Karen and her crew did absolutely everything behind the scenes so we could enjoy our destination wedding. For two years, she listened intently to our ideas and needs, no matter how eccentric or silly. She often made me feel like I was her only client, especially when my worries and nerves got the best of me. Since I’m a writer, I made good use of her online portal to keep track of contracts, fotos, ideas, feelings about family politics and more!

Karen is empathetic, organized, detail-oriented and all the things you would need in a wedding planner. She is capable of dealing with all kinds of personalities and negotiating great deals. The red velvet cake she got for us - oh my god. The best!! Her brother Kevin also built a sculpture just for us - we now have it on our wall at home. She also found us an amazing photographer and made sure we had an instant camera booth for our guests !

Over the two years we got to know Karen, it felt like we made a really great friend in North Carolina. Thank you so much for all that you and your crew did for us!!

My wife and I can not say enough spectacular things about the Eliza Paige Team! We had our wedding on 11/16/24 with Ashton as our Lead Planner. To start, we met Ashton in February and fell in love with the vision that we discussed and that she felt comfortable putting together. Over the next 9 months, she was consistent with follow up and answering any questions we had throughout the process, continously keeping us at ease. My wife definitely had a vision of what she wanted the wedding to be and look like, and Ashton helped us with feeling confident in how everything would come together! She was there by our side the whole time to not just handle execution of the wedding day, but also offer guidance and advice on all aspects of the wedding. On top of that, the preparation calls over those 9 months were both helpful and instrumental in making sure nothing was missed.

Now for the day of our wedding...everything was FLAWLESS! Ashton, and the two other planners that assisted with our wedding, Addison and Robyn, were amazing. From the second they got there, and even the day before, they made sure everything was set up perfectly and as planned. For any hiccups that came up due to unforeseen circumstances, they had plans in place that were executed without any distractions. The whole team was there early, stayed late, and allowed us the opportunity to enjoy our day with family and friends. To say they all went above and beyond would be an understatement.

My (now) husband and I planned our entire wedding and reception but realized we needed some help fine-tuning the small things. Karen and Ashton were great day-of coordinators and were super helpful in developing a party time-line, adding a few small decorations, coming up with activities, and helping add a bit of a wedding vibe to the reception rather than having it feel like just a big party!

Eliza Paige Events planned our wedding this past October and WOW! The entire process was flawless. We worked mostly with Ashton during our process and she made life so much easier. I hate planning personally and any time I was struggling with the planning process Ashton was there for me to lean on. I swear if I had a nickel for every time she said "Dont worry, Ill take care of it" I would be rich! The word "No" is not in Eliza Paiges vocabulary! They ask the questions you didnt even think of and are fast in their responses. From communicating with vendors to coming to our vendor meetings with us, she was on top of everything. Ashton truly glows when shes wedding planning; Its admirable to see how passionate she is about making your dreams come to life. Ashton was extremely organized having a minute by minute timeline made for all the vendors and knew exactly where everything was supposed to be. I have met very few people that work as hard as these girls do! The day of our wedding she handled everything from start to finish and made sure our only task that day was get married and have fun. The day went off without a hitch and I owe it all to Eliza Paige. I would 1000% recommend them for anyone looking for wedding help. Karen and Ashton were amazing!! I would recommend them to everyone getting married! From the first phone call down to the wedding day they were excellent. My husband and I had so much fun with them. I went to Eliza Paige Weddings and Events not knowing what to do and how to bring everything together, I had already started planning my wedding before finding them. My husband and I got the month of coordinating package and it was perfect. They were by my side from the start when I was overwhelmed and didn't know what to do all the way freaking out the week of the wedding and helping me get last min things. Our wedding was beautiful, went so smoothly and was everything my husband and I wanted, plus some!

When I hired Ashton and Karen little did I know that they would blow my expectations of what a wedding planner should be out of the water. They helped with every detail of my wedding and knew what vision I had for my special day and went above and beyond to make it perfect. From working with all my vendors, to decorating the venue, to the amazing gift for me and my husband, they made sure it truly was the best day of my life. The love that they have for their job is evident in everything that they do. I had so many guests tell me this was the best wedding they have ever been to and I am sure that is because I choose Eliza Paige to help me plan it.

