If you want your wedding to be absolute EPIC you need to hire Rich Cranston and his crew. Rich went above and beyond that past year to make sure our wedding , our music , our timeline, our dances and reception was everything we dreamed of. Well let me tell you our wedding was everything we dreamed of AND MORE!!!! I cannot say thank you enough to rich , savvy and encore events for absolutely KILLING OUR RECEPTION!!! The amount of people that texted called us after our wedding was INSANE!!!! They said it was the absolute most electric wedding they ever been too!’ ( THANKS TO RICH) the whole night they made sure me and my husband were taken care of. Encore was great and Justin was wonderful to work with. He was flexible, professional, and played songs to fit the crowd. The uplighting and spot lighting were great extra details! The monogram and crystals added that something extra to be seen when you walked in. The only thing I would have changed is the pipe and drape. We used white pipe and drape for our head table backdrop: I was expecting it to seem like a curtain that was flowy and had an airiness to it but it seemed more like a flat projection board. All in all, they did a wonderful job and offered support throughout the wedding process. It was clear that they love what they do!

Best wedding DJ ever, such a fun wedding!
Hands down, Rich and the Encore Events team gave us the best wedding we ever could have asked for!! Rich’s attention to detail is immaculate, he is ultra talented, friendly, and professional. Encore brought both the music and energy! Everything from the custom music mixes they created, to the lighting, to the monogram that they created and displayed, it was just perfect. The team is highly skilled and beyond amazing. My friends and family are still raving over what a great time they had. We would 100% hire them again in the future.

Encore was the BEST! From the moment that we signed on they were there every step of the way. The staff was constantly checking in and willing to assist with even the wedding planning and contacting other vendors. Rich Cranston rocked it as the DJ for our day and made things so much fun and easy. He checked in with us throughout the day and kept the music flowing and people dancing. Truly phenomenal experience from beginning to end. We talked to several staff members throughout the process to get a run down of backgrounds, timing, how the softwares work, and more. We also had a meeting with our DJ to walk through day of timeline as well as expectations and necessities leading up to it. When the day arrived, not only were Joey and Mickey early, they helped us finish up some decorating and moving things around! The nature of our event was a bit tricky and they helped keep us on track and navigated/manipulated the schedule of activities as the night went on. Incredible experience all the way through!!!

Absolutely amazing!
John of Encore Events was amazing! He had the crowd dancing right up until the end and was very personable. Encore also provided lighting and a photobooth which really brought the room together and was a lot of fun to see everyone play with the props. I would recommend them for any wedding or big event. :)

Encore Events was INCREDIBLE to work with. Rich and Sav played the best music all night and truly made the entire wedding perfect. They were great about checking in with me and always keeping the guests engaged. Rich was so kind and even made sure to pull my chair out every time I went to sit down. It's the little things like that that stood out and made working with Encore special. There were NO hiccups, conflict, confusion etc. throughout the entire process all the way through the wedding day. EVERYONE at Encore Events was so helpful and engaged while we planned our wedding. They were so great that they even asked to help in other ways outside of just "DJing". I 1000% recommend Encore Events, we have nothing but positive things to say about them!!

Awesome DJ and company!
We had a great experience with Encore. We got to see several DJ's perform so we could work with the one we felt was a best fit - DJ Andre was awesome - timely, mixed our playlist just right, kept things moving, and most importantly kept the dance floor busy all night! Encore has a great planning site so you can build your playlists with ease. They send regular follow-up e-mails and you have scheduled follow-up Zoom meetings so you can check in on progress. If you have any questions, they respond very quickly. I was nervous about having a DJ, not knowing how energetic they'd be, but we were really really happy with Andre and Encore Events as a whole! I'd definitely recommend them both to other Rochester couples!

