One of the best vendors we invested was in Dynamic Sounds!

The amount of time that they spent with us was priceless and much appreciated. We invested in having Dynamic Sounds doing our MC, DJ and Timeliner services. Having a professional there during our reception, knowing what to say, how to say them and what to do throughout the night was such a relief. Even though the night flew by, I or my husband didn't have to worry a bit about a thing. They worked with my coordinator well and really incorporated her help at the same time not intruding on her job.

It's really hard to get personalized, face-to-face service. They were flexible and so willing to meet us. After the first couple of meetings, David and Lupe really felt like they were long-time friends helping us out. I highly recommend their services and have ultimate respect in their craft.

Dynamic Sounds were fantastic as our DJ's. We had a destination wedding in Hawaii and they helped us pull together a timetable for the evening, spoke with all the guests giving speeches and the MC to ensure everything would run smoothly and on time. They provided a list of suggested songs which we used to pick our entrance music, first dance, father/daughter and mother/son dances, etc and also had all our music requests for the evening, including an Australian classic which would not ordinarily be in an American's music collection! I would sincerely recommend Dynamic Sounds to anyone having a wedding in Hawaii and am extremely grateful for all their help and support planning our wedding!

David and Lupe are awesome! We had a great reception that was memorable, unique, smooth flowing, and stress free. When we met with David for our initial consultation, he shared many ideas on how to make our reception unique, all ideas we hadn't seen done before.

Meeting face-to-face with Lupe to put together our timeline was a big help. We loved be able to have her guide us in the right direction with games and ideas that David had shared with us in our initial consultation. We had a great program lined up from start to finish thanks to Lupe.

David did an excellent job at the reception. He was funny and entertaining, and the games were awesome. We had so many compliments from guests saying it's the best wedding they've been to since it was so fun and entertaining, that the games were fun and unique, not the typical ones they'd seen before and that David was spectacular. The program flowed smoothly from start to finish. We highly recommend Dynamic Sounds.

Coordinated our reception, provided, the music to our specifications, DJ, and MC. Everything was perfect, the MC felt as though we new him for years (Dave Dunaway). Lupe was fantastic, and our reception was exactly what we wanted, and out of 400 guests, only 6 people left early because of prior engagements. The rest of the guests stayed until the very end. Dynamic Sounds in Hawaii is highly recommended and is a must for your reception.

Keep a folder for documents, they are updated constantly and you need to keep track of which is the most updated version or you will get confused. Also, take notes of TO DO's from the meetings and emails, this helps meetings flow and helps Lupe out when she is organizing updates and other details :o)

We had originally booked an emcee about 6 months before our wedding. We gave a deposit and then that emcee never responded to our multiple phone calls. With all the wedding planning going on, we were so stressed. After no response from our original emcee, we decided to find another emcee. We asked our photographer and another emcee we tried to book and they both included David in their recommendations. We met David & Lupe about 3 weeks before our wedding. Luckily, our wedding was on a Friday and they were available! During our meetings with David & Lupe, they asked and we expressed what we wanted for our wedding - how we wanted to feel and how we wanted our guests to feel and they were able to provide a truly memorable experience, plus, it was stress-free! I am a "bridezilla", but I let go & felt comfortable in letting Lupe & David take care of all the reception - program, timeline, notifying the wedding court and parents when to walk during the entrance, when the speeches were coming up, where we needed to be...etc. Whatever they discussed with us during our meetings sounded fantastic and most importantly it was fully executed. I recommend Dynamic Sounds to anyone who wants to have a truly fun and unique wedding personalized to you (bride & groom)! =D

