The inspiration behind The Wood Vibrations was to form an ensemble that redefined the “cover band” experience. Rather than just duplicating the songs we love, we wanted to create a signature sound that was uniquely ours. Combining acoustic instruments with our voices and creative choices, we’ve forged a dynamic blend of intimacy and drama. The result is a sound, style, and energy that is distinct and makes a unique statement at our events and performances. With a repertoire of songs that ranges from atmospheric to floor stomping dance anthems from the last 80 years, there is music for everyone to enjoy. Our instrumentation allows for increased volume control and we offer different band configurations to fit into any situation. Exceeding expectations is what we strive to do. The Wood Vibrations cover a wide range of songs and genres including rock, pop, country, oldies, dance, disco, Top 40, folk, jazz, and classical. The core band consists of acoustic guitar, violin, bass, drums. All musicians are singers which makes for a variety of voices. Our most popular package includes an additional female vocalist for even greater variety and energy. Every booking includes personalized planning sessions, MC services, insurance, song requests, full sound systems for all parts of your event, music during breaks, wireless mic for officiant/speeches, and band lighting. We also offer ceremony music (guitar and violin), cocktail hour music and DJ devices. Our lineup can be expanded to fit your needs with extra singers and musicians upon request.
