough good things about Encore! We had Andre and Stephanie as our DJs and also used their Photo Booth, all of the staff from the very beginning of the wedding planning processes to the end of the night were incredible. Their communication and organization is unmatched. You get to listen to sample sets from various DJs and choose who best fits your style. Their online planning portal helps you plan your music choices but also your timeline for the whole wedding. Our DJs checked in with us multiple times throughout the night to make sure we were happy and had the dance floor going the whole night, they played something for everyone and set the tine for a fun and carefree night.

Ray was amazing

Ray was our DJ for the night and did amazing. When technical difficulties started he fixed them right away and made sure the night went off without a hitch. Awesome Vendor

We highly recommend Encore Events! They were extremely professional and reliable, easy to plan and communicate with, and brought a lively, positive energy to our wedding. We had peace of mind with our ceremony sound and microphone needs, and the dance floor was super fun during the reception! The online planning portal and meetings with your DJ really ensure that all the details are covered ahead of time so that you can enjoy your dress stress-free! I can easily say that Encore Events was one of our favorite vendors to work with for our wedding!

Review of the company as a whole:
We are from the Philadelphia area got married at Turning Stone Resort Casino in May. We actually found Encore Events at the wedding expo that TS was holding, Steph was preforming and Mikey was working the crowd – as soon as we heard Steph’s mix we knew we wanted Encore to be a part of our wedding! When talking to Mikey he mentioned the virtual open house that Encore does once a month and we thought that idea was amazing – since we lived 4+ hours away from their offices. The open house we attended was a blast – we got to listen to a bunch of their DJs, in the comfort of our own home, while still getting to interact with a few of the DJs who were also on the open house for that night.
Encore Events truly isn’t lying when they say you become part of the Encore Family when you sign with them. We worked with so many members of their team throughout our wedding planning and we truly feel we developed relationships with each person we worked with! Everyone is super responsive either via email or text message, which we also loved.

Encore throws a VIP event, where you can see your wedding DJ in action – we attended the Spring event just before our wedding and it was such an amazing night. Drinks were flowing, people were dancing, the vibes were incredible – and it was a mini preview of how our wedding would turn out. (This event was definitely worth the 4.5 hour drive and the speeding ticket that was encountered on the way 😂)
We also added a photobooth package with Encore Events and Jordan was super helpful when it came to explaining all the different packages they had to offer

Review of our wedding DJ – John Roach:
John was incredible to work with and our guests are still talking about how good the music was at our wedding! He was so easy to talk to from the beginning of our wedding planning right up to the end. We had John custom mix our first dance and also our Mother/Groom dance and they were both done perfectly! We experienced some unexpected weather and ended up getting married in a total downpour but John rolled with the punches and the audio for our ceremony sounded exactly as it would have in perfect weather. We also had some last minute changes for my bridesmaid intro and John was able to make those changes on the fly without a problem!

We Said 'Yes' to the Best!

Encore Events is truly the DJ and Events leader in the region. As my wife and I were looking to find our DJ for our wedding in November 2023 we were nervous as we weren't familiar with the process of how to search and select one while we lived afar in Washington, DC for our wedding in Rochester, NY.
Encore's virtual open house events were a gift to say the least. After the first one we definitely knew who we wanted to choose (more on DJ Jordan soon!) and by our second open house we simply wanted to listen to and enjoy the mixes by several different DJs!

From the beginning until the end, we felt that Encore and our DJ, Jordan, explained everything thoroughly and clearly. From their user friendly online portal that allows you to choose do not play, would be nice, and must play songs to also providing information on their additional services like their cold sparklers, which we opted in for later down the road.

Now our DJ, the absolute heaven-sent Jordan Rakiewicz, is not only a master spinner, but understood both my wife and I's musical tastes with accuracy, precision and care. From just a few conversations that we had with Jordan she proved to be JUST AS excited as we were. How much more can you ask for when a vendor is clearly there for you not only professionally, but personally building a connection with us that only enhanced our entire wedding experience.

The recognition for Jordan reverberates to this day from beyond my wife and I and throughout our entire wedding where she proved to be the ultimate hype-woman - getting our guests prepped and primed to receive us newlyweds and leading the dance floor with effortless ease. Not only that, Jordan broke down what to expect with our huge 20 person wedding party and provided crystal-clear directions to our guests with her MC finesse as the night continued on until the last minute.

