As soon as both my son and daughter informed me of their upcoming wedding plans, the first and foremost detail for me to take care of was to hire Dynamic Sounds. Then all other things fell into place with a peace of mind that their weddings would be so uplifting and memorable! David and Lupe are such a humble and personable couple ... so easy to work with and always so professional in handling all the details of wedding planning and overseeing the BIG DAY from beginning to end!

We had a destination wedding at Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa, with ~30 of our closest friends and family in attendance. David and Lupe were like having two MORE friends there! We coordinated everything via phone and email before the big day, and Lupe REALLY LISTENED to our preferences and requests. We had a fairly unique situation - of our ~30 guests, about 10 of them were grandparents, ~10 were our age (30's) and 10 were kids! How would they accommodate everyone? They played a variety of music (and respected our "do NOT play!" list), had games for the kids, and prepared many special moments for us as a couple. When we left at the end of the afternoon, David and Lupe were among those we hugged goodbye.

You want to work with David, Lupe and team, TRUST me. I was extremely selective about my vendors, most importantly the DJ/MC because music is everything to me. David and Lupe provided many tools and resources to guide us through the very stressful process of planning a wedding. These guys have got this process down to a science. They wanted to make sure everything was just the way we wanted it for our reception and boy did it work out. I am so pleased. They provided suggestions to us for personalizing our reception, they created a timeline that I gave to my day of wedding coordinator, they helped things move along seamlessly and most importantly, the music and MC services were ON POINT. This is your DJ/MC, look no further.

David with Dynamic Sounds was simply fantastic - professional, accommodating, and user-friendly. He DJ'd for my military ball in Waikiki, and was so successful that we had to extend the event for an hour. The dance floor was packed. I would recommend him without hesitation for any DJ needs.

Dynamic Sounds was the one vendor that made my wedding. David was the emcee and DJ and Lupe his wife was our wedding planner and day of coordinator. The both of them work so well and professionally together and that was the reason my wedding ran so smoothly. On the wedding day I literally did not worry about anything except looking pretty. Anything that went wrong Lupe was on top of. She made sure my vendors were doing the right things and there on time. She also helped set up all my centerpieces. I'm not exactly sure what else she did but I know she was the reason I had a beautifully set up reception. David made the program of the reception run so smoothly that the guests never had a moment to be bored. We didn't know what kind of music we wanted so we just had them choose what they wanted and their selections were spot on. I've never been to a wedding before and had no idea what even happens at weddings so I definitely threw some outrageous questions their way. They never hesitated to fully and thoroughly answer every single one of them within a short time. Their knowledge of weddings and love they have for their job makes them excited every single time you talk to them about what your vision for your big day is. I highly recommend all their services and I know my wedding would not have been as great as it was without them!

Dave and Lupe are AMAZING!! We knew, from the very first meeting, that they were the vendors we wanted. They are SUPER easy to get along with and truly want to make the day perfect for you. We have been to other weddings where the DJ is ehhh, the party is boring, and guests are just there to watch. Dave and Lupe made sure this wasn't the case at our wedding!

Dave was the best emcee we could have asked for - our guests keep telling us how much they enjoyed our wedding! He has a great sense of humor that anyone would enjoy, a variety of good music, and a loving and fun vibe. He really listened to all the stories we told him at each meeting and was able to throw in bits and pieces to connect to the guests. That, along with the games, made each guest feel involved in the party.

And Lupe took care of everything else! She made the best timeline ever, and was very accommodating throughout the process. She came up with great ideas, but was not pushy if we did not like anything. She helped to make the night exactly how we imagined it would be. She also contacted any other vendors and communicated what needed to be done so that we didn't need to be the messenger in the middle. Lupe helped to set up and clean up and knew where everything was! The night of our wedding, my husband couldn't find his laptop. We searched everywhere, asked our parents and Dave, and no one knew where it was. Lupe saw the panicked look on my face and asked what was wrong. I explained and she knew exactly where it was - she put it away for safe keeping (We should have known better and asked her first). She even took care of our cake vendors who showed up EXTREMELY late :(

