Katie Mallett was wonderful to work with from start to finish. I chose her after painstakingly looking at tons and tons of photographers and their portfolios. We did an engagement photo package with her in addition to the 8 hour wedding package. My fiancé and I aren’t super comfortable having our photos taken but her warm personality and skill (helping to pose us, helping us not look awkward) made us feel at ease in front of the camera. We loved our engagement photos so much that it was hard to choose favorites. When it came time to order prints I ended up just having every single one printed out since I couldn’t decide and loved them all. We just got our wedding photos back and they are everything we hoped for and more. She captured all of the special moments and emotions. The colors/lenses/angles she used made the photos looks so beautiful and professional. They are going to look so gorgeous when framed! Katie was also super helpful with creating our wedding timeline (definitely save yourself some stress and speak with her before trying to come up with the timeline on your own. She makes it so simple and knows how long everything should take so you can budget your time accordingly and figure out how many hours you need/what the exact timeline of the day should be). She was punctual and organized and set up several phone meetings beforehand to make sure every detail was discussed and set so we knew exactly what to expect on our wedding day. Day of it was almost like having our own event coordinator & photographer all in one. She kept us on track and made sure we had time to get all of the photos and events done that we wanted. She is patient, kind, relaxed, and fun to be around. You want your photographer to be all of those things since you spend so much time together on your special day! We ended up getting back over 1,000 photos and they were worth every penny. I’d choose her again over and over!

Katie went above and beyond for our surprise proposal/engagement session. From advice on what to wear, to recommending the best spots for the surprise shoot, Katie nailed it. We are very thrilled with our photos, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with Katie!

When we were deciding on a photographer, we knew we didn't want the standard "strike a pose" photography experience. We came across Katie's page and knew we wanted to hire her in an instant. Katie exceeded our expectations with what we wanted for our photos. Each photo captures the love between the people in the lens. Not only are her photos stellar she has your best interest at heart and will let you know if something needs to be adjusted (hair, makeup, train). She stays on schedule and plans for wiggle room if it's needed. We would hire her again in a heartbeat!

We met Katie at the Lake Lawn bridal show in 2020. She was in one of the reception rooms. We viewed her photos she had, fell in love with her editing skills, and overall appearance/style she used.

We booked Katie for our wedding, she included an engagement session which we used for Save the dates. She got some photos to us in advance, and ensured we were very happy with them before proceeding.

Our wedding day came and left so fast. Katie was amazing through our entire experience. She made sure we got all the combinations of photos we wanted, and all the extras as well. Letters to each other, ring box, stickers on our shoes, etc.

We got lucky and had a pretty solid timeline for our wedding day, but things were running early. Katie was able to get some photos of the bridal party before the ceremony, allowing more time for photos of my Wife and I after the ceremony. We loved that Katie was very informative, she always followed through on any questions or concerns very quickly.

Katie was very fluid on our wedding day, adapting to everything changing or moving, and theres nothing really bad to say about Katie. She was perfect for our wedding!
