Emelie and the entire Corcoran team are true professionals and we can not recommend them more highly! We truly felt the investment and joy she had in supporting our wedding.

We were very particular about our catering company selection and chose Corcoran after comparing three companies. It was one of the best decisions we made. We wanted a dinner that reflected our cultural backgrounds, served in a more convivial atmosphere than a plated dinner, and wanted to serve something different than typical wedding fare. Emelie was more than up for the task; she worked closely with us across many menu tweaks, corresponding with us via email and phone for months until we settled on a menu that we loved. She was also very cheerful, patient, and creative in problem-solving.

We also benefited from Emelie being an expert in working at our venue. She acted as a consultant and advised us on many decisions surrounding event logistics like bar placement.

On the day itself, the wedding food was as good as we remembered during our tasting. Our guests raved about the food, with many couples saying the food did not taste or look like "wedding food" which was high praise! Emelie and the Corcoran team took special care of us, with our signature drinks and appetizers brought to us as we decompressed post-ceremony.

I truly can't recommend Corcoran Caterers enough! They were really easy to work with and very responsive throughout the entire planning process. They were patient when we made menu changes, provided suggestions/recommendations at our tasting and rentals meeting, attentive to our needs, and were very prepared for our final walkthrough. They frequently cater at our venue which was really helpful since we could ask them a ton of questions and they always knew the answer :) On top of this, they went above and beyond for us day of by sending someone to their office to get batteries because the ones we had for our polaroid camera for our guest book died as guests were coming in for the ceremony and we didn't have backups. I mean, who does that?! Lastly, several of our guests told us that our wedding had the best food of any wedding they've ever attended :) We worked with Sam and Emelie and they were amazing. You're in the most capable (and delicious) hands with the Corcoran team.

We are grateful for everything Corcoran did for us on our wedding day a few weeks ago! We were so lucky that they totally got the vibe we were going for and were so encouraging! We wanted a lot of color and pattern. We worked with Jordan who helped us pick toile table cloths and various napkin colors. I was beyond pleased with the final product. It was a great experience collaborating and picking out the rentals with Corcoran.
They were so responsive and flexible with menu changes and all. We had a fully vegetarian and sober wedding. We loved our gallette, salad, and soup! So many guests shared the same feedback! And everyone was pleased with our mocktails. Jordan was even game to have us offer chocolate milk in champagne flutes! What more could you ask for?!

It is hard to find the words to express how wonderful the Corcoran team made our wedding day! We had the pleasure of working with Emelie in the 18 months leading up to our wedding day. She asked fantastic questions for us to communicate our vision, and from her very first proposal she absolutely nailed what we were looking for. I was so impressed with menu creativity and flexibility. Together we crafted a completely custom, full service menu from signature cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres, all the way to late night bites and a full dessert spread. Emelie was so responsive, personable, and accommodating of multiple change requests over a long planning process. She also seamlessly handled our furniture rentals from multiple rental companies.

Now the day of, the Corcoran team was so impressive. From the quality of the food to the exceptional staff, everything was absolutely first class. The second we walked out of our ceremony recessional, Emelie was there offering her congratulations with signature cocktails and our own tray of hors d'oeuvres - which were incredible. I had many friends tell me they were crowding the door where the catering staff was coming from with hors d'oeuvres because they were so excited to try each new option that arrived! Everything was delicious, even more delicious than our tasting, and the portions were incredibly generous. We received so many compliments from our guests on the food specifically!

The Corcoran team orchestrated the dinner reception of our dreams. We had a plated dinner with seamless service. My husband and I even saw the team practicing the coordinated entree drop during cocktail hour. It was evident that they take delivering a high quality event very seriously! We felt so well taken care of with the Corcoran team. From day 1 of planning to ending our wedding night with a lovely box of cake and desserts that we were too busy dancing to eat at the wedding, they really think of everything and make your wedding day feel so bespoke for you.

Corcoran might be the best caterer in the DMV! First and foremost, their food is delicious. We tried 3 different caterers for our wedding, and Corcoran was by far the best. Their recipes and quality of ingredients are top notch. They have plenty of menu options, but are also willing to customize dishes to create exactly what you want.

Furthermore, ALL of the staff are professionals, from waiters to bartenders. They were efficient, polite, pleasant, and constantly checking in on us. At one point one of the bartenders saw me empty handed and brought a mojito directly to me (which he knew was my favorite drink). While they are not cheap, you know you are getting top quality food and service. Multiple guests commented on the food and service.

Our favorite part of working with Corcoran was Jordan, our point of contact/event planner. Jordan was amazing. She was so thorough, thoughtful, communicative, and organized. We felt like we were in excellent hands. Thank you so much Jordan and the rest of the Corcoran team!!!

We had a great experience working with Corcoran and can’t recommend them enough. Everyone on the staff who we interacted with was kind, professional, and helpful, but Sam, our main contact, was the star of the show. From the beginning of the process she was open and helpful in walking us through every part of the catering and how it interacted with the other parts of the event. She was patient when we changed our mind about various details and was always happy to advise us on various choices while still leaving final preference-based decisions to us, like what beer to serve. Not only was the Corcoran team great in the planning stage, they also knocked it out of the park with their execution. The food was delicious, from the appetizers to the main course to the desserts, and we got compliments from several guests on the food. The catering team was really efficient and served everything on time, too. We really enjoyed the tasting, so we were really happy that the food on the main event ended up being just as delicious, even though the volume was way higher (a 140 person outdoor wedding)! We highly recommend working with Corcoran – they took all the worry out of the catering process and were a huge part of making our wedding such a success.

We hired Corcoran Caterers for our wedding in April 2025 and can not recommend them enough for anyone who is looking for a caterer that will go above and beyond. They are amazing at what they do!
We love food and we wanted our wedding to feel like an intimate dinner party we were throwing for our friends and family which made the food integral to the overall feel and meaning of the event. To this end, we wanted to customize the hors d'oeuvres, the reception dinner, and the cocktails to create a whimsical feeling where our guests were delightfully surprised with every dish and drink they would come across.
From the start, Emelie made us feel at-home and took all the pressure off of us. She has a true passion for food and was an excellent collaborator throughout the whole process. She provided us with an excellent starting point and made on-point suggestions to improve the feel of every dish. Her attention to detail with the table settings, ingredient choices on the dishes and the planning of the operational flow of the event was remarkable.
The day of the wedding, the food was amazing and the service was above and beyond. When dinner was being served, the entire waitstaff would come and line up around the tables and serve the dishes at the same exact time. We were frequently checked on to make sure that we were well-fed and had everything we needed. They made it seem like things were just magically refilling themselves throughout the evening. They made sure that everyone was happy.
Two months after the wedding, our friends and family are still raving about how tasty the food and the drinks were. Do yourselves a favor and hire Corcoran Caterers for your event. If we had another wedding tomorrow, we would 100% want to work with Emelie and the Corcoran team again.
