The Stone Barn is a new rustic-chic wedding venue located in Plymouth, California. Situated on the Cosumnes River Ranch in the Sierra Nevada Foothills and just a few miles from the Shenandoah Wine Valley, this unique venue is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty.

Facilities and Capacity

The family-owned and operated Consumnes River Ranch is nestled beside one of the last undammed rivers in California, the Consumnes River. The property features rolling hills, leaky oak trees, and private ponds, making it a stunning destination for hikers, campers, and other outdoor enthusiasts. The Stone Barn is an original structure built in the 1920s from rocks and wood sourced from the property. The sweeping space features a 20-foot solid pine bar, a dance floor, and plenty of room for a seated or buffet-style dinner. Upstairs, you'll find a getting-ready suite for the wedding party to use, with a full bathroom and kitchenette. The patio that extends from the barn is a great place to host a cocktail hour or dance the night away under the stars.

Amazing venue for a wedding!!!!

This is an amazing place to have a wedding! I was the wedding planner for my nephews June 7th wedding and this is the venue they chose. I knew when I drove up the driveway This would be the place!… and I looked at nine other venues! The owner,Rachael, was exceptional to work with and super flexible to meet all of our needs. I feel like when you’re planning a wedding This is a very important aspect to look for because the ability to carry out all the details of a wedding depend greatly on how flexible the venue/venue owner is. Rachael was also great in helping us determine the best layout for the dinner tables. We had roughly 100 guests and the space inside fit everyone nicely. This is a stunning venue in a perfect location that allows for beautiful photographs no matter what time of year. Rachael thank you for allowing us to host our event at your beautiful venue.

Stone Barn Winery

Rachel was incredibly helpful, responsive & resourceful. Our wedding day was projected to rain but she helped with the process of figuring out best steps to take to make my wedding perfect. The venue is gorgeous inside & out and reasonably priced. Highly recommend the Stone Barn Winery!

The most amazing wedding venue!!

The Stone Barn is gorgeous venue. The inside of the barn is stunning with the perfect lighting and beautiful wood plus an adorable getting ready/bridal suite. The stone on the outside of the barn coupled with the large barn doors makes for the perfect photos! Not only was the venue amazing but so was Racheal. She is so easy to work with and patient when there were a few hiccups during the planning process. She made sure the tables and chairs were set up perfectly and she is honestly so so sweet. I could not recommend a better venue!!!

Amazing Venue

We got married here April 26th, 2025, Racheal and her venue were nothing short of amazing. When we first looked at the venue we knew immediately that this was it. During the months leading up to our wedding Racheal was always there if we had any questions or concerns, I would 100% recommend this venue to any newly engaged couple looking for venues. It was the most amazing day! Even if it rained!

Amazing Venue and Staff!

Our son was married there this weekend and we could not have had a better experience with this venue. Molly is AMAZING! She handled everything with patience and joy. She mad our day run smoothly and made it a joyful experience. She worked so hard all day long! I REALLY recommend this beautiful venue!!

The most beautiful venue!!

My husband & I are high school sweethearts & just got married at this beautiful venue on 5.24.25! This was actually the first venue we toured a couple days after getting engaged and we fell in LOVE! Such a beautiful ceremony area & shaded patio for dancing! It had a large bridal suite for my girls and I to get ready & we had our reception in the gorgeous barn. There were multiple gorgeous areas for pictures as well! Rachael was amazing and made us feel so welcome. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this venue!!

Amazing venue!

We got married here 4/5/2025, Racheal, her partner and her venue were nothing short of amazing. We had picked this venue January of 2024 and we fell in love immediately. Over the course of a year of being in communication with Racheal she was always able to answer questions fast and efficiently, so accommodating, and so beyond nice. We could never recommend this venue enough, it was so perfect for our once in a lifetime event. Thank you so much to the Stone Barn for making our wedding something we will never forget!

Wonderful Venue

We were so happy with this venue! We loved the setting and Rachael was so sweet. She was very flexible with us and answered any and all questions I had. This spot is gorgeous.
The ladies have a private area to get ready, the men had to use the downstairs bathroom but they didn’t mind as it has a shower and plentiful space.

The time frame is a bit early, however we had an earlier wedding so it didn’t affect us at all. I’m super happy with the provided chairs and tables. They really helped amplify the space.
You don’t have to do much to capture how gorgeous this venue is.

Customer Service Unmatched

As soon as we met Rachael, we knew we wanted to work with her. She was unbelievably easy to work it and it absolutely helped that her venue is so beautiful. It did rain on our wedding day, but Rachael was so communicative, flexible, and understanding throughout the entire (what felt like) disaster. It turned out beautiful and we couldn't have done it without Rachael right there. She knows her property and estate inside and out and knows what will work and what won't at all times. She was a fantastic sense of calm for me, being the bride, specifically. Everything worked out exactly as it was supposed to. Not only is the exterior of the venue beautiful, but the interior is gorgeous as well. We spent a lot more time inside than we originally planned and it ended up working out perfectly. Another huge swayer for me was the bridal suite. It's massive. I had 7 bridesmaids and together, my partner and I have 6 moms! That alone, plus our photographer, and our hair and makeup girls... and there was still more than enough room. I can't recommend The Stone Barn Winery enough. Not even just for weddings, I would throw absolutely any event here. It's absolutely breathtaking.
