Not only was she the COOLEST human to work with, but she has the best energy and you can tell she loves what she does! My Harry Potter theme was made 15 times better with her added little touches—even rocked Slytherin green for the day! Dj Nixx was super fun, organized and truly made sure to have fun along with us the whole way through. She recommends the best choices for add-ons based on what we wanted and not with the intention to upsell which I appreciated! HIGHLY recommend! -

DJ Nixx was one of our absolute favorite vendors to work with! With our blended culture, multi-generation wedding -- we knew that finding a DJ that could have broad appeal, work with our off-the-wall music taste, and play beyond the "average wedding" would be a challenge. DJ Nixx absolutely rose to that challenge.
Her selection and setlist was great, seamlessly blending together an array of music with lightning quick responses to the crowd and the room. There will be no "dead" dance parties with Nixx at the helm. Our dance floor was never empty and several of our guests stopped us the day of to compliment the music.
The communication was frequent, flowing, and friendly and the resourcefulness of Nixx and team recommend them. For our private property venue, DJ Nixx was flexible and adaptable with several high quality options and solutions for our outdoor ceremony. An incredible wedding professional. -

I need to RAVE on DJ Donte. He made our wedding soo fun, and really listened to the vibes we wanted. I think we had like 40 people come up to us either during the wedding or afterwards, just to tell us how amazing our DJ was. I was sweating so much on the dance floor because every song was a banger and I couldn’t stop to catch my breath! Everyone there was ready to party, and he certainly delivered the party. He was PERFECT for us!! Thank you DJ Donte!!! -

DJ Nixx was so helpful! She was not available on our date so she suggested DJ Donte. He was great! The dance floor was packed the entire time. Everyone had such a great time. Initially we were not sure what songs to put for the playlist and DJ Nixx called us to help us narrow it down and figure out the vibe for our wedding. Hands down you can’t go wrong with DJ Nixx and DJ Donte. -

DJ Nixx by far exceeded any expectations that we had for our wedding reception! She was nothing short of AMAZING! She brought such a fantastic energy and vibe to our reception and didn’t leave much room for people to not be on the dance floor. All of our guests absolutely loved the turntable work and creative transitions from song to song. Not only did she create a fun and amazing atmosphere, she was highly organized and helped ensure that our wedding ceremony and reception ran on a timely manner. We were honored to have DJ Nixx at our wedding and highly recommend her! -

Nikki is the best! We first met her at an open house for our venue and immediately knew we wanted to book her. Her energy is contagious and she is so talented! We received multiple comments throughout our wedding about how much guests enjoyed her and the music she played. We ended up having the worst weather for our wedding day and towards the end of the night, it got very cold (we were in a covered/enclosed tent for our reception). Most guests moved back indoors and Nikki also packed her stuff up to come inside and continue the party & music in there. So accommodating for our very unfortunate weather situation.
I highly recommend DJ Nixx! -

DJ Nixx was amazing to work with. I had one conversation with her, and I didn't even bother talking with other DJ's because I knew she was the one we wanted for our wedding. She was so easy to work with, responded quickly, and always had a positive attitude. She is also relatable & so much fun. It was really important for me to pick all-female vendors for the wedding as I wanted to promote women supporting other women. I felt so lucky when I saw she was a vendor within the Barr Mansion's network already (she also already had a great relationship with my other vendors Eryn Chandler Photography, Blumen Floral, Caryn from Barr Mansion). She easily understood what we were looking for, and she helped us figure out what we wanted when we didn't know. Our wedding unfortunately fell in the peak of the omicron wave, so we had so many guests cancelling last minute & changes before the wedding due to covid, and we leaned on her a lot to help us navigate what to do. She is a professional and knows what she is doing! I also loved that she knows her audience - she changed the genre of music throughout the night based off of what crowd was on the dance floor. This was great especially since we had a wide range in ages at our wedding, she played something for everyone. Thanks to DJ Nixx for helping us have the perfect wedding! -

DJ Nixx and DJ Donte were amazing! for those looking for someone that can help generate a playlist based on your music interests, help create the appropriate mood for each part of your wedding day and provide helpful insight, look no further than DJ Nixx! Not only were they a pleasure to work with, they made the entire process easy, they are affordable and most importantly, they performed flawlessly. I highly recommend DJ Nixx and her team, and as you will find out, once you meet with them, you will need to look no further for your perfect wedding DJ. -