Thank you to Encore and huge thank you toJordan for keeping the high energy, flawless people-orchestration, and allowing us to reminisce on the favorite day of our lives with deep affection. We continue to hear from our family and friends how we wish we could build a time machine and go back. Much love to Encore and Jordan!

One piece of advice: HIRE ENCORE EVENTS.

We had DJ Mickey and his assistant, Seb, for our wedding this past June (2023) and when I tell you!! OMG! They killed it. Our guests are STILL talking about how amazing our DJ was...6 months later!!

The DJs at Encore Events are masters at their craft. They truly run as a well-oiled machine. The communication from the first inquiry to the very end of the wedding night was absolutely superb. Please do yourself a favor and hire Encore! You won't regret it.

Blessed with the Best!

Choosing to hire Encore to be a part of our wedding day was the best decision. Encore was a vendor I never once worried about. From the very beginning, their communication was timely and they were invested. Rich took a lot of time in our first meeting to learn about us and our vision. We then loved the opportunity to select our DJ by attending a zoom that allowed you to listen to all of their djs and their style. We found this to be an added perk. From there, we decided to hire Mickey and thank goodness we did! Not only is he phenomenal at his job of being a DJ with smooth transitions and keeping the dance floor alive, but he is a genuine person who checked in on us multiple times throughout our planning process as well as our wedding day. We received so many compliments of about our DJ and feel grateful that we had the experience we did. We also chose to use the sparkler fountains, which we loved. We also had a Photo Booth through encore and found Jordan to be wonderful to work with as she helped us choose what package would work best for us. The Photo Booth was a highlight of the night for many and having these memories forever is something I will cherish. I will hands down be recommending encore and referring anyone looking for a DJ. Amazing service!

Encore Events were with us every step of the way beginning with their planning tools to the day of coordination. We really liked that we were able to sample all the different DJ styles to find the best match for our taste. Andre was great and had the dance floor packed all night! Ray Tiano was our wedding DJ, and he was absolutely PHENOMENAL. We had a Halloween wedding, and he happened to have some themed playlists from events past... it was just great working with someone who was as enthused about our wedding theme as we were. He just GOT US in a way that really impressed us and got us extra hyped for the big day. Then, come the wedding, Ray was very kind and attentive. Throughout the night, he checked in on us to ask how things were going, how we were doing, if we wanted a vibe change, etc. He was very personable and knowledgeable, and a talented emcee who hit all the right marks, flawlessly cued the song selections chose for special moments... And then the party started, and he blew the roof off. Our photographer, who was in from out of town and has shot hundreds of weddings, made a point to tell us how awesome Ray was. She said, "I told him if he worked in my state, I would recommend him to everyone. One of the best wedding DJs I've ever seen." He really kept the party alive all night. The dance floor got more crowded as the night went on, rather than less. Multiple people came up to us late in the evening to say goodbye, only for Ray to spin a new track that made our guests go, "Nevermind, staying for this one," and then hanging around until the end of the night. Encore was also incredibly organized and responsive to questions, with their periodic automated emails, tips, and reminders. One of the best, easiest wedding decisions we made. An Amazing Experience with Encore Events

Our experience with Encore Events from start to finish was nothing but exceptional. From working with Jordan our "Booth Fairy" who not only led a comprehensive overview of booth options but also designed our overlays to Mikey who helped go over the planning portal, everyone was extremely helpful and incredibly nice and personable. John Roach was our DJ and was absolutely fantastic. One of the most important aspects of our wedding to me was our DJ, I wanted to make sure everyone was up dancing having a good time with a legit DJ and John is just that. I could not recommend John enough, he made sure everyone had a great time and was a great help to our officiant making sure she felt comfortable with equipment during the ceremony. We hired Encore Events for our wedding that was hosted at The Highline. When reaching out to other local companies, Encore was extremely quick to reply and answered any questions that we had right away. Best wedding planning decision!

