  Beautifully Done!

  Florista Decor did a phenomenal job with their decor for our wedding and reception! The team beautifully transformed our venue into a mesmerizing dream. Florista was able to bring our vision to life, even incorporating elements from the venue so beautifully. From the gorgeous fresh floral arrangements, elegant drapery, to all of the gold elephants, every detail reflected their artistic flair. The use of traditional components, intricate mandap designs, and modern elements added an authentic touch that wowed all our guests. We were in utter shock at how creatively and organically everything was brought together, more than we imagined. Florista went above and beyond, turning our dream wedding into a reality with their creativity and meticulous execution. The team was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we highly appreciate their flexibility and help throughout the entire process. Thank you Florista Decor for showcasing your commitment to making our day uniquely ours! Highly recommend!!!

  Super easy to work with!

  I had the best experience working with Anjella & the Florista Decor team. As someone who was uncertain/naive on exactly the type of decor I was looking for, Anjella helped create and my vision to light. She is professional and has wonderful ideas based on the venue and budget you are working with, and managed to make both my wedding ceremony and reception decor look absolutely magical.
  
  Also with Anjella, you can count on her to always be responsive and will clearly address all of your questions and needs since the very beginning.
  
  All of our guests and families loved everything the Florista Decor team put together and it really did become a beautiful event because of this team!

  We worked with Anjella for floral decor for our baraat, Hindu ceremony, lunch, and cocktail hour/reception. She was so responsive and worked with us as we ironed out the many details of our wedding weekend. We met for an initial consultation, and she worked with our colors and our vision to create absolutely stunning floral designs and decor. I could not believe the transformation as I walked into the ballroom as the Florista Decor team was preparing for the ceremony. We went back and forth with her to find the designs, scheduling, and budget that would work on both ends. The centerpieces were absolutely beautiful, and the decor tied everything together. We send photos of our vision for the mandap, and what they designed was beyond what we had even imagined! During the reception, they set up a beautiful stage and backdrop that were perfect for photos and to create the elegant evening that we had envisioned. We were so thrilled with our experience with Anjella and the Florista Decor team, and all of our guests remember how beautiful the flowers and decor were at our wedding!

  Exceptional Job!

  Anjela and the Florista team were an absolute pleasure to work with and really helped turn our vision into reality! She took the time to sit with us and go through our ideas and give honest feedback on what she thought would work well. On the day of they did a spectacular job putting everything together flawlessly and in an extremely timely fashion.
  
  We had a very particular vibe and design in mind for our mandap and for our reception and while other decorators told us that it would be impossible within our budget, Anjela found a way and executed it to perfection. We would highly recommend Florista to anyone looking for stunning event decor!

  Absolutely beautiful work!

  We used Florista for our blended wedding mandap and it came out better than imagined! We had an outdoor set up, and all of our guests were completely blown away by how gorgeous everything was. Anjella totally understood our vision and what we were looking for and brought it to life!

  Florista Decor was the perfect vendor for our wedding weekend decor! I met with Anjella earlier this summer where we spent almost two hours discussing the different visions for the three wedding events - Mehndi, Shaadi, Valima. I wanted each date to be unique but have the feel. Anjella was so patient and kind when listening to me talk about my vision for the days. She provided thoughtful and helpful feedback and we worked together to create beautiful centerpiece, stage and misc decor for each event. Every wedding has a budget and Anjella was very helpful in providing suggestions for us to stay within our budget.
  
  Leading up to the event Anjella and I met a few more times to finalize details. Anjella even took the time to meet with my mother and mother-in-law to finalize the decor. Our Valima stage was one that we created from my vision, Anjella very kindly mocked up the stage in the weeks prior to our event so we would know what the stage would look like. Leading up to our events, I had absolutely no reservations that everything would go flawlessly.
  