Our DJ was Jordan and she was AMAZING! Her and the team at Encore made the whole process so much fun and enjoyable! Their online website is very user friendly and it was easy to add songs that we would like played as well as creating a timeline. They also walk you through it all and take the time to go through your entire timeline with you to make sure that every detail is accounted for.
The day/night of our wedding was awesome. My husband and I had the time of our lives. Jordan will be your hype girl 24/7! She had all of our guests up on the dance floor and kept the party going! All of our guests were coming up to us saying OMG I LOVE YOUR DJ. It’s good when you’re having a great time but it’s great when you know all of your guests are enjoying themselves just as much as you are! If you’re having an event don’t hesitate to book Jordan. She will go above and beyond and make your day a dream come true!

We had Dj Ray Tiano. He and his team were amazing. He exceeded all of our expectations. He was always available for questions and knew exactly what music to play to get the crowd going. He made an extra effort to pronounce everyone’s names correctly and was able to make minor last minute changes when necessary. Thank you Ray!

We booked Encore for our August 2021 Wedding and I’m glad we did. Our DJ, Andre, was responsible for the entire flow of the evening and made sure our timeline went according to plan. He paid attention to the type of music we liked and what music kept our guests out on the dance floor - everyone had a blast! The entire team was so helpful through out the planning process, especially while everything was changing because of Covid. Encore is well worth the investment if you care about having an evening that flows well (ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner music) and keeps your guests entertained and dancing. We hired them as a recommendation through our wedding planner and were not disappointed. Throughout the whole process everyone was helpful. The online portal that they utilize to organize is amazing and super helpful when trying to decide songs. Andre was our primary DJ and he was very go with the flow especially when we had to make timing changes, decided not to do parent dances, and even stayed late for us when we asked. He made sure the dance floor was full at all times. Definitely 100% would recommend!!

We booked Encore Events for our September 2022 wedding. Let me make one thing 100% clear, they are RESPONSIVE! Their turn around time for an inquiry felt immediate (within a few hours)!! We spoke with multiple people throughout planning (Mickey x2, John, Andre) and all of them were nothing but supportive, professional, and informative. We had a hard time picking a DJ, only because there were so many great options, in the end we booked Andre. Andre was everything we had hoped for in a DJ! He was a vital part of our event. He managed to match the music to the energy of the wedding, so impressive, because we have such a wide variety in taste in music! From Dashboard Confessionals to Lil Wayne, the transitions were natural.
Encore uses a music portal which was very cool and user friendly. They are professional, period. They know what they are doing. Do not book any other DJ besides one on this team!!

No Need to Keep Searching
Encore Events is extremely polite, professional and down right FUN! They are experts in the business and it was apparent with the very first meeting that we did not have to look any further for a DJ company. We were able to listen to each DJ 's individual mixes and pick who we wanted to create the party of our wedding night (this decision is tough because the talent at Encore is out of this world)! They also host open houses which provided such a fun date night jamming out to the best mixes! We picked DJ Mickey who is an outstanding individual and professional. He was organized and punctual for our wedding meetings and he paid very close attention to the details we wanted to make our night perfect. He is so calm, cool and relaxed that you can't help but feel just the same. If you like things your way for music and event coordination, have no fear. He will actually turn your dreams into reality. In fact, he was so savvy that he blew our minds with his amazing tracks during our wedding. He certainly lives up to his nickname at Encore as the "chief engineer of hype." The entire dance floor was packed...the ENTIRE night. When you have people running up to you during the wedding and saying how amazing the music is with pure excitement in their eyes, you know you made the right decision.

Kept the Wedding in Gear and the Party Going
I want to say a BIG thanks to DJ Mikey V. He guided us along the way in zoom meetings, making suggestions. When the big day came (9/17/22) he stepped in wherever needed. Since we operated without a coordinator, Mikey guided the ceremony, the reception, dinner and the party. He also wasn’t afraid to try and make our 3 year old smile for pictures. Very happy with the service, music selections and the above and beyond effort from Mikey!

So happy with Encore Events!
Encore Events was amazing from start to finish. They were very helpful in the planning process making sure to set up meetings along the way so nothing was missed. Rich and Savannah blew us away on our wedding day. I had no idea how helpful they would be with making sure our ceremony went exactly as planned. Rich was even by our side telling each part of the wedding party when to walk down the aisle. I cannot recommend Encore Events, Rich and Savannah enough!!
