We worked with The Current Affair for our wedding this past weekend on 10/12/24. I'm not kidding when I say the band moved me to tears numerous times throughout the night, they were SO GOOD. Every person was dancing the entire night and numerous people got the bands cards at the end of the night for future events.

Working with them leading up to the event was also seamless and they were very responsive. We had 3 of the band members play at our cocktail hour too. We shared a Spotify playlist of what we wanted as a reference party but knew that they knew best in terms of getting people on the dance floor and thats what they did. They helped us throw the greatest party ever!

Thank you for the incredible entertainment at a 4th DeChello wedding!! You and your band bring it every time! The crowd loves you and we do too. Once you start playing the dance floor is packed until the end of the night and we are always requesting one more song!!
We made the right decision 6 years ago in hiring you for Nick and Alana’s wedding, 3 1/2 years ago for Jamie and Rick’s wedding, 1 1/2 years ago for Mike and Megan’s wedding and Saturday night for Christina and Aaron’s wedding!! Best decisions we made! No doubt in our mind that Current Affair makes the wedding!!

I don’t even know where to begin with John and Current Affair. I’m delayed in my review (married August 13th) but evenly almost two months out, we’re still on a MAJOR high from the wedding, primarily because of the music! So many little details of the day have become less important, but the part of the wedding we reminisce about most was the music - both the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We had seen the band perform at a friend’s wedding a year prior and were so impressed; I called John the following Monday. They were the first vendor we booked in the process, and honestly, the absolute best investment we made in this wedding. I’m a wordy person, and I don’t have the vocabulary to describe how incredible the band is - I’m talking Broadway talent (actually, not figuratively). We had a fun and wild group of guests, but you took it to the next level. We had to drag people out of the venue onto the bus kicking and screaming. People are still talking about it and asking us about the band 2 months later!

Onto the specifics, working with John (the band President) was a great experience start to finish. He’s responsive and nice, and he REALLY knows his sh*t when it comes to music. John is accommodating and patient (we had 7000 questions even a few days before). John has a variety of singers and musicians that are legitimately in Broadway productions and join the band off season or out of production. People knew who some of them were; it’s mind-boggling. My husband does music production on the side and he and his friends are very musically-oriented, and they were beside themselves with the quality of the band, so imagine what your average person would think of them!

We had a perfect day and an amazing ceremony, but the band all were the stars of the evening (alongside us ;)), and we could not be more impressed or grateful. Thank you for making our wedding the truly incredible experience that it was. I’m sure everyone feels that way about their own day, but this one takes the cake!!!

I cannot thank Current Affair enough! They played at my cousin’s wedding a year ago and I knew I had to book them for mine. Communication with John was effortless via email and phone calls. We had one guitarist play for cocktail hour. He not only is an exceptional guitarist but his vocals will blow you away at the reception. I told John I just wanted people dancing all night. I had no doubt they would deliver but they exceeded my expectations. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Each member of the band is uniquely talented, this allows them to cover all genres. They know how to keep the crowd engaged and on the dance floor. They do not stop playing the entire night. During dinner one singer did Bohemian Rhapsody. He walked around to different tables, everyone sang along and loved it. They played all of our requests and even learned Irish songs for us. My favorite memory was when the band was practicing our first dance song when my husband and I viewed the reception room. It felt so special because it was just the two of us enjoying a private moment after getting married. I received so many complements about the band and cannot recommend them enough.

Do yourself a favor and hire Current Affair for your wedding. They hands down made our wedding- they kept our guests dancing all night long. We had friends and family coming up to us all night telling us it was the best wedding band they’ve ever heard. On top of that, we asked them to play some pretty hard songs for our first dances and they NAILED it. They have a huge repertoire and the talent is insane. John who handles band logistics and MC is so nice and responds to emails immediately. Hire them- you’ll be so glad you did. They have our highest recommendation and we’re forever grateful.

Amazing band!! My family has hired them to play at numerous family affairs....always a pleasure to work with and all guests are on the dance floor! They are able to play from all genres which is great..there is something for all generations to listen to and dance to. Always willing to accommodate any music requests that you may have. Guests actually said that as soon as they saw that I hired the same band as past events, they knew my daughter's wedding would be an incredible celebration!! Run, don't walk, to book Current Affair...you and your guests will be so happy you did!!

This band is UNBELIEVABLE! I first saw them play at one of my best friend's weddings a few years back, so when it came time to choose a band for my wedding, I knew we had to look no further! John is exceptionally easy, friendly and helpful to deal with and every member of the band is an outstanding talent! The depth of musical variety is unparalleled, and they are FUN FUN FUN! We have been hearing non-stop from all of our guests that "this was the best wedding band they have ever seen!" I could not agree more. They even helped me with an unusual request for a Willie Nelson classic to honor my Dad who had passed, and they NAILED IT! I can say with absolute certainty you will NOT be disappointed in this band!

Our experience with John and his band was absolutely incredible! Words cannot describe how amazing they were. We are still receiving compliments from that night of how great the band was. Current Affair Music went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special! The singers voices are unbelievable and their talent is endless! Working with such a nice vendor really made the whole experience wonderful!

Hands down this is the best band I could have booked for my wedding. People were calling me weeks later saying how amazing they were, friends who could not attend were calling me telling me they heard how amazing the band was and they were so sad they weren’t there. I had a family friend tell me they made it the best wedding she had been to in 10 years. They can play anything and knew how to keep the party going. 200000000/10 would recommend
