Here, you can transform this area to create the celebration you’ve always dreamed of. Including floral arbors, glamorous drapery, and wooden chairs, the farm’s lawn areas can feature every fine detail you desire. Furthermore, these lawn spaces can host large receptions that run long into the night. For those looking to make the most of The Golden State’s glorious weather, these areas are exposed to the sun throughout the day. They also have ample space for tents, live entertainment, a dance floor, and more. Adjacent to the farmhouse, a large pond makes for fabulous photo opportunities or ceremonies that overlook this natural centerpiece. Additional facilities include a cozy outside fire pit, man-made sand beaches, and an old-world farmhouse.

Accommodation

Retreat to The Farm offers farmhouse accommodations for up to 16 guests. The Cello Suite is the largest and most luxurious guest room in the farmhouse. This luxurious suite features a queen-size bed, a fireplace, a desk, and a bathroom featuring a dark African slate tub with two showerheads. What’s more, this relaxing room offers vistas of the main channel of the Sacramento River. There are two additional private bedrooms each with a queen bed. The farm studio features one full-sized bed and two single beds, and a shared bathroom. The third-floor bunk room has several bunk beds, a queen bed, and a shared bathroom.

The Farm is suitable for all types of ceremonies, receptions, engagement parties, elopements, showers, and rehearsal dinners. Upon booking, you are given complete license to transform any space into a setting that effortlessly portrays your style and personality. The staff at this property allows you to work with outside vendors to help plan and finalize all of your preparations. The site also comes equipped with substantial overhead lighting for outdoor use during your event.

History

This old world European style venue is owned by Robyn Brown and run by husband-wife duo, Leila Burrows and Brendan Mooney. These professionals are dedicated to providing outstanding hospitality - hosting gorgeous and memorable weddings, retreats, and other special events. The Brown family came to the area at the height of California’s gold rush. Robyn and Leila are 5th and 6th generation descendants.