  During our wedding events, the team at Florista arrived at the venue well in advance to make sure that everything was set up perfectly! I actually did not see the decor until I walked into the venues to make my entrance. Everything for all three events was absolutely stunning. I was most impressed with how Anjella and her team completely transformed the hotel conference room into a colorful and vibrant backdrop for our Mehndi.

  Anjella was an absolute joy to work with at all three of my events -- Sangeet, Wedding ceremony and Reception. I am no Pintrest bride and she managed to take my random thoughts and deliver a perfectly executed vision. Her professionalism also set my mind at ease and I felt I could leave the decor to her and focus on enjoying my special day.
  
  For my Sangeet, I wanted a relaxed cocktail vibe with just the right amount of Indian accents and that is exactly what I saw when I walked into the ballroom. She worked with me on the floor plan to accommodate the various entertainments we had (Photobooth, Jazz band, and mehndhi benches for my friends to get henna done). Even with all the different things going on the room and decor all flowed together and guests had an opportunity to mingle and party before our big day.
  
  I picked the Bronx Zoo for our wedding and reception venue and they had never hosted a full-on Indian/Hindu ceremony (along with all the unique challenges that poses -- Havan kund, mandap, baraat) before. Still, Anjella handled it with aplomb. After an initial meeting and doing her research reviewing photos and the zoo map, she completed a site visit with us and worked hand in hand with the zoo team to learn the dos and donts of decorating at a working zoo (no small feat!). Anjella was able to listen to my preferences and turn my vision into reality, highlighting the natural features and architectures of the zoo. Our guests can't stop talking about what a unique experience it was to have a zoo wedding and the Zoo Center (Modeled after a European palace), Rockafeller fountain, and sea lion pool, accented by Anjella's decorating prowess provided stunning backdrops for our ceremony, baraat and cocktail reception.

Obviously, I loved what an incredible job they did at the engagement and then went on to hire them for the wedding. Anjella who is the owner, is such a sweetheart, she went above and beyond on what I wanted on my wedding. It was the most perfect set up, there wasn't one thing she didn't do correctly. I planned the entire wedding with her from another state, and was only able to meet up once person in person. She was able to relax me, and I had full confidence in her abilities. Days after the wedding, people asked me who did the event set up, from the stage and decorations. They said it was timeless and so impeccably done. Thank you Anjella!

  Affordable high quality decor

  We really enjoyed working with Anjella throughout the planning process. She was extremely helpful and was exceptional in executing our vision. What we really liked about Anjella was that she was very honest and direct with us. She told us what would look good and what didn’t, and was willing to help brainstorm with us as well. In addition, because we were planning our wedding from DC while she is based in NY/NJ, she was always willing to get on the phone and talk through ideas with us, show us pictures over FaceTime, etc., which we really appreciated (and a lot of this was while she was pregnant/taking care of a newborn!). Florista also did our garba décor and we received amazing feedback. Our venue was a little bare, and Anjella’s team just did an amazing job to add color to the room and help create a very vibrant atmosphere. Our wedding mandap turned out beautifully – and our ceremony was outdoors. Our reception décor was simple and elegant – which is exactly we had requested. At the same time, we had asked for a lot of candles and think we had a different vision in mind with the stage because it felt a little bare when we saw it that day. Ultimately though, with Florista, clients can find a nice balance between affordability and quality décor for weddings.

  Anjela had done decorations for our sangeet, wedding ceremony, reception. We received SO many compliments on the decor. She does an amazing job and truly is an artist when it comes to decorating (she would always voice her opinions on what she would think would look best and we trusted her). Guests constantly were asking which vendor we had used. Everything ran smoothly in terms of decor on our wedding weekend because of her and her staff. She also went above and beyond to make our visions come true. The only issue I had was the responsiveness (perhaps this is because she does so many weddings). Other than that, perfect.

