From the minute my husband and I got engaged we were certain we wanted the McLean Avenue band to play at our wedding and were so beyond happy they did! Padraig was beyond accommodating/ transparent and helpful. He was so easy and laid back to work with which made the planning stress free. Our wedding night was incredible. The band set the tone immediately and got the party going right away. Our family who travelled from Ireland had an absolute blast and were blown away by the McLean Avenue band, noting that it was one of the best wedding bands they had seen in a very long time! 10/10 couldn’t recommend them more and they made our wedding day so so special!

When we started wedding planning, my husband and I were debating getting married in Ireland or in the states. We ultimately decided to get married in the US but had a goal to make it the most Irish wedding we could. The first step was finding a band stateside that could play Irish tunes and keep the dance floor packed. By a miracle, my husband found McLean Avenue Band…we booked them for our wedding in Napa on July 6th and they did not disappoint!

McLean Avenue Band lifted the roof off the building! They brought incredible energy, talent, and charisma to the night, keeping the dance floor packed from start to finish. In the beginning, they had the whole crowd on their feet before we ever entered the room. Padraig had taken the time to find out what county the majority of guests were coming from. During dinner, they played Rose of Tralee and My Lovely Rose of Clare. Their mix of traditional Irish tunes and modern favorites had guests of all ages up and dancing the entire night. The fiddle and saxophone added even more flare. They even had my American college friends on the floor for Rock the Boat.

So many of our friends and family still tell us how amazing our wedding was and a LARGE part of that was thanks to McLean Avenue Band. Their ability to read the crowd was spot on. We had a fiddle player for our outdoor ceremony and the 7 piece band & DJ for the reception. Padraig was so amazing to work with, he was so responsive and helpful since the first time we contacted him. He really made sure everything went smoothly for our wedding. Our guests were up dancing the whole time and Padraig knew how to work the crowd and played the right songs for our guests. My husband and I had so much fun dancing and the band exceeded our expectations. We continue to get compliments after the wedding how amazing they were and made the night. Thank you to The Mclean Avenue Band. They played at our wedding on Saturday and it was more than a great time. No one sat down the entire time. Such talented, talented musicians. We are so happy we were able to have them come and play on our day. Everything was so fun and upbeat and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We knew from the start we wanted to have a band at our wedding and we spent a lot of time researching for the perfect group to set the mood for the night. The McLean Avenue Band were the first band we went to see prior to booking a vendor and they immediately blew us away. We knew from the moment they started playing they were the fun and energetic band we wanted to perform the night of our wedding. We first contacted Padraig to see them play at a local bar and from then on, he was always readily available to talk and easy to communicate with. He was receptive to any specific requests we made while also offering us helpful advice for music choices.

The night of our wedding Padraig was there to help set up sound for our ceremony and worked well with our Maître d’. We had a cello and a violin play our ceremony music and it was simply beautiful. The band also provided our cocktail hour with speakers to play our pre-selected playlist. Padraig did an excellent job with our introductions and kept the reception moving smoothly. We never had to give the band a specific setlist as he knew the style we were looking for and were able to read the crowd the night of our wedding. They played a wide selection of genres to keep everyone on the dance floor and everyone could not stop coming up to us throughout the night to say how fun the band was. Even now more than a week later our guests are still raving about what a blast they had. The most fun part of the night was when the band played their own rendition of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” and had everyone roaring with the incredible fiddle playing. McLean Avenue Band truly made our whole wedding come together and we could not have pictured it without them there. We know choosing a band is often a big (and costly) decision, but we could not recommend this band more as they made our wedding a night to remember for everyone there, not just us. Words can not convey how extraordinary it was to have the McLean Avenue Band perform at our wedding. Working with Padraig was a delight from start to finish - he is an absolute professional and able to calm the nerves of any bride with his knowledge of the industry and just the right touches to make the day special. The joy we felt on our wedding day was captured by the music of the band. On top of our delight in the music all of our guest were also blown away by the performance and the talent from start to finish. I will always have a warm place in my heart for them and all that they did for us. Could not recommend them any more highly - they will have us as fans for life.

Padraig and the McLean avenue band are seriously THE most fun, ever!!!! They made our wedding an absolute blast. We asked Padraig to perform our first dance song called "Feels like Home" by chantal kreviazuk ( a woman) and he completely and utterly blew everyone away with how amazing he performed this song. I will never forget it. The band had the dance floor PACKED every second of the wedding. Padraig was so easy to work with, laid back, and always willing to talk and answer any questions needed. We did not have to worry about the songs they played because ever single one was a hit! The McLean Avenue band was so much fun for all of our irish guests and NONirish guests alike!!! We LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!!

They worked with us leading up to the wedding to do our ceremony music, cocktail hour and the reception. Their music selection and talent added so much to our wedding, and Padraig is a great emcee.