David and Lupe from Dynamic Sounds truly made our wedding unique and fun! I will never forget our first meeting with David. We spent two hours going over different ways we could entertain our guests. You can tell when someone has a passion for what they do and David showed so much enthusiasm for having the opportunity to plan our reception. A few days before our wedding we met with Lupe to finalize everything and go over any last minute changes. Lupe did an excellent job at organizing our timeline and putting us at ease. We were on a tight budget and using David and Lupe to not only plan our reception but act as a coordinator worked out perfect! We also had David arrange up lighting which matched our chair cover sashes. We had a family friend DJ for us. David worked closely with him to ensure all music was ready and provided him with a timeline.
What makes them unique is they helped us tell our story of love. Talking about our lives and sharing memories of our parents to present the father/daughter and mother/son dance captivated our audience. Since we didn’t have many single guys or ladies at our wedding David and Lupe had great ideas on ways to do the bouquet and garter toss. We incorporated a football with the garter toss and our guests had a blast. By the end of the night we were receiving many positive comments about our reception. David and Lupe are professional, prompt in all of our correspondences, and experienced. Our reception went smoothly from start to finish and the stress free day that my wife and I had was priceless. Don’t hesitate to choose David and Lupe from Dynamic Sounds for all your reception needs!

Friends have recommended Dynamic Sounds and have been used for 2 different wedding occasions. Both only had positive things to say.
Attempted to book the dynamic duo owners Dave and Lupe about a year out and they were already taken! They had other MC's working with them and was fortunate to find David D. When wedding day came (first time meeting him in person), he gave my husband and I a hug and told us not to worry and assured us that the night was going to be fun. As busy as that day was, it was soothing to hear those simple words. Let me tell you, David D. was amazing! We only had time for 2 games, although they had ideas in mind there was 1 I wanted to play that involved each guest table so it was a huge crowd participation. I found the game on youtube sent the link to Lupe and went over it. That day came and sure enough we played it at the reception and it became such a big hit :) They took their time to watch it, learn it, personalized it and I am grateful because many of our guests enjoyed it. David D. kept the crowd entertained and was approachable for the audience. He also went above and beyond to help me plan a surprise performance. Some of the guest had complimented that it was one the most entertaining weddings they've been to. Communication was key throughout this process. It was a destination wedding so everything was done via phone and email. Lupe and David D. were prompt on answering emails. As busy as summer weddings are, Lupe called me if she couldn't get a hold of me via email, notified me when she was on vacation and even referred me to Deanne in place of her, I had mentioned I was stressed and received a phone call that night. Upon our meeting, Lupe took authority on the timeline and provided suggestions and prepared time slots for everything that went on during the wedding. Thank you Dynamic Sounds for the great memories established. It truly was an awesome night and glad you guys were there to make it happen!

We contacted Dynamic Sounds 2 weeks before our scheduled wedding date! Worked with David and Lupe and everything was put together and confirmed only 2 days prior. At the reception, our Emcee/DJ was David and his assistant Aaron. They were right on with the schedule we put together and was already familiar with how everything would take place, with no notes he referred to. We had specific songs, games and types of music. Everything went on target and all our specifics were fulfilled. Several guests told us afterwards how good a job the Emcee/DJ did. He kept us right on schedule even though we were so busy mingling and talking with guests. David was very patient and kept us on track because of the short reception schedule. Yes, I would recommend them. Their price was very reasonable.

Dynamic Sounds really made our reception a great success.
David, Lupe and all of their staff are very friendly and genuinely care about your big event.
They planned everything for our reception so we didn't have to worry about anything that day.
The games and ideas they had for our reception will fun and included all of our guests.
We still get complimented on our reception almost 2 years later!

After a phone interview with David, we were easily convinced Dynamic Sounds was the DJ for us! Impressed by their creativity, professionalism, and passion, we eagerly agreed to hire them! They provide so much more than DJ service. Lupe and David were incredibly easy to work with. Lupe was always organized and thorough throughout the planning stages while creating our reception timeline. She sent regular updates, and kept us on track during the months before our wedding. We loved their creative ideas that really fit our vision of creating a meaningful, fun, and relaxed reception for our guests. We've received so many complements on the unique aspects of our reception (e.g., interactive games, personalized messages, etc). David did a fabulous job reading the audience, monitoring and adjusting the timeline as appropriate, and managing the occasional drunk guest!