  When I first spoke on the phone with Nisha she was very nice and sweet; however, when it came down to signing a contract, she rushed me very much but because I was naive and believed when she said that two other clients were pending for the same date as mine. I also made a mistake by trusting her and her team thinking they would do a great job just because I was also using their other associated business for photography. I had booked the photographer way in advance before the two of them decided to work together. My photographer was very easy to work with. Going back to my stage decorator she was very nice, very pushy with the contract and first deposit. Now I will say she was kind by returning 900 dollars since I over paid her. Her work wasn't what I wanted, I asked for a specific stage arrangement for my mandhi 26th and she gave me something that wasn't even worth 400 dollars. I paid her 1,250 for my mandi stage and $2,250 for my reception stage which was pretty except many said they could have done better at that price. Overall I was very disappointed for my mandi stage... It was just curtains and a swing. I had requested for a small table and they forgot to bring it. Lastly, they left their business cards on every single guest table which really irritates me because its very unprofessional and tacky!

  Terrible Experience

  My husband and I went with Florista after being sweet-talked by Anjela. She and her teamed ensure she would provide us with our "fairytale' decor within budget. Cut to: Wedding morning, my family member go to the venue and look at the size of my mandap stage and start having panic attacks. That stage was so small, when I was doing Pheres I felt unstable and wobbly. My immediate family did not see any of the rituals from the front corners because the genius who designed and executed the floor plan did not account for the obstructions of view. In addition, I did a Phoolon Ka Chadar which was additional money, FINE. But they did the aisle so narrow that the men in my family were struggling to walk me down the aisle without bumping into the Ganeshes. Now that has been captured on my wedding video and photos and ruined an otherwise emotional moment for me.
  
  Reception: Wow! What an underwhelming decor we were welcomed into as Mr. & Mrs. My mouth fell open when I saw the "first look" of my Reception hall. The centerpieces they showed us on computer vs. the ones I saw were worlds apart. It was tacky and empty. I could've went on Etsy or even Dollar Store and done a better job with my team of cousins/friends.
  
  You guys are rip offs, you hounded my husband on our wedding morning and threatened to not show if we held our last payment, and now you know why we wanted to hold it. Not recommending to anyone. Shame on you.

  Unprofessional

  My experience using Florista for my wedding was initially ok. However, the day of the event was an absolute disaster. They outsource their work and the “manager” they had for us was completely unprofessional. She and the crew showed up hours late and ended up delaying our reception because they didn’t finish in time. They were understaffed and the manager brought their child, who was running around. I myself saw one of their staff spill water on the main table a few minutes prior to guests walking into the reception. was off from what I wanted. The flowers looked so cheap and unfluffed. I was so disappointed that my vision did not come to reality. The manager also left her equipment behind and asked our hotel to mail it back and that she would reimburse them. The hotel did, and the woman did not reimburse as promised. What’s most upsetting is that after the event, I reached out to Anjela multiple times through email and phone and received no response. Our wedding was 3 months ago and still no response. I understand that a job could be outsourced, but the owner should take responsibility if the desired result is not achieved. Please save yourself headaches and disappointment and don’t go with this company for your wedding decor.

  Breach of contract

  They are one of the most AWFUL & HORRIBLE company to work with. Out of all of our vendors, they gave me a panic attack on the day of my wedding. Sumdarash and Anjella are the owner of Florista Décor. We wanted to finalize everything for the pre-wedding and wedding decorations and it was extremely hard for me to get in touch with them. Their communication was extremely delayed. I wish I could write this review without giving them one star. Anjella will lie to your face and make false promises just to get your money. Please DO NOT fall for her sweet voice. That’s just there to corrupt you and destroy your dream presentation. Absolutely do not hire them for your big day, they will ruin your presentation by breaching the contract and sending you dirty, paint chipped charger plates. Some of the things that Florista Decor sent to use as decorations, looked like they were picked up from garbage. Even our own venue was so embarrassed to use them.
  We got our wedding coordinator involved to ask them for a refund and they refused to give us a penny. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY ON THEM.