We hired John for DJ services for our wedding and we had absolutely no regrets with that decision. We had guests coming up to us all night, as well as for weeks after the wedding, complementing the DJ - from the playlist to the song transitions and announcements throughout the night. There was not a single point in time where the dance floor died down. From the moment we decided to hire Encore Events, the planning process was extremely easy and straight forward. The planning portal was a great way to build our music choices over time and made it much less daunting than sitting down to do it all at once. “BEST DJ EVER” with Mickey at Encore Events

I had a wonderful experience working with Encore Events as my wedding DJ. The first thing that impressed me was their customer service and dedication to following up during the planning process - as wedding planning can be quite stressful, it was nice to have a vendor that was on top of my timeline and kept me on track for planning! The wedding experience was awesome - Mickey was our DJ and he did an amazing job taking our song suggestions and incorporating them into the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He was also so warm and easy to work with. I had a few guests tell me that we had the best wedding DJ ever!

The perfect DJ

We had a really great experience with Encore Events. First and foremost, they were more professional than anyone else we had spoke with. But most importantly, they really listened which meant that we had the exact music and vibe we wanted for the whole night! At one point a guest turned to me and said “this is the best wedding playlist I’ve ever heard!” Kendrick was our DJ and I could not recommend him more. The photobooth was awesome as well - definitely worth every penny!

Working with Encore events with Jordan as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The process went very smooth and encore events is very organized in their process. Jordan met with us and really took the time to figure out the vibe we wanted for the wedding. The music she selected was on point and we still have people telling us how much they enjoyed our DJ. From having music/ mics for the ceremony to knowing exactly what to play when to have everyone dancing, I would pick Jordan over and over every time! It felt like fate that my husbands name was also Jordan! I wish I could go back and relive the night again and again. I can only hope that I’ll run into her & Ted at another wedding in the future!! Highly recommend Encore events with Jordan & Ted as your DJ!

DJ Ray did an amazing job for our wedding - and that's an understatement. My husband and I couldn't stop raving about everything he did, from keeping everything on track, playing a great set of songs (we got many compliments from guests), and keeping the energy on the dance floor. Book Encore NOW!

There is a popular Idiom and im sure you have heard before… “You get what you pay for”. I am writing this review to be living proof that if you are looking for an AMAZING night to remember, one that you will get what you pay for then…. book Encore. You are about to throw the biggest party of your life as you are sounded by hundreds of friends and family members. There are three things’ people will remember from any wedding… Food, Drinks and Music. No one will remember what flowers you had, or the color of the napkins or even what your cake looked like. They WILL however remember your AMAZING Encore DJ. There are NO WORDS of how much respect and gratitude we have towards the Encore family especially our DJ, Jordan. We booked Encore based on reviews and feedback from other brides and it was the best thing we could have ever done. When we met Jordan at the Encore VIP party, we knew instantly that she was the IT girl for the biggest day of our lives. Honestly from start to finish…everyone was so professional. The easy-to-use online portal, check ins via Zoom, email reminders and more, they were all nice touches and SO helpful. We also appreciated that they offer a variety of DJ’s. Jordan is a hype girl extraordinaire but, if you are looking for someone more chill… they have that! Our guests still reminisce of our wedding and ALWAYS bring up Jordan. Encore Entertainment is the REAL DEAL and im so glad we booked with them. Jordan, we love you and appreciate EVERYTHING you and Ted did for us that night, you played a BIG factor in making this a day we will NEVER forget. Mickey was absolutely incredible. We can’t say enough good things. He was organized, contributed excellent and practical ideas about our reception timeline, quickly responded to emails. Most importantly, he kept our dance floor packed all night long! So many of our wedding guests have commented on how great our DJ was and loved the variety of music he played. There was something for everyone, and Mickey did a fantastic job at reading the room, sifting through requests to make sure they fit the vibe, and closely following our detailed timeline. Easily the Best Vendor at our Wedding!

We had Ray from Encore DJ our wedding. From our initial meeting, Ray was calm professional and put me and my wife at ease. It was clear that he knew what he was doing and that we wouldn't need to worry at all about music at our wedding. But it wasn't until day of until we realized just how great of a choice we had made. Ray became a full-blown wedding coordinator day of, keeping us on track with timing, making all the speakers and our parents feel at ease. If it weren't for Ray we likely would have missed our cake cutting. And once the dance floor opened, Ray kept the party going until the venue closed. Doing custom mashups of songs and reading the room to make sure that the energy never dropped. We got many comments from guests (especially younger ones) that our DJ was one of the best of all the weddings they've attended. We could not be happier with our DJ choice, they are worth every penny!

Hire Encore Events for any celebration!

