David Hakamaki, your photographer, is a national speaker, mentor and trainer in the photography industry, as well as bestowed the degree of Photographic Craftsman (Cr. Photo.) by the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). He serves as a member on National Photographic “Dream Team”, Kubota Image Tools “Champions” and is a beta tester/product spokesman for numerous major photographic industry vendors. David has also been the featured speaker at numerous local, state, regional and national photography conferences and conventions, including multiple times (2013 - 2016) at the Wedding & Portrait Profession International (WPPI) convention.

David has won numerous awards and had multiple images published in several national magazines, including have been awarded the "Featured Wedding Photographer" 3 out of 4 years in Door County Travel Magazine. Cutting Edge Photography’s wedding images are the featured wedding images on the Door County home page, as well as the Wedding Social page.

Cutting Edge Photography is a Premier member of the Professional Photographers Association (PPA) and the Wedding and Portrait Professionals International (WPPI).
