I am retired from teaching at Boston University's School of Dental Medicine after five years. On two occasions I was given the Outstanding Clinical Faculty of the Year by the graduating class. I come from Long Island where I was named Poet Laureate by the Legislature of Suffolk County, NY in 2005. I am Humanist Celebrant, ordained by the Humanist Society in 2006 and if you are interested in learning more about Humanism, I would suggest looking at the website of The American Humanist Association. In general, Humanism attends to all of the best parts of religion but without a belief in a god of any kind. I am available to do weddings in New Hampshire (where I live) and also Vermont, Southeast Maine, and Northestern Massachusetts. I do lovely, custom written and spiritual wedding ceremonies strictly non-religious in nature, which I will happily provide at your request. I will glady and proudly do LGBT weddings. There is more about me on my website, which is www.danielthomasmoran.net

I still tear up a but thinking of our wedding ceremony and it wouldn't have been nearly as beautiful if it weren't for Dan Moran. His flexibility in being able to reach our crazy top-of-a-hill ceremony site and his kindness throughout our wedding planning process can't be overstated. He is also the only humanist officiant in the area, so if you are looking for a thoughtful meaningful but secular ceremony he is definitely the officiant for you.Sent on 07/05/2014