We had Encore do our wedding back in 2015 and I still remember how professional and stellar they were! So we absolutely had to have them for our Julie Baker Annual Golf Tournament! Rich helped us go over song choices during cocktail hour, dinner and dancing and he was so organized and knew exactly how to set the vibe. He was able to get over 200 plus people to sit down for dinner (nearly impossible!) and give donations for our event! We were able to raise $50,000 for Willow Domestic Violence Center that evening and we absolutely know that Encore played a huge part in that! Rich even posted about the fundraiser to social media and created the perfect video for it prior to the event with a link to donate, we didnt even ask him to do that! When you think of a DJ you think of music and occasionally some announcements..Encore went way beyond that. We cant thank Rich and Encore events enough for their efforts and what they did to create such a wonderful memory for our family. Do yourself a favor and hire Encore for your next event or wedding and you will absolutely not regret it!

Packed Dance Floor

I have nothing but good things to say about working with Encore! From our first meeting I knew I wanted to have Encore be the DJ for our wedding. When we got to pick our DJ, we watched all of the DJ videos to make sure we picked the right one, and boy we did! Jordan was amazing! She was so much fun during our planning meeting with her. I was still emailing with her the night before our wedding making changes and clarifying things.
The dance floor was so much fun all night, I didn't even want to leave the dance floor to get a drink. I was dripping in sweat from dancing and jumping. I have never been to a wedding where the lights get turned on and the dance floor is still full.

Simply the BEST team around!

It has taken me a full month to recover from the EPIC party Encore Events put on for our wedding. Our goal from the beginning was to have the best music and party during our reception. It was hands down, the most amazing time! Our friends and family cannot stop talking about how good the DJ was (way to go Rich!!). From the beginning of the day to the very end, Encore was there with a drink/food in their hand (for Mitch and I) and a microphone in the other. Ray was Amazing!!!

Ray absolutely crushed it, he played music based on the crowd and kept EVERYONE on the dance floor the entire night (when I say everyone I mean ranging from early 20’s to grandparents). Encore Events made our day carefree!

I HIGHLY recommend Encore Events and our DJ, Kendrick! From start to finish in the planning process Encore Events communicated effectively and clearly. It made the planning so easy! Their online portal makes it easy to add "must play" (and "do not play") songs as you think of them. Kendrick created custom mixes for our special dances and accommodated our song and playlist requests. On the day of our wedding, Kendrick not only provided fantastic music, but also served as the perfect emcee and reorganized our timeline when we started to run late. This made such a difference in allowing us to enjoy our day with no worries. We knew Kendrick and our photographer had it under control so we were free to have fun! Thank you Encore Events!

I can’t stress enough how great Encore is. They have the most thorough systems for planning, give you lots of control over your music, and Mickey was the best DJ we could have ever imagined! Incredible. Amazing. Spectacular.

Another incredible vendor and one that works so closely with Arbor that it was a no brainer for us. From the virtual open house to the event portal for building out your wedding details, everything was smooth sailing and such a fun, engaging process. Our DJ was Rich Cranston, and boy, did he live up to expectations, and then some. The dance floor was packed from start to finish. Rich and his amazing crew were so fun, upbeat, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy, checking in every hour or so for requests and to see if we were enjoying ourselves, which of course, we were! They were so amazing for the ceremony too. The music was magical and exactly what we wanted.

A testament to how detail oriented Rich is: we opted for the dry sparklers, which if you are thinking about… do it! We wanted to use them in our ceremony, which was logistically a bit tough. But working with Arbor, Rich made it happen, in the best way! Mid-way down the aisle during the recessional, we stopped for a picturesque kiss, and boom: sparklers ✨ at the end of the aisle. It was everything and the exact moment that we wanted. We asked, and Rich freaking delivered! So many compliments from guests on everything about the DJ - we also have the best memories of the parents getting behind the DJ booth. Basically, if you’re thinking about Encore, book right now!

Amazing wedding DJ

Super organized and professional when planning the wedding, had an easy to use portal in which to set must-plays vs don't-plays and share what sort of vibe we were looking for, and the DJ (s/o to Rich Post) was amazingly talented! Mixes of songs we didn't expect but loved, MC'd across the whole wedding, and the dancefloor was packed the whole night. He even stayed 30 minutes extra to close out the night and was super flexible. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wedding DJ in the area.