DJ Nixx and her team were the perfect choice for our wedding! We had DJ Helios as our DJ and she did an excellent job playing all of our requests and keeping the party alive! DJ Nixx was very easy to communicate with via email and phone, always sending me reminders which I appreciated during wedding planning. Between communication, planning, and execution at our wedding, everything went perfectly! I would recommend hiring DJ Nixx and her team for your event. -

Best DJ Ever!
DJ Nixx is hands down the most talented, easy going, helpful, up to date, most professional DJ we’ve ever met. My husband and I originally wanted a live band to play at our wedding, but we are SO glad we came across DJ Nixx and made the decision to book her for our entertainment. After reading others reviews and speaking to Nikki on the phone, we knew we could trust her to DJ a reception no one would ever forget! From the very first call, we hit it off and she was super patient with us the whole way through. She made it very clear what we needed to do and she would take care of the rest. When she started playing music, I remember telling my husband as we were taking photos, “man she really knows what she is doing - this music is awesome.” Her range of music was spot on - I couldn’t of picked a better playlist myself. Our friends and family were dancing ALL NIGHT LONG!! Looking back, I wouldn’t change anything and would book Nikki all over again - we had the night of our lives that night. Thank you DJ Nixx for knowing how to throw the best party and for keeping the dance floor packed. If you’re looking for a DJ, look no further. DJ Nixx is your girl - trust me!! -

DJ NIXX was absolutely incredible. Very detail oriented and thought of stuff I never even knew to consider when working with a DJ. And most importantly, she kept our guests on the dance floor all night long.... so much so that the first two buses back to the hotel were completely empty!!!! It's been weeks since our wedding and everyone is still raving about how amazing she was. We've had so many requests for "our playlist" but it was all her!!! Could not recommend enough!!! -

The DJ Nixx team is amazing! We had initially booked Nikki for our 2020 wedding, but due to Covid, we had to postpone, and then postpone again. She was incredibly understanding and accommodating and always responded to my frantic emails. Due to scheduling issues, she wasn't available for our 2021 rescheduled wedding date, but was able to set us up with another DJ on her team--DJ Donte. Donte was amazing for the wedding! We had a few recommendations for songs, but we really wanted a DJ that could sense the vibe of the moment and spin accordingly, and WOW did Donte deliver! The dance floor was packed almost all night long! So many of my friends and family came up to me during the wedding to say our DJ was amazing. I honestly want to have another party just so Donte can DJ for it. I can't recommend him enough! -

If you want a great party hire DJ Nixx! Professionalism and communication during planning were top notch. We wanted a great variety of music and everyone on the dance floor for our wedding and she delivered! We had soo much fun on our wedding day. Thanks Nikki! -

We would recommend DJ Nixx entertainment to anyone. Nikki connected us with DJ Helios and our wedding could have not been better.
DJ Helios is bilingual and she helped us keep all of our guests informed in Spanish and English.
She captured everything that we wanted for the music and helped us bring traditions from my home country (Venezuela) into our wedding. Simply explaining what we wanted and providing some sample songs she captured exactly what we envisioned! We had about 95% of our guests constantly on the Dance floor! It was the best party ever and it was all thanks to them! -

DJ Nixx slayed our wedding! She was so fun to work with and super easygoing. She listened to our music wants and made sure to not play anything we didn’t want played. She easily read the room and played upbeat songs when necessary and quickly changed if our guests weren’t dancing or feeling a certain song. Definitely knew how to read the room. Would hire her again! -

BOOK HER! BOOK HER RIGHT NOW! The single greatest decision you can make for your wedding is to book DJ Nixx. She is not only the best DJ in Austin, she is such an amazing person. I have the pleasure of working with a lot of amazing DJs in Austin, but I have to admit that she is my favorite. Her personality, her skills and her intuitiveness make her an absolute rockstar. Music is really important to me and my now husband and we trusted her completely. We even had some *peculiar* song requests and she played them with zero hesitation! Honestly, that made the whole night! She even took some video on her phone throughout the wedding and sent it to us a few days later. When you don't have wedding photos or video yet, getting something like that means everything. I probably watched it a hundred times over those few days. I'm so grateful to have had her at our wedding and you will be too! -

