I simply love photography. I love the artistic outlet it creates. I love the technical aspect. I love the challenges. Most of all though, I love capturing those moments and times in life that are so meaningful and can slip away in the blink of an eye. I love doing this for myself and for my family and I love capturing the love in the lives of others…those fleeting moments that later are cherished for generations. The love shown between others. The love of a family. The love between a couple. It is so fulfilling to do this from behind my lens...I've found it's such an effective way of capturing that emotion...and so many more.

I started loving photography when I got married in 1999. My passion for it grew and grew and I tried to learn everything I could...not because I had to but because I wanted to. I craved it. That has brought me to where I am today. I still crave that learning and my journey continues along that path. I am so grateful for this art form. I am a photographer because i love it. I love people. And I love the simple things in life that can be brought into focus through my lens.

I LOVE shooting weddings. I am in my twelfth year of shooting weddings...and still love it just as much as the first! My approach to shooting weddings is a somewhat photojournalistic method....I love capturing all of the beautiful details and candid moments that make up the day...getting ready, the special interactions between family members and friends, etc. With that being said however, I shoot the formal wedding pictures as well....for example, the full wedding party, family groups, etc. It's all about capturing everything that makes up your meaningful day....the details, the love, the guests and especially the love that you and your fiancé share. One of my number one goals is to capture your wedding in a way that portrays the emotion of the day.