We could go on and on raving about Dynamic Sounds because they are so awesome. If you are in need of a DJ or Planner, BOOK THEM! We are so glad we got the chance to work with Dave and Lupe! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Back in 2014, my husband and I attended the free Wednesday night workshops hosted by The Wedding Cafe. My husband really enjoyed the "Grooms" workshop and felt that we could use their services for our summer 2015 wedding. When we went to the Timeline workshop, I found much of their information very enlightening and relative to our vision - especially because we were planning our own wedding and chose not to hire a coordinator. So, we met David and he shared that his wife Lupe was the woman to speak to on that. It was the ultimate for me!
At first, the worksheets seemed a bit overwhelming, but with Lupe's expertise, it became a no-brainer and a "fill in the blanks." Why?, because you are creating YOUR day and just need to put it into perspective. Dee Ann - their Administrative Assistant was also very sweet and helpful. We used their DJ services for both the ceremony and reception and were pleased to hear our exact line-up of songs. All of their tips were well received and executed - per our memories and the compliments of our 250 guests.
It was incredible to see our entire wedding planned out on paper and to have as a guideline to keep ourselves and emcees on track! There were just so many intricate details that could've easily been overlooked, but Lupe was always right on it and our communication was solid!!

I am not one to write reviews very often but people need to know about Dynamic Sounds if they are researching vendors for their wedding day. David and Lupe are SO INCREDIBLE. We were researching DJs and they provided us with so much more than just the music and MC! We got advice and tips for our wedding, the games and timeline too! They wanted to help in any way they could, from the second we chose them for our big day. They wanted to know everything about us and our relationship to make our day so much more personal. We flew all the way from Australia to meet them and we were not disappointed. Although David was not feeling well in April this year (which could have easily been a disaster if we went through any other company), they were so professional and organised and we had a lovely MC and DJ from the Dynamic team stand in last minute and the service was still amazing!!! At no point were we ever stressed or worried, we had full trust in Dynamic Sounds and we are so grateful for all their help in making our day a dream come true. You will not be disappointed if you choose Dynamic Sounds.

From the moment we first contacted Dynamic Sounds and spoke with David, we knew we found a special vendor for our reception. At the time of our first conversation, David wasn't even sure he had availability for our event date, but had no hesitation with spending over an hour on the phone with us going over our wedding details/wishes and answering all of our questions (and we had a lot)! Within 24 hours of our initial conversation he responded with referrals and recommendations of other vendors we were looking for and was able to confirm our date. The professionalism did not stop there, throughout the process David and Lupe were in contact with us (even though they were going through a terrible situation themselves). They worked with us and together we were able to come up with a timeline and plan for our reception. Lupe was such a great help and went over so many details that I would not have even thought of for both my reception and ceremony. I don't know what I would have done without her help!

The reception was the main focus of our big day and was absolutely FANTASTIC! Our timeline was pushed back significantly due to some unforeseen events, but David was there and took care of everything so we didn't have to worry at all and our guest didn't even notice that things weren't going according to plan!! He talked us through every thing before it happened and even gave us advise on cake cutting (we had no idea what we were doing!). The music was everything we wanted and our guests were killing it on the dance floor as soon as the party started! I do not know what we would have done without the expertise of Dynamic Sounds and we were extremely grateful to have them be on our team for our big day. Truly outstanding!

Dynamic Sounds: I couldn’t ask for anyone better. When you first contact Dynamic Sounds, you first get in contact with their secretary, Dee Ann. She gives you basic information on what is offered and she helps you set up appointments with David and Lupe. From there, we went ahead and scheduled an appointment with David to go over what kind of services is needed at our ceremony/reception. From there, Lupe sends a sample of a timeline of what you want during your reception. Lupe helps with the timeline for your wedding and she is amazing at what she does. She goes through every aspect of your wedding, creating a timeline for you and personalizing it to you. She is the one that handles all the little details for your reception. Their whole team is great about getting back to you through email or text – very responsive.
The day of the wedding, David led the reception in a very smooth manner. He was very professional! The music that was playing was everything I asked for. Everything on the wedding day turned out to be perfect!