For how little information we gave Nikki to go off of… she killed it. She played everything we wanted and more! Our entire party was dancing the night away. Somehow her timing was always perfect! She blended our love of country music, classic rock, top 40, and classic 80s seamlessly! We give so much credit to our planner for finding her. She was easy to work with and blended perfectly with our vibe/party! Highly recommend! We received so many compliments on Nikki and her infectious vibe. We are even thinking of hiring her for other events! -

Do yourself a favor and book Nikki as your wedding DJ! You will NOT regret it! From the moment my husband and I saw the pictures of turn tables on Nikki's website, we knew we wanted to talk to her. My husband really wanted a REAL DJ for our wedding. The first phone call we had with Nikki it felt so comfortable talking to her and she really heard/saw our vision for our wedding. She was so responsive and did a great job staying on top of everything with us. We even chose to have Nikki officiate our wedding and she did a PHENOMENAL job. I seriously cannot sing her praises higher! She had 2 in-person meetings with us and she helped us pick readings and figure out the flow of our ceremony (we were so clueless and lost). Nikki helped ease our minds and take a lot off of our plate because we did not have to worry about our music or our ceremony at all. Not only did everyone say what a beautiful and well-written ceremony we had, but everyone commented on how amazing the music was at our wedding! Nikki let people do requests and she read the crowd SOOO well. She also did our lighting and it turned out FABULOUS! You need a DJ and lighting that makes you feel like your wedding is the best party ever? Nikki is your woman. You need an officiant? Talk to Nikki. The best, coolest, and warmest woman, the easiest vendor to work with, and woman of SO MANY talents!!! DON'T HESITATE, BOOK HER NOW! -

DJ Nixx absolutely killed it at our wedding on 12/29/19. From the initial consultation, I felt comfortable with Nikki and that she really understood (and liked) the vibe we were looking for on our day. I wanted the entire day to be high energy with a celebratory feel. She executed perfectly from the ceremony through cocktail hour/dinner and especially during the dance party. Nikki was especially kind to our young nieces and nephews who were fascinated with her equipment and requesting tons of songs. She was also able to incorporate many songs from my husband's Eastern African heritage that somehow worked flawlessly with the motown and early 2000s pop vibe. Our guests had an incredible experience and many were commenting on how she really made the party days after the wedding was over.

DJ Nixx was incredible! She was everything we could have asked for in a DJ, taking our “mood playlist” and special requests and turning them into an amazing night that got everyone on the floor and dancing until the venue kicked us out. We had multiple guests tell us it was the most fun they had ever had on a dance floor and raving about Nikki after the fact. We had several special requests which she not only accommodated, but executed perfectly, even better than we expected. For example, one of our groomsmen is a musician, and she played his song, called him onto the dance floor and brought a lot of energy and fun to the moment.
Nikki was very responsive to our requests and questions before the wedding, and great to work with on the day. She’s cool, funny, professional, energetic, and talented. We’re so happy we hired her. -

Nikki was a Recommendation from our Photographer. We could not have asked for better service. Nikki set us up with DJ Girl Friend and the night was perfect. All of our songs were played and the dance floor always had people on it. Five star!

DJ Nixx Entertainment came highly recommended from both our wedding planner and our photographer, and I am so glad we were able to hire Donte as our wedding DJ. Our initial phone call was so easy and I knew he would understand the vibe I was going for. I really did not want a whole lot of cheesy wedding music you hear at every wedding you go to, and Donte totally understood that. I gave him a few songs that I loved as an example of the vibe I was going for and he truly hit the mark with every song he played! We had an absolute blast and he was a huge part in making our wedding so much fun! -

DJ Nixx absolutely delivered for our wedding reception. She was easy to work with from the start and was able to work in all of our favorite songs while keeping the fun going. She was able to coordinate excellent dance lighting for the event when we had some limited options due to the space. We also had a lot of special things happen during the night that required her attention (including a surprise flash mob!) and DJ Nixx never skipped a beat! Highly recommend! -

So Nikki was recommended to us, we met with her and knew right away she would be perfect. What we didn't know though, was just HOW perfect she would be! She exceeded our expectations, was so easy to work with, was responsive and played all our requests for just the right amount of time, while throwing in some of her own stuff based off of what she thought our crowd would want to dance to, and lets just say she nailed it. In every conversation with family and friends after the wedding, they all mentioned how fun the DJ was. Thank you Nikki!