We could not have asked for a better DJ/team for our wedding. David and Lupe were absolutely awesome and if you meet these two, there should be no question in your mind about choosing them. They were probably the entire reason why our wedding went so smoothly for my wife and I. David is a very talented and professional DJ. He has high-tech equipment, and there was absolutely no flaws in the technical aspect of both the music for our ceremony and our entire reception (we had an outdoor wedding). His music selection, was exactly what we had asked for. Lupe was also around during our wedding and she was extremely organized about the timeline of our wedding, ensuring that our schedule was kept on track. David and Lupe also offer great ideas about what to do and what type of activities/entertainment to incorportate into our wedding. They have a great knowledge of what it takes to create a great wedding. Most importantly, they were very easy to work with and seemed to care about making that our wedding day was the greatest, most memorable day of our lives. My wife and I still can't talk about how awesome they were! If you meet them, it should be an easy decision to hire them.

When I wasn't able to make a Wedding Workshop at the Wedding Cafe I sent my groom instead - he came home RAVING about David Louis and Dynamic Sounds. We immediately booked a meeting with them and we are so glad we did! David met with us for 3+ hours that first time and even though he was booked he hooked us up with his buddy, Don, who did a fabulous job at our event. Lots of local weddings are just emceed by uncles or cousins but Don brought a classy - yet local - vibe that put all of our guests at ease and in the know. The driving/organizing/emailing force behind Dynamic Sounds is Lupe. She was FANTASTIC to work with and helped us find so many unique ways to make our wedding memorable. Even when it started to rain at our Reception Venue, Don and his Dynamic Sounds team kept everyone cool as cucumbers as we moved to an intimate venue nearby. MAHALO for making our Wedding SO PERFECT.

We first found Dynamic Sounds through The Wedding Cafe Hawaii’s Wednesday Night Workshops. They were also recommended to us by my sister and brother-in-law who used their services for their wedding three years ago.

After attending The Wedding Cafe Hawaii’s Wednesday Night Workshops, and hearing what David Louis had to say about creating the perfect wedding reception timeline, we knew that his company was a perfect fit for us. We met with David for our consultation and liked his ideas, so we decided to book him. Afterwards, we met with his wife, Lupe, who created our wedding reception timeline. They are both very professional and we had a great time meeting with them!

Dynamic Sounds is very flexible and they make sure to please their couples. They did not judge us, as we went on a more nontraditional path, and were very accommodating about it! For example, we decided not to do the garter toss, bouquet toss, or mother/son dance. We also wanted to take sunset photos, and they made sure to include that in the program since they knew it was important to us. They also were able to create a “dancing in the clouds” type of effect for our first dance, which we loved!

On our wedding day, it was nice that David would check in on us every so often to make sure that we were doing ok, to see if we needed anything, and to let us know what would happen next in our program.

Our main goal for our wedding was to make sure that our guests had a fun, memorable, and romantic experience. Dynamic Sounds was able to create that type of atmosphere for our guests.

After our wedding, many of our guests have told us how fun it was and that it was the BEST wedding they’ve ever been to. We are so thankful for being able to work with Dee Ann, David, Lupe, and their assistants. They are SO nice and were able to help us create the wedding of our dreams. We couldn’t have asked for a better MC/DJ service!

Beautiful, Unique, Memorable. These are the words that we wanted our wedding to be described as. Thanks to Lupe and Spaz, our wedding was a huge success. This was the 2nd wedding that Dynamic Sounds has done for our group of friends, and both were different and fun in its own way. Spaz was the perfect MC for us and kept the energy up throughout the night. Lupe is what sets DS apart from other DJ/MC vendors. She meticulously planned out our reception timeline and helped organize our event. I can't say enough kind things about Dynamic Sounds and would recommend them to everyone.