I got married on September 12 , 2020. Our wedding would not have been a success without Eliza Paige. Through all of the normal wedding stress plus the added Covid stress, they were the best help and I am so thankful for this team! They are by far the best wedding planners!!! They are a perfect team! Karen and Ashton are the sweetest and most helpful ladies. They helped us with finding the perfect vendors and made sure they were in our budget. They helped find decorations and provided so many items like signs and glass vases. They personally sowed our lights and curtain for our sweetheart table too. Also, I had looked on Etsy and found the perfect travel themed table cards but was so disappointed when the shop closed. I looked everywhere and didn't think I would be able to find an alternative. These ladies worked so hard to find us an artist to drawl our table cards the way we wanted. They were my miracle workers and they really saved the day!!! Also, when I wanted sparklers for the send off, they helped me get the perfect ones that actually lasted a long time. They helped coordinate the rehearsal and the wedding day time line. On the wedding day they put up all the decorations!!! Their friend Robin, which I think may also be apart of their team, helped put all the flowers together and did the most beautiful job. I am so thankful for these three ladies, Ashton, Karen, and Robin. Hiring them as my wedding planner/coordinator was by far the best decision I made for the entire wedding. I wish I was a better writer to truly express how great they are. Anyone looking for a wedding planner/coordinator needs to look no further. They must hire Eliza Paige!!!! It is truly the best decision and you will not regret it!!!

First, let me start by saying that I had an amazing wedding day. However, I felt like the planning process was more stressful and time consuming than needed. At first, we thought we would have Karen, who gave us the venue tour, but got Ashton instead - we chose this company because they have venue perks (Cedar Creek Ranch) you can't get with other planning companies. Throughout the process, Ashton was bit aloof and repetitive when asking questions about our wants. At times I didn't feel heard because we could state our preferences, then she could offer alternatives..after we had already made a decision. She also gets a bit chatty and off-topic, so meetings tend to take longer than they should because she's reminiscing about other couples' weddings and what they did. I do think Ashton enjoys what she does, but really enjoys attending weddings. She would make statements like: "oh I love live bands... your menu/desserts look so good" and after: "I had a great time!" as if her day of experience mattered like a wedding guests'. Meanwhile, we had to stay on top of her to get things done that she said she would do (but doesn't write down or seem to remember). I never truly felt "safe" in the planning process, as if things were taken care of. The kicker is that Ashton told my mother the night of my wedding that there was no leftover alcohol --that we purchased to comfortably serve all of our guests-- to be packaged and go home "most couples purchase 2-3x more than they did", when in fact there was about $200 left according to the bartenders. After pestering Ashton for 3 days and having to ask about the remaining alcohol --again, it was not offered up-- we got about half of it back and the rest is nowhere to be found--she suggests that our guests or wedding party took it. I would not recommend her to other couples.

My husband and I were married on May 15, 2026, and booked both Cedar Creek Ranch as our venue and Eliza Paige Weddings and Events (Eucalyptus package) for planning services. While Cedar Creek Ranch is undeniably a beautiful venue, we were very disappointed with our experience working with Eliza Paige and feel it’s important to share honest feedback for future couples.

We chose to bundle these services, both owned by Ashton and Karen, based on the expectation of a seamless, coordinated planning process and cost savings. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet those expectations.

1. Delayed Vendor Approvals:
Cedar Creek Ranch requires vendors to be approved before booking. However, approval responses often took weeks, which caused us to lose out on several vendors who became unavailable during the delay. This created unnecessary stress and limited our options.

2. Lack of Organization:
Throughout the planning process, we were asked the same questions multiple times, indicating a lack of internal organization and communication. This made the experience feel disjointed and inefficient. I had to reach out to Eliza Paige on so many occasions, often asking the same questions since I didn't get a response the first time.

3. Unexpected and Undisclosed Fees:
Several items that were presented as included during the sales process were later charged as additional fees. Most notably, the bridal suite, which was a major factor in our decision given several members of the bridal party were from out of town, was not disclosed as an extra cost until much later. Since reservations for the suite are not allowed until 45 days before the wedding, we were only informed of the $300 fee at that time. This felt misleading and poorly communicated.

4. Failure to Coordinate Vendors:
At our 30-day walkthrough (April 15) the planning team committed to contacting our vendors to begin coordination. Unfortunately, this did not happen. By May 1, our caterer, who was recommended by Eliza Paige, confirmed they had not been contacted. Our bartender and photographer reported the same in the following days. This was especially concerning given that this timeframe marked the start of their “day-of coordination” services.

5. Unprofessional Conduct on Wedding Day:
During the rehearsal and wedding day, the planners’ interactions with family members and the wedding party came across as rude and unprofessional. Additionally, their attire (black tank tops and visibly worn, casual bottoms) was not appropriate for a formal wedding and was noticeable in photos. After the reception, their demeanor during cleanup further left a negative impression on our family and guests.

Final Thoughts:
Our wedding day itself was wonderful, thanks to the incredible efforts of our other vendors (photographer, hairstylist, bartender, caterer, etc.). However, Eliza Paige Weddings and Events was a notable exception and did not provide the level of service or professionalism we expected.
