I was one of the many brides in 2020 that experienced a postponement due to COVID. I had to make the call A WEEK prior to my first date and Elaina worked seamlessly behind the scenes coordinating with every single vendor to inquire about availability for our new dates and ensuring our vision wasn't lost when having to find new vendors. I am positive she is the reason we did not lose any money towards catering and flowers (minus non-refundable deposits) when we had to postpone. Without Elaina, I don't think we could have coordinated the postponement as easily with our busy work schedules.

Outside of COVID, her services were above and beyond what I expected for a planner. I was provided monthly checklists to ensure I was continuing to stay on timeline as we moved closer to both our dates. I was given at least 3 separate vendors to choose from for those that I had not already chosen and each vendor were amongst the top rated in their category. She was mindful of my budget and if I wanted to splurge on a vendor, she was able to offer ideas on where to cut costs without sacrificing my overall vision. When I learned that our venue may not allow rose petals down the aisle, she offered to pick up every single petal, so I could have a small part of my vision included in my big day.

I could go on and on about how amazing Elaina is as a wedding planner, but hiring her will never be a mistake. I can't speak more highly of Elaina and it's always a pleasure hearing from my other vendors on how amazing it was working with her and how easy she made the day for them.

If you're reading this review, chances are you're recently engaged (Woohoo Congrats!!) and starting to look at ALL of the endless options for vendors and planners... it can be daunting! That's exactly where we were when we made the hands-down BEST decision: to trust Elaina with planning our DC wedding. From our first email exchange, I was instantly relieved because I knew we were in amazing hands. 

When we first started working with Elaina, my Pinterest board resembled the shed scene from A Beautiful Mind... I was all over the place! Elaina didn't miss a beat as she sifted through my 1000s (yes, 1000s...) of pins and helped us come with EXACTLY what we wanted.

Elaina's ability to not only understand your vision but to turn that vision into a reality is the X-Factor that sets her apart. She has an eye for design that can't be taught and her attention to detail is exactly what you need when you're planning the biggest celebration/event of your lives.

I lost count of the number of times Elaina brought up a consideration that I would never have thought of- she has it ALL covered. Her communication with us and with our vendors throughout the planning process made for the best possible outcome on "game day" - our Wedding was better than we ever could have imagined! And we have Elaina to thank for that.

My wife and I both work quite a bit. The first thing we tell people is "If we didn't have our planner, it would have never happened." Elaina was the vital piece to our perfect day. Elaina was an essential part of our wedding day! We hired Elaina as our “Day-Of Coordination” planner and we never regretted it! We wanted someone to make sure the tables were set up right and that people were where they needed to be…We got so much more!

Elaina took care of everything that day and allowed us (my husband and I, our parents, family, and guests) to enjoy every moment of the biggest day of our lives! She acted as the point of contact between all of our vendors during the weeks leading up to the wedding and developed a consolidated timeline for all of the vendors to share, keeping everyone on the same page. She took care of every problem on the day of before we even knew there was an issue. If there was a schedule change, she let everyone know. Elaina’s organization, preparation, and quick thinking made our entire wedding day run smoothly. When my wedding dress strap ripped, Elaina had a sewing kit ready to go….she is that prepared!!

Elaina also helped with our decorations. A few days before the wedding, she picked up our key decorations which she took to the Reception Venue and set up for the wedding. After the evening was over, she collected all of our personal decorations and brought them back to our family home the following morning.

Without Elaina, our family would not have been able to enjoy our wedding and wedding weekend like we did. She made sure that we all were stress-free and having a good time! Elaina is the person you need on your wedding team! We cannot thank her enough!

Having Elaina as our wedding planner was the best decision we made leading up to our wedding! She was absolutely amazing and was the reason we were able to relax and enjoy the whole planning process and our wedding day. Being type A and a previous project manager, I thought I was going to plan my own wedding. I am not one of those girls that has pictured my dream wedding since I was a child, so when I started with Elaina we really were at square 1, with me creating my first pinterest board ever! Elaina helped create the concept for our wedding by piecing together pictures and by me describing my wedding in 3 words: classic, natural and fun :)
Elaina provided great planning tools such as monthly to dos and a budget/organization spreadsheet. She put in the time and research to provide us with many different vendor options and helped negotiate all contracts.
Fast forward to two months before the wedding, Elaina was extremely helpful in making sure, as the bride, I didn't have too much on my plate. I felt comfortable passing of some of the decision making to her! Then came our wedding weekend, Elaina was almost as excited as I was! Elaina was very responsive and helpful in all areas for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding in the Annapolis area. Not only did she help with all of the plans for the rehearsal dinner and wedding day, but she also helped to coordinate a post wedding event the next day. My daughter was recently married in Annapolis Maryland. Being a destination wedding and a holiday weekend my daughter wanted to plan events following the