We decided at the last minute to hire a DJ and Dynamic Sounds was recommended to us by our venue - and we were so glad we went with them! Dave and Lupe are awesome! Our wedding day was perfect! Everyone who attended enjoyed themselves and had lots of fun and laughter! Our main goal was to cater to our guests whom we cherish and our goals and expectations were met! Even after our wedding, we hear comments from others that it was 'the best wedding' they ever went to so far. It felt so good to hear that! Dave and Lupe will make your day close to stress free, they take care of every detail of your reception program that all you do is sit back and relax. Matt and I actually had fun and we laughed so much and that was the best part of it! Dave and Lupe are very professional and know the various cultural differences about weddings and traditions. They are flexible and will work with you on how you want to plan out your reception. We give them an A+. We love them and will continue to keep in touch with them and know that we can count on them for the future events too!

Hiring this Dj/MC package was one of the best things we did. They are such a great company. We also Hired Lupe as our coordinator at the last min. about 2 months before the wedding, and she helped to pull it all together. She worked the timeline out with us, caught all the areas we had missed, set up the day of and made sure things ran how they were supposed to run, and looked how they were supposed to look at the wedding. The DJ and MC added the games and worked our playlists throughout the night with a few extra items in a way that was just entertaining. we even threw extra add in's at them that day like extra hula numbers and a gift of an Ihaka by family and friends, and they just fit it all together flawlessly in a way so our guests and ourselves just had fun, fun, fun.
Our guests are still talking about it being the most fun wedding they have ever been to and its been over 2 weeks since the wedding. As we also found out it wasn't only our guests and ourselves who had fun, but it says volumes when our hired staff (who we never met before) stays after their shift to see whats next because they said they were having to much fun to leave. Saying that they never worked a wedding that was so fun for everyone before.. I cant say enough for the experience this company gave to us and our guests, none of us will forget it. If you are looking for an awesome fun time at your wedding this has got to be your pick..

Married November 11, 2006 in Oahu, Hawaii and had been referred to such wonderful vendors, including Dynamic Sounds. From the first moment we spoke with Dave Louis, we felt completely comfortable and confident he was going to exceed our expectations of the services we needed which included DJ, Emcee, Reception Entertainer as well as providing the sound/speakers at our separate ceremony location. Lupe Louis had also stepped in to provide us with wedding planning for the day of the event to ensure everything remained on track which turned out really great. Both Dave & Lupe provided such a professional and courteous service that they really made our day quite smooth. They felt as though they had been part of the family and guests really enjoyed their entertainment which seem to have guests still bringing up some of the games they included. The unique details that they included in our event really added to our amazing day. The most memorable moment was when we first heard the recordings they asked us to do individually of love letters we had written to one another to hear on our big day. They played them right before our first dance which still gives me the chills. Thank you Dynamic Sounds!

David and Lupe from Dynamic sounds were the best vendors we worked with. Right from the start they were amazing. Not once were we worried or disappointed with their service. They worked hard to get a feel for the visions we had and offered ideas to make the event amazing. All my guests commented that the DJ/MC was so on point and professional. Dynamic sounds helped us have a very fun and magical night for our wedding day. We could not of asked for a better evening.
Our family plans to use Dynamic sound in the future for all of our large events.

Dave and Lupe did an awesome job at our wedding. Lupe worked on our timeline for our reception and it was perfect. They both gave very good ideas on how to personalize our wedding reception. Our guests had a lot of fun. Also, Dave got a lot of my guests to do and some we thought weren't going to dance. He did an excellent job as our emcee. We highly recommend using them as the emcee and DJ. We think that Dave is a much better emcee than hiring a comedian.

David and Lupe provide much more than dj services. They were very professional and experienced in designing, developing and customizing a wedding program that our guests thoroughly enjoyed. We have received many compliments about how our wedding was top notch, how the wedding flowed really well and how specific games were fun and unexpected. We had several meetings until we refined the program satisfactorily, especially the time line. Although we left out some of the typical events included in weddings such as a slideshow, bouquet and garter toss, etc., they were able to help us come up with an exceptional program.
