The vineyard sits on Adventure Farm, family owned and operated by the Chisholms since 1950. Both are managed by the 3rd and 4th generations, who uphold the stewardship begun by E. Morris Chisholm. A multitude of grape varietals are grown, including Chardonnay, Viognier, Chambourcin, Petit Verdot, Tannat, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. We produce small lot wines of superior quality made with 100% estate grown fruit.
Through our family history and our connection to the land, through our desire to make the best wine that is true to the terroir, we share our hopes and our dreams with you. We welcome you to create your own story while visiting the Tasting Room, experiencing our estate grown wine in our bucolic setting. My husband and I originally wanted a backyard wedding, but our original venue fell through - 2 months out. Finding Adventure Farm truly saved our big day! Jenny, the manager, worked with us to make sure we had everything we needed and was very flexible and accommodating of our needs. Since there was no designated catering list, we were able to hire a food truck to come out and everyone loved it. We did need to get the wine through the Farm's winery but it was delicious and certainly worth the cost. (The rose was particularly tasty!) On the day of, everything went perfect, even though it rained. We listened to Jenny's advice and got a tent, and there were other covered areas like the tasting room and dance floor that people could use as well. We had about 65 people show and there would have easily been space for 20 more. I wouldn't change a thing!Sent on 08/08/2016
