Not only was she the COOLEST human to work with, but she has the best energy and you can tell she loves what she does! My Harry Potter theme was made 15 times better with her added little touches—even rocked Slytherin green for the day! Dj Nixx was super fun, organized and truly made sure to have fun along with us the whole way through. She recommends the best choices for add-ons based on what we wanted and not with the intention to upsell which I appreciated! HIGHLY recommend!

DJ Nixx was one of our absolute favorite vendors to work with! With our blended culture, multi-generation wedding -- we knew that finding a DJ that could have broad appeal, work with our off-the-wall music taste, and play beyond the "average wedding" would be a challenge. DJ Nixx absolutely rose to that challenge.

Her selection and setlist was great, seamlessly blending together an array of music with lightning quick responses to the crowd and the room. There will be no "dead" dance parties with Nixx at the helm. Our dance floor was never empty and several of our guests stopped us the day of to compliment the music.

The communication was frequent, flowing, and friendly and the resourcefulness of Nixx and team recommend them. For our private property venue, DJ Nixx was flexible and adaptable with several high quality options and solutions for our outdoor ceremony. An incredible wedding professional.

DJ Nixx is the BEST -- leading up to the wedding day she thought of everything (like mics for our ceremony which hadn't occurred to me...) -- on the day she did the music/sound for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and everything was seamless -- and most importantly, she put on a PHENOMENAL party!!!! Everyone danced for hours, and she picked the PERFECT last dance song (several weddings after ours requested the same final dance song because it was so fun!!!) and two months later, everyone still comments how much fun they had dancing at our wedding, which was in large part because of the excellent job DJ Nixx did!!!! Choose DJ Nixx and have SO MUCH FUN at your wedding!!

I need to RAVE on DJ Donte. He made our wedding soo fun, and really listened to the vibes we wanted. I think we had like 40 people come up to us either during the wedding or afterwards, just to tell us how amazing our DJ was. I was sweating so much on the dance floor because every song was a banger and I couldn’t stop to catch my breath! Everyone there was ready to party, and he certainly delivered the party. DJ Nixx was so helpful! She was not available on our date so she suggested DJ Donte. He was great! The dance floor was packed the entire time. Everyone had such a great time. Initially we were not sure what songs to put for the playlist and DJ Nixx called us to help us narrow it down and figure out the vibe for our wedding. DJ Nixx by far exceeded any expectations that we had for our wedding reception! She was nothing short of AMAZING! She brought such a fantastic energy and vibe to our reception and didn’t leave much room for people to not be on the dance floor. All of our guests absolutely loved the turntable work and creative transitions from song to song. Not only did she create a fun and amazing atmosphere, she was highly organized and helped ensure that our wedding ceremony and reception ran on a timely manner. We were honored to have DJ Nixx at our wedding and highly recommend her!

Nikki is the best! We first met her at an open house for our venue and immediately knew we wanted to book her. Her energy is contagious and she is so talented! We received multiple comments throughout our wedding about how much guests enjoyed her and the music she played. We ended up having the worst weather for our wedding day and towards the end of the night, it got very cold (we were in a covered/enclosed tent for our reception). Most guests moved back indoors and Nikki also packed her stuff up to come inside and continue the party & music in there. So accommodating for our very unfortunate weather situation.

DJ Nixx was amazing to work with. I had one conversation with her, and I didn't even bother talking with other DJ's because I knew she was the one we wanted for our wedding. She was so easy to work with, responded quickly, and always had a positive attitude. She is also relatable & so much fun. It was really important for me to pick all-female vendors for the wedding as I wanted to promote women supporting other women. I felt so lucky when I saw she was a vendor within the Barr Mansion's network already (she also already had a great relationship with my other vendors Eryn Chandler Photography, Blumen Floral, Caryn from Barr Mansion). She easily understood what we were looking for, and she helped us figure out what we wanted when we didn't know. Our wedding unfortunately fell in the peak of the omicron wave, so we had so many guests cancelling last minute & changes before the wedding due to covid, and we leaned on her a lot to help us navigate what to do. She is a professional and knows what she is doing! I also loved that she knows her audience - she changed the genre of music throughout the night based off of what crowd was on the dance floor. This was great especially since we had a wide range in ages at our wedding, she played something for everyone. Thanks to DJ Nixx for helping us have the perfect wedding!

I was initially impressed with DJ Nixx’s passion and enthusiasm yet chill and accommodating vibe. We were sad to not have DJ Nixx at our wedding (but very excited for her new baby) and relieved to have still had a wonderful experience. DJ Nixx set us up with DJ Chris Roxx and it was an incredibly smooth transition ensuring no stress or additional work on our end. Most importantly, DJ Chris Roxx absolutely crushed it at our wedding, the dance floor was filled all night, he accommodated requests, and he even shared some amazing candid videos he took (without anyone noticing) after our wedding. Amazing experience and highly recommend!
