Facilities and Capacity
A versatile venue, Prospect House provides both indoor and outdoor facilities for the wedding of your dreams and has innumerable configurations, able to be set up according to your preferences and requirements. Enjoy an outdoor ceremony at Little Tree or at the Ceremony Lawn. The Ceremony Lawn provides stunning vistas of the surrounding acreage and tall grasses. The Little Tree offers a shadier site under the dancing foliage of wizened oak trees. The Biergarten is also available as an outdoor site for cocktail hour, post-ceremony mingling, and other intimate affairs. The Biergarten provides 1,500 square feet of outdoor space and comes with a concrete and steel bar, café tables, and access to the Main Hall.
The Main Hall is an ideal place for your Texas-chic ceremony. Boasting 3,000 square feet of space, full of windows that afford an abundance of natural sunlight, and featuring 15-foot high ceilings, this spacious all-white setting is totally configurable to your preferred color scheme or event design. The Main Hall accommodates up to 220 guests and also permits plenty of space for your band or DJ.
An additional option for indoor celebrations is the Breezeway, which is a breezy screened-in entry hall. While this reception site offers less space than the Main Hall, it provides a contemporary and breathtaking background for a memorable party, including floor-to-ceiling windows, and exposed white wood beams. This room is most ideal for an indoor ceremony or cocktail hour.
Luxury get-ready rooms are also available at this venue. Couples can enjoy private dressing rooms complete with their own powder rooms for pre-ceremony preparations. Additionally, a caterer’s kitchen is available, complete with a commercial sink, refrigerator, and freezer.

Simple & Elegant
We had our wedding at Prospect House in May, and it was absolutely perfect. We had been to so many venues and when I walked into Prospect House I knew it was the one. Something about it is so unique, and elegant. You can really turn the space into what you need and to fit most styles.Sent on 11/11/2019

Perfect Minimalist & Modern Venue
The moment we visited Prospect House, we knew we wanted to have our wedding at this venue. As a 'blank canvas' of sorts, it was the perfect size for our mid-sized gathering (~120 people), and it really fit our minimalist style, giving us the opportunity to decorate only what we wanted to, within our allotted budget. And Erich and Kathryn were absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire process! They answered all of our (many) questions up front, allowed us to visit the venue multiple times, and were so flexible in how we decorated and used the space.
I also want to note that with Texas’ unpredictable storm patterns, the fact that Prospect House has both indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces is such a stress-reliever. On the day of our wedding, we were caught off-guard by a lot of morning and afternoon sun (as we were expecting rain storms). While many vendors require setup details to be finalized within 24 hours of the ceremony, Erich's team gave us ample time to decide whether to setup the indoor or outdoor ceremony space on the day of our wedding. Within a few hours of the ceremony, we ultimately decided indoor would be safer, and the well-known bud vase wall served as a gorgeous backdrop for our nuptials. And good thing - because the rains and all the thunder came right before we said our "I Do's"!Sent on 07/19/2019

My husband and I couldn't imagine our wedding any where else. The moment we walked into Prospect House we were in love. As soon as I walked outside to the ceremony space I knew we had to have our reception at Prospect House. It was exactly what we wanted...a modern venue with beautiful surroundings. The only negative was that with our wedding of 134 guests the dining room did get hot. My day of coordinator did tell me the air was on as low as it could go. Her back up plan included bringing out several floor fans to help circulate the air. That helped a little. Overall our guests were having so much fun dancing and hanging out in the breezeway with the typewriter poet and Photo Booth that in the end no one really noticed the A/C problem. Everyone just wanted to keep the party going. I recommend this beautiful gem to everyone!Sent on 06/20/2018
A beautiful venue, we always enjoy serving drinks at Prospect House!
We absolutely love working at Prospect House! Not only is it easy & convenient to work at from a catering perspective given the large kitchen space, easy load-in access & potable water (a hot commodity in Texas hill country!) but also...it's simply gorgeous. We have catered several weddings at Prospect House & they were incredibly accommodating in letting us stage a styled wedding photo shoot there recently as well. As a person who has been helping others plan their weddings for 5-6 years, I will now be hosting my own at Prospect House! The juxtaposition of the thoughtful modern design set against the hill country backdrop is absolutely breathtaking & every little bit of comfort you need is on site (gorgeous dressing rooms, clever built-in bars, full sound system, fantastic rain plan option, etc.). Thanks for being awesome, Erich & Kathryn!
The Good people at Prosect House are real pros! The thought and care they have put into their venue is so impressive. We highly reccommend them for any big events and weddings.
