We hired Colette's when we had our wedding at The Muckenthaler Mansion since they are the exclusive caterer to the venue. We worked mostly with Sara, who was absolutely wonderful and was able to answer any questions we had. We wanted brunch for dinner at our wedding, and worked with her to make a menu for our tasting. At our tasting, we worked with Duane. It was so hard to pick what we wanted because everything was so delicious! On our wedding day, we unfortunately had food poisoning from my mother-in-law's cooking, so we didn't get to taste the food. However, our guests raved about how delicious the food was, how great the open bar was, and the staff. I would definitely hire Colette's again since they were such a joy to work with.

We had 6 months to plan the wedding and the first and most important decision was the venue. After visiting many locations in OC and LA, we chose Colette's Catering and the Muckenthaler. Without a doubt, we know we made the best decision for us. The location was ideal - as it was central for our guests from all over Southern CA - (IE, OC, and LA). The venue itself is classic, beautiful and incredibly versatile. Its a true "all-in-one" venue to hold different wedding events, we moved our guests seamlessly to each new area - from the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, to dancing. Also, my favorite, was working with Duane and his team. He was incredibly responsive, friendly, warm, and efficient - he has a ton of experience and made the usually stressful process, much more easier for us. He was accommodating to many of my requests and I was impressed that he replied to my emails personally and in a timely manner. Last, but not least - THE FOOD! It really was so delicious. Our guests enjoyed it all- I received compliments from the cake, the steak, the veggie sides, even the salad dressing! OH and the bartenders were amazing. They were incredibly generous and kept the drinks flowing, which made for a very festive time indeed! Overall, we had a great time working with Duane and his team. From the beautiful venue, the professionalism, the flexibility, and quality service and food, we are so thankful that we chose the Muckenthaler.

Duane and Sara are just great! My husband and I got married on 3.8.15 at the muck, And Colette's was just great. They were very helpful through the process, making my husband and I feel special for our big day. They were also very patient with us as we asked many questions. Sara was great as our day of coordinator, she was keeping us on schedule, made sure everything was running smoothly with the vendors, and most importantly made sure we ate. The food was also fantastic. We were told by nearly everyone how it was such a great wedding, the best they've been to, and the drinks and food were amazing, "not typical wedding food." Duane and Sara are just great, and made our vision come to life. Highly recommend!

My husband and I just got married at muckenthaler mansion with Colette's catering last weekend. We had a 6 month engagement and Colette's made everything happen so smoothly. It was the perfect day!!! Duane, Sara and Andrea where amazing!!! I honestly can't say enough nice things about them!!! Also the food and cake was delicious!!! Multiple guests came up to us and said how it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The whole experience was a dream come true!!!!!!! ❤️

Wow! Wow wow wow wow wow. There are not enough words in the English dictionary to describe how wonderful the staff is at Colette's. The owner, Mr. Greenleaf is a profoundly kind and calming person. Because of Colette's, I went into my wedding day with 100% confidence that I would have a seamless wedding. Not only did they deliver, they went above and beyond to check on me and my husband throughout the evening to ensure we were cared for and happy. I not only recommend Colette's, I look forward to the next opportunity to work with them in the future. The most bittersweet moment about our wedding was knowing that we wouldn't get to work with these fine people in the next months to come. Thank you Colette's and the Muckenthaler for the most dream-like and romantic wedding I have ever seen!

We met with Colette's at least 10 months before our daughter's wedding on October 12, 2013. We sampled the food, made our choices, and found everything presented and sampled extremely delicious. We wanted a sit down dinner for 156 guests at an outdoor venue. My (MOB) pet peeve is lukewarm or cold food. I made sure Colette's knew my concerns. And, I can happily and confidently say that Colette's served our filet mignon dinner, to 150 plus guests on a cool October evening, hot! Not only was the food hot, but it was excellent! We had several guests tell us that they were blown away by the fact their meals were hot and delicious. Colette's delivered what they promised! The staff was excellent also. They were professional and friendly. We could not have asked for a better experience with a catering company. If and when I ever need to have an event catered again, I will definitely use Colette's Catering.

For our food tasting we were essentially served an entire meal! Duane and the chef brought us each serving but not in little tiny bites, full servings of them so we could really try them and see what we liked. I'm happy to report that the food at the wedding was as good as the food we tried at our tasting. I've heard stories from other brides who felt the food they had at their tasting was way better than what was actually served at their wedding. Not the case for us! I had so many people say it was the best wedding food they'd ever had! I agree!! Also, the cake was fantastic! We had a spice cake with cream frosting and so many people came up to us and said it was the best wedding cake they'd had! Simply delicious! Also, I wanted to surprise my groom with a fun groom's cake and they were wonderful to work with to create a life-size Cincinnati Reds baseball cap. My husband was so surprised and LOVED the cake! It looked just like a baseball cap and all our Ohio guests were impressed with the details Colette put into the cake! It was really cute AND delicious (red velvet cake inside). I highly recommend Colette's Catering--they were a dream team to work with!

Our cake was included in the hotel package from the Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa. We went to Colette's and actually had our meeting with Colette, the owner. I was really surprised and impressed. Everything we tasted was fantastic! We went with Vanilla cake and Vanilla bean frosting. We had a picture of the cake we wanted and they did a great job recreating it! I want to go back every year and have them recreate a little cake, so we can have it on our anniversary. We froze the cake and ate it on one month of being married and it was still delicious! (I had heard if you wait until your one year anniversary the cakes get really gross and taste like cardboard and I wanted to eat my cake!)
