About
The Highline is a historic wedding venue located in Rochester, New York. Housed in a former Cadillac showroom from 1925, the space has been lovingly transformed into a bright, modern special event venue. The establishment is owned by sisters Jessica Klein and Alyssa Cohen, who boast a combined 30 years of experience in the event industry. This duo adores hosting once-in-a-lifetime celebrations that leave a lasting impression on all in attendance.
Facilities and Capacity
The Highline is comprised of 2 spaces, The North + The South Ballrooms. The North & South are separated by a private hallway & can be enjoyed individually or in tandem.
The Highline South, the more spacious of the 2 Ballrooms, boasts vintage styled lighting that illuminate herringbone wood flooring, hand crafted millwork & exposed brick walls. Brass elements throughout give way to stunning wood columns & towering windows that flood natural light into this stunning Ballroom. Architectural elements merge past with present intertwining historic with modern, making this an unparalleled backdrop for your event.
The Highline North is currently undergoing a complete renovation that will be conducted by the same creatives that developed The Highline South Ballroom. The South will have a slightly more dramatic flair than its sister space, with matte black elements that mirror the aesthetic finishes of the North Ballroom. Original antique-tin-tile ceilings & millwork adorning the walls bring touches of elegance to the industrial-exposed beam pillars & polished concrete floors. The renovation of the North space is projected to be complete before the end of 2021. The event calendar for the North Ballroom will open in 2022.
Services Offered
Couples who host their wedding at The Highline can avail of a vast array of event services. With Jessica and Alyssa’s guidance, soon-to-be newlyweds can fully customize the venue. Rentals of the space include services like setup, teardown, rental items, and staff during the event. A wedding manager will be on-site throughout the celebration to ensure everything is executed seamlessly. Also located on the property is a dressing suite for the wedding party to use to get ready before the event. The staff invites couples to work with vendors of their choice, and they have a list of preferred vendors available to streamline the planning process.

I love brainstorming, crafting and conducting memorable events with memorable clients! While I understand the intricacies of corporate planning, weddings are my favorite! I truly believe it is an honor to have the opportunity to be a pivotal part in such a memorable occasion, and I handle that responsibility with the utmost care. Weddings are a glimpse inside the soul of a couple, it is the culmination of the love they have for one another and a celebration of all the love that surrounds them.
I am a firm believer that no two events are the same and I love the energetic magic that develops when every detail is nailed to perfection! Speaking of details, I’m borderline obsessed with them - but in all the best ways! I have an eye for aesthetics but understand that function is just as important as design. I enjoy meeting new people and talking events, so let's sit down soon and chat about yours!

Since I was a little girl I have been planning one big production after another. When I began planning events professionally I realized how similar crafting an elaborate event was to producing a theatrical performance. From elementary school, where I was first immersed in the theater, through when the curtain closed on my final college production, I always loved the thrill of all the tiny details coming together.
Planning and organizing are inherently a part of who I am, and they are what I love to do. To me no detail is too small, and I pour my heart and soul into every project I have the special privilege to be a part of. There is something absolutely enchanting about creating a couple's special day and helping them bring their vision to fruition.
Theater was my first love, but planning an event that makes the memory of a lifetime is my passion.
