Joe was so amazing to work with! We had several other interviews with different officiants but Joe by far made us feel the most comfortable/confident. He made the experience so personalized to us. He sent us readings and a general template but we were able to customize everything to suit us! It was simple and personal and extremely special. Joe is a lovely, reliable officiant and I would definitely recommend to anyone who is considering hiring him!

Joe was our officiant for our wedding and he was wonderful to work with. He was incredibly responsive, helpful and professional. We had a meeting with him before the wedding where he was able to meet us and learn our story to make the ceremony specific to us as a couple. He had tons of additional reading options to help add to the ceremony. He sent us a script of the ceremony and allowed us to make any changes to make it perfect for us. Day of, he was perfect for the ceremony. You can tell how experienced he is. He had his own speaker setup that allowed all of our guests to hear the ceremony. He helped put us at ease with all of the chaos of the day, making sure the certificate paperwork was filled out properly and getting it to the courthouse ASAP. I'm incredibly happy Joe was our officiant and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant in the Southern Maryland area.

From our first meeting with Joe, we knew he was the right choice to officiate our wedding. The process of planning and writing our ceremony, with Joe's good humor and professional knowledge of wedding ceremonies throughout, ended up being a fun and memorable part of wedding planning. Joe provided an excellent draft ceremony based on our discussion during our meeting, and we were able to request some revisions and readings custom to us. Joe efficiently walked our wedding party through our rehearsal and on the day of our wedding showed up early and prepared. Joe was attentive and pleasant, offered great suggestions and catered to make our ceremony specific to us. He dressed very well and was great for casual conversation before and after the ceremony; no awkward moments here!

I was in desperate need of an officiant because all the ones my venue recommended were busy but it was a blessing because Joe was great! He was professional and easy to talk to. He helped make my ceremony as personalized as I wanted from what he wore to what type of ceremony (civil, religious, etc.) to what verses were read. The guests all told me how great the ceremony was after. He helped with the rehearsal and made the ceremony perfect. He is also very affordable. Highly recommend.
