We chose Dean as our wedding photographer because he had done my sister and brother-in-law's wedding photos four years prior- not only had their photos turned out stunning, but Dean and ZoZo were an absolute pleasure to work with overall. It was such a memorable and impressionable experience that it was the reason we knew we wanted to work with him.

I can't express enough how highly our wedding party spoke about working with Dean, many of which said he was probably one of the best, more memorable photographers they've experienced at a wedding. That's something else you'll notice about working with him- he makes you feel comfortable. After we had our initial engagement session, my husband pointed it out right away. Standing up in previous weddings as a groomsmen and bridesmaid, sometimes it feels awkward posing and taking pictures in general because it's not something you do every day, and interactions and directions from a photographer can make a huge difference. Dean somehow keeps his energy at 110%- weekend after weekend of shooting weddings- smiling behind the camera and makes you feel comfortable and relaxed during the whole process.

When it comes to choosing your vendors on something as important as your wedding day, it's all about the little details they notice, the little gestures they'll make, and the little things that they'll do that show how invested they are in making your day a special one- I can honestly say Dean goes above and BEYOND when it comes to this. The morning of the wedding, he texted asking if we needed coffee or anything and comes prepared in case of any little emergencies that may come up. He captured so many beautiful candid moments of our family and wedding party and amazing little details that we love to go back and look at. Photographers work, but Dean WORKS HARD to capture some of most breathtaking shots of your venue, your church, and your wedding party. When we first got our photos back, there were so many photos my husband and I looked at and said "Wait, when did he get this shot?! How did he have time to get a shot of this?" But the most special, unique thing that he did that I've ever seen at a wedding was our final shot of the night. Dean cleared everybody out of our venue and once they left the DJ played one last song. My husband and I got to dance alone together in this beautiful empty space, just the two of us and he captured one of the most beautiful memories of our lives.

As a thank you gift to my sister and brother-in-law for standing up in the wedding, we bought them a family photoshoot for their soon to be family of three... with Dean's Photography. That's how much we love working with Dean! Dean and his fellow photographer helped capture my daughter and son-in-laws Hallmark wedding weekend in Michigan 2024! They were attentive to the couple’s and families requests to capture the perfect weekend with loved ones and friends! Dean was contracted to capture the rehearsal dinner (evening before), ceremony and reception at a remote Michigan manor estate. Dean was able to capture the perfect pictures as the day unfolded, he can read the room and collect all that is importance for such a special occasion to cherish for a lifetime!

Dean, Zozo, and his son went above and beyond to ensure our day was captured at every angle in the best ways possible. From the connection session, all the way to delivery, it was a very professional and friendly experience with Dean. They definitely show that they have 20+ years of experience. Dean and his team went above and beyond to scope out the location and surrounding areas for the best photos, sunset times, lighting etc. they were always busy working, understanding the schedule and where to be at what times, and capturing all of the day’s events even when we were busy getting ready. Dean will take a careful interest in you and your partner, understand your chemistry beforehand and then use that to drive the best shots on the big day. He’s also a lovely guy who genuinely loves photography and is responsive and great with customer experience.

The total price includes your connection/engagement photoshoot, photo booth, and wedding photography. We were able to pay in installments. Great photo quality and collaboration! The only suggestions for improvement would be for the photo booth pictures to be printed out for the guests on site.

When we started looking for photographers for our wedding, we had no idea what to look for, what questions to ask or expect. Dean was so easy to talk to and met with us virtually, to get to know is as individuals and as a couple. Our wedding was a bit unique with an early ceremony, a short lunch reception and a mobile pub crawl reception, and by the end of our consult we truly felt Dean was as excited for our wedding as we were. Dean cleared their schedule for us with 2 months notice, and built a package to our needs! They were super responsive and helpful with questions and when I failed as a Bride to get them our list of family pics, they knew exactly what pictures to get and guided us the whole way.
They exceeded their role as photographers, keeping us sane, fed (I will forever think of them whenever I eat MC’D french fries🤣) and having fun, while ensuring we remained calm and composed before the ceremony. They even joined us with all of their gear for the pub crawl, in the rain!!! This duo is the real deal, if I have one piece of advice as a bride, don’t skimp on your photography budget and make sure they vibe with your vibe, they are going to be by your side all day! Dean was so much more than our wedding photographer, he is forever our friend for life and a true blessing to us- direct words from my husband who would really prefer not being photographed lol!
