Just used this hotel for a wedding weekend. If you are in the Del Mar/Carmel Valley area, I highly recommend it. We had 40 rooms reserved in a block which they managed beautifully, and we used their fabulous restaurant to host a "Welcome to San Diego" buffet dinner for 86 guests on the Friday night before the wedding. It was a perfect evening! We could not have been more pleased with how it all went. This hotel is a hidden gem. The staff was attentive, the rooms were beautifully appointed, the lounge and pool area tropical and fabulous.
As for the dinner, Chef Adam created a South of the Border buffet that people were still raving about the next day! And the beauty of it was, no one had to drive anywhere after an evening of margaritas and celebration, all they had to do was take the elevator up to their rooms! The many guests out from Boston and the east coast couldn't get over the tropical vibe, and the 2+ mile walk out to Torrey Pines St. Beach that parallels the lagoon was a big hit. They also provide shuttle service to guests within a two mile radius!

Can't say enough good things about this hotel and their staff.
