We hired Chandai as our wedding coordinator about 9 months before our recent 9/2024 wedding. My only regret is we didn’t get her on our team much earlier for more full service planning! By the time we were looking at coordinators, we had already booked our major venues (venue, catering, DJ, photo, etc), but for everything that we had not yet booked (such as guest transportation, video, florals) she guided us to the right people who made our day perfect! She honestly did so much more than I would have expected from a coordinator, helping us make ceremony pamphlets, wedding signage, and attending vendor meetings after hours. She was able to manage last minute changes seamlessly like unexpected guests and missing party favors. On the day of, I got to be in the moment and enjoy the day, which is truly what I am most grateful for. Definitely do not hesitate to hire her for any of your event planning needs!

Working with Chandai was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We were organizing a large (~400 person) Indian wedding in NY, and were looking for a planner who both had experience in the area and an approach that would be customized for us. Chandai and her team offered both and more, from the start of planning to the execution of the last event.

We hired Chandai ~10 months before our wedding, because we wanted a planner who would help us from start (venue searching, vendor searching, etc.) to finish (day-of execution). We had a multi-day Hindu wedding, with events starting at home during the wedding week followed by a Sangeet, wedding ceremony, and reception.

Chandai was the glue that held all the planning together. The planning was happening between folks in NY and CA, and all the while it ran seamlessly using Zoom, phone calls, and texts - and all because Chandai truly made herself available to us at any time. From the start of the process, Chandai kept us calm and organized - her years of experience with not only wedding planning, but also specifically in the Northeast region, allowed us to figure out the best plan of action. Her list of contacts is far-reaching, from vendors to new, fun guest experiences to potentially include. Even though she did have these contacts, Chandai always made sure we were making the final decisions and worked with some vendors we chose independently. This made clear she was the right choice for us; she made the process personalized rather than imposing any vendors on us.

Throughout the process, Chandai brought a kind, excited, and happy energy any time we spoke - this REALLY elevated the planning experience, which got stressful at times. But every time I had a worry or concern, Chandai helped me with it and her positivity always got me excited for the wedding once again. For each of our ideas, she offered suggestions of how we could elevate or add unique touches - this made clear what a creative and thoughtful planner she is, making sure our wedding would be the best it could be. She kept us extremely organized throughout the process, and as our wedding got closer she put together timeline documents for us to follow to make sure we knew the exact schedule of events. What's more, she coordinated the contracting, scheduling, and dispersion of this timeline with all the vendors, alleviating a lot of that work for us.

Any time we needed something - a cheaper dance-floor wrap option, someone to tent our backyard for a home event, even a babysitter for one of the close family members - Chandai was able to offer us many options. She made the whole process not only efficient but fun/creative for us, which really makes her stand out. She clearly took a personal investment in the success and experience of our wedding.

During the wedding weekend, everything ran SEAMLESSLY. We had to shuttles 100s of guests from the hotel to each venue, and her team made sure this was done on time. Many guests and family members told us how wonderful her team was, making sure guests were kindly told where to go/be at all times. This also makes her and her team stand out - at the end of the day, the wedding was mostly about the guest experience and her team clearly prioritized this. They were punctual, efficient, and incredibly organized. For our Sangeet night, the venue had to be moved indoors last minute due to inclement weather. Chandai streamlined this change with all the vendors, and some of her team members even went to help the decorator make sure everything would be perfect before guests arrived. None of the guests could even tell the venue was switched - in fact, we received so many compliments on the event and how well it was planned!

Overall, working with Chandai was the best decision we made for our planner - she became a part of our family, made sure everything ran smoothly, and kept our emotions in check. I am SO glad we invested in her as our planner, cannot recommend her & her team enough to future couples!!!

Loved this coordination team! We had Chandai Events for "the day of" & they were beyond exceptional. Through stress times they comforted us and also ensured our itinerary remained on point! Chandai and her team were on top of everything and honestly, there were no hiccups.
Chandai did an amazing job with finalizing our timeline, offering sound advice on scheduling from her experience, and were so helpful to me and my family. Chandai kept us laughing throughout the whole waiting time in our bridal suite.
