Being a musician/ entertainer for over 20 years, I have seen it all. Being an educator for almost 12 years, my life is devoted to connection and trying to make the world a better place one human at a time. Marrying the love of my life was the easiest decision I’ve ever made - and so was who to hire to DJ/MC our wedding: DJ Bishop. For years, I’ve seen this local legend work a crowd in a way that no one else ever has. His charm, high energy and compositional genius turn any great time into a party people never forget, into a collection of moments we never stop talking about. From our first conversation, I knew we were in good hands. His calm presence and sincere demeanor were exactly what we needed during the wedding planning process. He is so professional but simultaneously casual in a way that makes you feel like you’re talking to a lifelong friend as you plan the most beautiful day of your life. In all of my years as a professional entertainer, I can say with 100% confidence that this man has a gift that cannot be taught or replicated. His worth to any event is invaluable. The amount of praise we got from our friends and family wasn’t surprising at all and made us so thankful that someone so magical was getting the recognition that they deserve. DJ Bishop was an amazing DJ for our special day, and also beforehand. He worked with all of our needs/wants prior to the big day to make sure everything would be perfect, from the playlists to the timing. We actually got married on a day where it snowed and there was a playoff Eagles game. Not only did he make it there early with weather, he also made sure our guests stayed apprised of what was going on in the Eagles Game, but also lit up the venue Green when we won, while performing the Eagles Flight Song! He also provided us with a dog machine for our first dance, which was absolutely magical. DJ Bishops professionalism and talent made our wedding a day we will never forget! DJ Bishop was a crowd pleaser and was very interactive with the crowd. His energy was magnetic and enjoyed by all.

DJ Bishop, I met through my good friend and DJ who told me about Bishop. My first meeting was very professional and DJ Bishop showed care for me and my desires without pushing things I was not into. When things came up where I had to revise my songs or people, he was accommodating and flexible. He was punctual and entertaining from start to finish. From the setup at my chapel to arriving at the venue, he showed that his clients were the center of the day and made sure my husband and I were happy. He was approachable and friendly while always helpful.

We absolutely loved having DJ bishop as our hired DJ for our wedding party in Wildwood, NJ at Mudhen Brewing Co. We came across him as a recommendation from the events coordinator there, and looked into his style a bit and was sold. DJ Bishop was incredibly organized, helpful, creative, and accomodating for our party.

We had told him from early on that this would not be a typical wedding, and that our wishes/schedule may look a bit different. He was so respectful of this and still was the DJ that made everything flow so well in terms of announcements, music and engaging the crowd.

When we got to the venue ourselves that morning, DJ Bishop was way ahead of us, set up and already playing music/setting the mood to start out party for when guests arrived.

DJ Bishop took our "preferred songs" and not only played those, but incorporated and curated a great playlist for our party. We loved all the music he played and so did our guests! He also threw in some great line dances which my family and friends are a big fan of. He joined in on some of them as well! He is great at leading the crowd.

We HIGHLY reccomend DJ Bishop for any event, from birthday party to large wedding. We found that his prices were extremely reasonable as well in comparison to some other DJ's in the area and his flexibility to match our non traditional wedding celebration was extremely helpful.

My new husband and I both agreed that we have never had so much fun at a wedding in our entire lives!! We feel so absolutely lucky that it was ours!!! DJ Bishop had our guests GROOVING from our ceremony recessional to the very end of the night! We had guests telling us from the start of dancing and into the next day how much fun they had and that they haven’t had that much fun at any weddings before! We owe it all to DJ Bishop! We instantly clicked at our very first meeting and we had a blast planning the music together as we collectively geeked out over all of the playlist ideas! If I could leave him a thousand stars I would! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We left the wedding talking about “what party can we throw now to have DJ Bishop come?!” I could continue to write this for hours, but to sum up everything I want to say; SPECTACULAR!!!

DJ bishop is by far the best DJ ever! We’ve been 2 of his weddings and planned our wedding around his availability because he was so amazing. He kept the dance floor packed all night and we’re still getting texts and calls from our guests raving about him. Don’t even give it a second thought, book him!
