Wedding Photography in Grand Haven

Summer Jean’s artistic compositions and skillful work are evident from first glance at her website. As soon as I looked through her gallery, my decision was made (Glad she was available!) Her photos of our big day are absolutely gorgeous. She captured elegant formal wedding photos, and also captured the fun side of our friends and family shots. Funny faces, dance floor shenanigans, you name it! It was all there. Elegant and goofy pictures, memories captured in a truly beautiful style. Additionally, the décor, flowers lighting, ceremony site all of the things that I didn’t have time to enjoy (as everything happened so fast!) was captured by Summer Jean’s lens in such a stylized gorgeous way. You have to see her photos to truly appreciate it! We can forever relive the big day through her photography. Lastly, her fun warm personality made her absolutely awesome to work with. I cannot imagine a better photographer to work with! Thanks Summer!

Our photos from Jenn Marie left me in awe. She captured our day in such a unique and artistic way. Every moment, form the small to the big, was captured in a very authentic light. She knows how to loosen up the camera shy, improvise and use the scenery around you and keep the day moving while never making you feel pressured. Because she's so personable and really takes the time to get to know you, you will walk away with a collection of images unique to you - not the same old shots you see on Pinterest. Jenn receives my absolute highest recommendation as a photographer and a person.

We were amazed at the quality of Craig's work, and he had to have been our easiest vendor to work with. We got married in Spring Lake, MI but live in Dallas, TX, so we had to rely on phone calls and email communication. But even though we only had one face to face meeting with him prior to our session, we felt as comfortable as could be. He offered us an engagement session and we considered flying him down to Dallas to do so, but time to do so just didn't work out. We asked him for a "quick" engagement session 5 days before our wedding when we got into town just to get a few shots to display at the wedding, and he willingly agreed. This "quick" session turned into 4 hours because he is the type of person that if he’s going to do it, he’s giving 100%. He also edited our photos, printed a few large prints for our ceremony and hand delivered them to our rehearsal the day before. Talk about going the extra mile. Craig handled the unexpected weather on our wedding day perfectly. He already had a covered plan B spotted out for our family pictures if it did rain (and it did) on our outdoor ceremony, and everybody agreed that his plan B location looked even better than our original location that we had picked out would have looked. Eventually, the rain let up and we captured great bridal party pictures on the beach and Grand Haven pier. Craig even insisted on staying a little longer than the agreed time period just to capture the special moment of the city’s festival fireworks that were shooting off 100 yards from us that night. It made for the best closing pictures. To put the cherry on the top, our wedding was chosen to be marketed as our venues “2012 Signature Wedding” in all of their publications and website. Thanks to the awesome work of Craig and all our vendors. I highly recommend Craig Watson Photography, you definitely get what you pay for. p.s. Lindsey was awesome too! ;)

Words can't describe how amazing Shelley is to work with. She went above and beyond our expectations. Everything was stress free and I couldn't recommend her more! She captured every moment and we got our pictures back extremely fast. The photos turned out top notch. Will definitely be using her in the future!

Trying to think of the most important thing I can say to someone considering Jamie May photography and the best advice I can give you is to just do it and thank me later! If she is available on your special day, get her booked before it’s too late. We booked Jamie May for our engagement shoot and wedding day and we have no regrets. Not one!! The shots she got are absolutely amazing. She was wonderful to work with and so nice to be around, especially during the getting ready portion of our wedding day. Jaime May is the easiest decision you will make in terms of a photographer with the highest quality work and just an overall pleasant, helpful and uplifting demeanor. Our wedding photos are incredible and the turn around time was so fast. She took so many photos and it’s so hard to choose which ones to print. I can’t say enough how fortunate we were to have her available on our special day.

Darren and Mandy are outstanding photographers and people. Their professionalism and quality of work were unmatched by any other photographers we spoke with. They went above and beyond for us throughout our entire wedding planning process, and were kind and patient throughout the entire experience. Their quality of work is also incredible. If you like what you see on their website, that is exactly what you will get. They are very consistent in their work. They don't just give you a handful of good photos. Each and every picture they take is as perfect as the last. They are also very open-minded and willing to hear your ideas. While we were shooting our engagement and wedding photos, they gave us ideas and also listened and did everything they could to make our ideas/visions come to life. We cannot recommend them enough. Choosing Darren and Mandy as our wedding photographers was the best decision we made. If photographs are important to you and are your favorite way of capturing memories, then Darren and Mandy are absolutely the photographers for you.

Cathy was wonderful. She went out of her way to make sure we would have the pictures we wanted.

I can't imagine a whole lot of things I enjoy less than a photo shoot, but Rachel made the wedding photo process quick and painless. Picture quality is amazing, her instructions are easy to follow, and she's very personable, able to deal with the quirky uncle or angry grandma. Highly recommend.

Brenda photographed our wedding in June 2021 and she was an incredible vendor to work with. She was so accommodating as we moved our wedding date and city due to covid and she was a trusted source on our wedding day. She made my husband and I feel so natural while taking photos and everything turned out incredible. The premiere appointment was amazing and it helped us relive our day. The photos she took far exceeded our expectations- they are stunning! On top of that, the heirloom album is truly incredible and will be something we cherish forever.
