We worked with Anjella for floral decor for our baraat, Hindu ceremony, lunch, and cocktail hour/reception. She was so responsive and worked with us as we ironed out the many details of our wedding weekend. We met for an initial consultation, and she worked with our colors and our vision to create absolutely stunning floral designs and decor. I could not believe the transformation as I walked into the ballroom as the Florista Decor team was preparing for the ceremony. We went back and forth with her to find the designs, scheduling, and budget that would work on both ends. The centerpieces were absolutely beautiful, and the decor tied everything together. We send photos of our vision for the mandap, and what they designed was beyond what we had even imagined! During the reception, they set up a beautiful stage and backdrop that were perfect for photos and to create the elegant evening that we had envisioned. Anjela and the Florista team were an absolute pleasure to work with and really helped turn our vision into reality! She took the time to sit with us and go through our ideas and give honest feedback on what she thought would work well. We had a very particular vibe and design in mind for our mandap and for our reception and while other decorators told us that it would be impossible within our budget, Anjela found a way and executed it to perfection. We would highly recommend Florista to anyone looking for stunning event decor!

We used Florista for our blended wedding mandap and it came out better than imagined! We had an outdoor set up, and all of our guests were completely blown away by how gorgeous everything was. Anjella totally understood our vision and what we were looking for and brought it to life!

Florista Decor was the perfect vendor for our wedding weekend decor! I met with Anjella earlier this summer where we spent almost two hours discussing the different visions for the three wedding events - Mehndi, Shaadi, Valima. I wanted each date to be unique but have the feel. Anjella was so patient and kind when listening to me talk about my vision for the days. She provided thoughtful and helpful feedback and we worked together to create beautiful centerpiece, stage and misc decor for each event. Every wedding has a budget and Anjella was very helpful in providing suggestions for us to stay within our budget.

Leading up to the event Anjella and I met a few more times to finalize details. Anjella even took the time to meet with my mother and mother-in-law to finalize the decor. Our Valima stage was one that we created from my vision, Anjella very kindly mocked up the stage in the weeks prior to our event so we would know what the stage would look like. Leading up to our events, I had absolutely no reservations that everything would go flawlessly.

During our wedding events, the team at Florista arrived at the venue well in advance to make sure that everything was set up perfectly! I actually did not see the decor until I walked into the venues to make my entrance. Everything for all three events was absolutely stunning. I was most impressed with how Anjella and her team completely transformed the hotel conference room into a colorful and vibrant backdrop for our Mehndi.

Anjella was an absolute joy to work with at all three of my events -- Sangeet, Wedding ceremony and Reception. I am no Pintrest bride and she managed to take my random thoughts and deliver a perfectly executed vision. Her professionalism also set my mind at ease and I felt I could leave the decor to her and focus on enjoying my special day.

For my Sangeet, I wanted a relaxed cocktail vibe with just the right amount of Indian accents and that is exactly what I saw when I walked into the ballroom. She worked with me on the floor plan to accommodate the various entertainments we had (Photobooth, Jazz band, and mehndhi benches for my friends to get henna done). Even with all the different things going on the room and decor all flowed together and guests had an opportunity to mingle and party before our big day.

I picked the Bronx Zoo for our wedding and reception venue and they had never hosted a full-on Indian/Hindu ceremony (along with all the unique challenges that poses -- Havan kund, mandap, baraat) before. Still, Anjella handled it with aplomb. After an initial meeting and doing her research reviewing photos and the zoo map, she completed a site visit with us and worked hand in hand with the zoo team to learn the dos and donts of decorating at a working zoo (no small feat!). Anjella was able to listen to my preferences and turn my vision into reality, highlighting the natural features and architectures of the zoo. Our guests can't stop talking about what a unique experience it was to have a zoo wedding and the Zoo Center (Modeled after a European palace), Rockafeller fountain, and sea lion pool, accented by Anjella's decorating prowess provided stunning backdrops for our ceremony, baraat and cocktail reception.

Absolutely amaaaazzzzzzing! I recently got married, and planned my engagement and wedding through florista décor. Obviously, I loved what an incredible job they did at the engagement and then went on to hire them for the wedding. Anjella who is the owner, is such a sweetheart, she went above and beyond on what I wanted on my wedding. It was the most perfect set up, there wasn't one thing she didn't do correctly. I planned the entire wedding with her from another state, and was only able to meet up once person in person. She was able to relax me, and I had full confidence in her abilities. Days after the wedding, people asked me who did the event set up, from the stage and decorations. They said it was timeless and so impeccably done. Thank you Anjella!

We really enjoyed working with Anjella throughout the planning process. She was extremely helpful and was exceptional in executing our vision. What we really liked about Anjella was that she was very honest and direct with us. She told us what would look good and what didn’t, and was willing to help brainstorm with us as well. In addition, because we were planning our wedding from DC while she is based in NY/NJ, she was always willing to get on the phone and talk through ideas with us, show us pictures over FaceTime, etc., which we really appreciated (and a lot of this was while she was pregnant/taking care of a newborn!). Florista also did our garba décor and we received amazing feedback. Our venue was a little bare, and Anjella’s team just did an amazing job to add color to the room and help create a very vibrant atmosphere. Our wedding mandap turned out beautifully – and our ceremony was outdoors. Our reception décor was simple and elegant – which is exactly we had requested. At the same time, we had asked for a lot of candles and think we had a different vision in mind with the stage because it felt a little bare when we saw it that day. Ultimately though, with Florista, clients can find a nice balance between affordability and quality décor for weddings.
