Court House Square
About
Court House Square is a historic ballroom for couples’ weddings in the greater Seattle, Washington area. At this vintage city venue, couples will find a ballroom space with high ceilings and impressive windows overlooking the Port of Tacoma and Mt. Rainier. This venue is located just 15 minutes from Point Defiance Park, roughly 35 minutes from downtown Seattle.
Facilities and Capacity
Couples can celebrate their wedding with up to 150 guests at Court House Square. This venue includes two indoor spaces couples can use for their wedding. The first is the Ballroom. This bright and historic room was originally a Federal court room, but has since been remodeled to welcome weddings and events. It now features rows of pendant lights in a tray ceiling in addition to recessed lighting. Windows that stretch nearly from the floor to the ceiling occupy one wall of this space, while geometric patterns of neutral-colored squares decorate the other three. Hardwood floors add a polished sophistication to this wedding space. The second space couples can use in this venue is the Gallery. Boasting just as much history as the Ballroom, the Gallery is a former post office warehouse. This bright space also features high ceilings and large windows. The windows in the Gallery have arced tops and are bordered by dark wood. The chandeliers hanging from the ceiling--and dripping with crystals — include LED light bulbs, a feature which allows them to dim according to the mood of the night.
Services Offered
This ballroom invites couples to celebrate many different wedding events on its property, including bridal showers, ceremonies, engagement parties, and receptions. The venue provides event rentals for the wedding, including tables, chairs and audio equipment. Couples can relax in a bridal suite onsite while event staff assists with setup and cleanup. Event planning services before the wedding arrives helps couples keep track of all the details and find the best options for their celebration, from dinner to decor. Lighting and sound services are provided for a wedding, and couples and guests alike will delight in the available wireless Internet.

Beautiful for courthouse weddings, and the rooftop is so dreamy for photos.

Beautiful venue in downtown Tacoma. Mitchell is great to work with and constantly keeps us updated on events needs and timelines.
