Conveniently located just outside of Chapel Hill, North Carolina our private venue, surrounded by enchanting woods offers an experience you and your guests will never forget. With acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, luscious gardens, and serene ponds, the Carriage House offers a picturesque setting for your wedding. Our recently revised 2022 Wedding Package includes the following amenities:
2024 CHCH Wedding Package - $8600
Beautiful open-air barn that allows you and your guests to enjoy the grounds throughout the entire event (6 hour maximum).
Ceremony site of your choosing from various locations on the grounds.
Bridal Suite with full bathroom and plenty of space for hair and makeup.
Groom’s Lounge with refrigerator, big screen tv, foosball table, and pool table.
Event Specialists to help plan your event from start to finish.
Expert event coordination including assistance with outside vendors for beauty, cake, linens, photography, live music, officiants, lodging, transportation and more.
Parking attendants to help facilitate parking and welcome your guests with general information about your event.
Setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, and benches.
28 tables of various sizes
150 white padded resin chairs
20 white benches
Alpaca and llamas available for photos with guests during cocktail hour.
Yard games - corn hole, ladder golf, hula hoops, putting green with golf balls and putters, Connect 4, Checkers, and Giant Jenga.
Lighting of lantern candles at sunset.
Outdoor fireplace that can be lit and maintained by staff.
Access to various wedding accessories including but not limited to lanterns, signage, vases, shepherd hooks, wooden stumps, and various wooden tables.
Use of our climate-controlled, upscale bathroom trailer that offers comfortable stalls on the women's side and a stall and urinals on the men's side with running-water sinks on both. Operated by Prissy Pot.
Additional Information
Final guest count limit is 150 guests.
DJ’s and caterers must be pre-approved before hiring.
Setup time is included in the wedding package and must be arranged prior to the event. This is separate from the 6 hour event time.
Music must stop at 10 pm Noise level will be monitored to be in compliance with local ordinance.

The best wedding
We had multiple guests saying this was the best wedding venue they had ever been to. There’s something for everyone between the lawn games, dance floor, beautiful grounds etc. Brenda, Tiffany and everyone who works here made everything run incredibly smooth and are so kind. We lucked out with getting married here.

Beautiful venue
This is a beautiful spot that feels completely secluded from the rest of the world. The space was warm and welcoming, and the nature walk was a delight - goats, llamas, and alpacas! I highly recommend!

Attended women’s retreat
Enjoyed the venue for this event! I had gotten lost trying to find it and called to say I was lost and the person answering gave me excellent directions. It was very nice to be outside and to walk around on the beautiful property during the breaks. I liked that the beverage station was close by to get a refill and easy access to the restrooms.

Genuinely kind staff
This venue had so much unique charm and was breathtaking inside and out. We visited during Fall and I felt like I was in the mountains with how quiet and peaceful the property was.

It's like a mountain retreat!

The Perfect Venue
There are too many fantastic things to write about this venue! We could not be more thrilled about our choice in wedding venue. The entire grounds are absolutely stunning, and all of our guests continue to talk about how beautiful it was (even though it was a rainy and overcast day). The animals are spectacular and provide such a fun experience for both us and the guests. We love the goats, llamas, and alpacas so dearly! The planners and people that help for the wedding are all fantastic. However, the real star of the show is Brenda, the venue owner. Her and her husband are truly some of the best people we have ever met. Brenda is so generous, helpful, and caring about the people that choose to get married at her venue. She continues to improve the venue even though it is already perfect, and has tons of options for decor and table settings that she encourages people to use. She has been beyond kind to us throughout this whole process, and we see her like family now! We absolutely love Chapel Hill Carriage House and everything that comes along with it. We cannot recommend this venue more! If we could get married there every year, we would.

Amazing wedding venue
I can’t say enough about how wonderful the chapel hill carriage is! My now husband Greg found it during our initial venue search. Brenda, the owner, was able to give us a tour right away and we new it was the place for us. If you’re looking for a venue that is gorgeous without adding a thing this the place. We were able to have both the ceremony and reception there, which cuts down on logistics and gives more time for fun. We were supposed to get married in 2019, but we all know what happened. Brenda was great, she allowed us to move our date to 2020. They have a beautiful “chapel” area, and then the lawn party area is set up with games like cornhole, outdoor jenga, putting green complete with putters and balls, and hula hoops (even our Dads were doing it). The venue runs like a well oiled machine, but you feel like family through the process. Our guests said it was the most fun wedding they’d been too. Would highly recommend! And I almost forgot you can have Abraham Lincoln, the llama, join the cocktail hour.

Chapel Hill Carriage House is the perfect outdoor venue offering several sites for the perfect wedding ceremony and covered pavilion for the reception. The owners consistently exceed expectations in ensuring the wedding party and especially the bride and groom experience the wedding of their dreams. Just minutes out of down town Chapel Hill, easy access, plenty of parking, an outstanding and helpful staff ... all make for an unforgettable event. I highly recommend contacting the Leapers for a consultation!
