My husband Will and I had a great wedding experience at Cavaignac from start to finish.
We both work in the wedding industry and have had the opportunity to see and work at many beautiful venues. That said, Cavaignac immediately stood out to us. From our initial tour with the lovely owner, Leila, we were taken not only by the beauty of the property but also by the warmth it exudes. While there are many stunning venues out there, what makes Cavaignac truly special is the feeling you get being there. You can genuinely feel the history and love that comes from it being a multi-generational family home, and that feeling ultimately made it an easy decision for us to choose it as the place to get married.
In the lead up to our wedding, Leila and Josh (property manager) were extremely helpful in answering our questions and facilitating vendor access. This really made it easy for the coordination and planning to come together.
The property manager Josh (super nice and easy to work with!) was on-site throughout our wedding and helped everything run as smoothly as possible. It was so fun to hear from our guests how incredible they thought the property was and how they felt they were in Europe. We also stayed in the house both Friday and Saturday night, which was very comfortable and perfect for us!
Overall, we had an unbeatable experience at Cavaignac and can’t recommend it enough. Thank you so much to Leila, Josh and the whole team at Cavaignac for helping make our wedding weekend so memorable. -

From the moment my husband and I drove through the tree lined driveway onto the grounds of Cavaignac, we knew we had found something truly special. Cavaignac exudes an old-world European charm that transported us to another time and place.
One of the biggest highlights for us was the ability to rent the entire estate for the whole weekend. It allowed us to create an intimate experience for our loved ones, starting with the rehearsal dinner and culminating in the wedding day itself. The property is expansive and beautifully landscaped, with so many charming nooks and crannies to explore. Our guests felt like they were on a getaway, and it truly added to the magic of the celebration.
What truly sets Cavaignac apart is the incredible team. Leila, the owner, was an absolute joy to work with from our very first tour. Her warmth, responsiveness, and genuine desire to make our vision a reality made the the decision to choose Cavaignac easy. On the wedding weekend itself, her husband Brendan and their colleague Josh took the reins as venue managers, ensuring that everything ran seamlessly. They were both incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. You could tell they genuinely cared about our happiness and the success of our event.
Because Cavaignac allows you to bring in your own vendors (and they also provide a great list of preferred vendors), it offers a unique and customizable experience for your wedding, allowing you to make it your own. When we faced an unexpected need to adjust our cocktail hour location, Leila was incredibly accommodating. She listened to our ideas, offered helpful suggestions, and worked with us to create a new layout that was even better than we had originally envisioned.
If you're looking for a wedding venue that offers privacy, intimacy, exceptional service, and an unforgettable experience, look no further than Cavaignac. This family-run estate is a hidden gem, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple seeking a wedding that is as unique and special as their love story. Best venue ever!
Where to begin! From the moment we even set up a tour The Burrows were nothing but amazing. The venue is flexible, beautiful and truly it can be the day you truly dream of. -

My team had the privilege and joy of coordinating a wedding at Cavaignac Estate on 4/13/24 and was thrilled with the service Leila and her husband Brendan provided. They were extremely responsive and communicative throughout the entire planning process, answering all of my silly little questions and hashing through logistics and lighting with me. They also diligently monitored the weather in the weeks leading up to our event and warned us of a change just in time to un-cancel our tent! Wedding day was much more cold and rainy than originally anticipated but the Cavaignac staff was onsite to assist guests around the property.
I was stunned with how gorgeous the place was, and the rain somehow made it even more romantic and magical. From a logistical standpoint I'd aim for a date with a bit more sun, but even if your day does get a little rain, Leila and Brendan will do their best to make sure your day is as beautiful as possible. -

Gorgeous Venue!
I am still in awe of this venue whenever I look back at our wedding pictures. We loved everything about Retreat to the Farm. I had stumbled upon RTTF on Instagram and upon our first tour, we knew it was the one. We got married this past May, and it was the perfect time because all the flowers around the venue had bloomed and we were fortunate with the weather. It is a very well-maintained property and our guests still rave about the venue to this day.
Working with Leila throughout the planning process was an absolute joy, and we can't thank her and her staff enough for their professionalism and the seamless execution of our special day. The venue's location was easy for our guests to find, and it was conveniently close to the Bay Area, allowing most of them to drive back home after the wedding.
This was truly the venue of our dreams and exceeded all our expectations. We feel incredibly fortunate to have celebrated our special day in such a beautiful place. -

The absolute best
From touring the venue to wedding day, the owners of Retreat to the Farm were absolutely amazing. Leila and her husband made our wedding SO special. The were great at communicating and provided everything that was promised and more. The property was everything I’ve always dreamed of for my wedding and guest still talk about how beautiful it was. It felt like something out of a movie! I cannot recommend this venue and these owners enough! -

This venue was fantastic! The owner was so easy to work with and was great at accommodating request. My guest cannot stop talking about how gorgeous my wedding venue was. What I loved so much is we were able to have it for the whole weekend. Do our rehearsal the night before with some pretty set up, then the wedding the next day and had time to relax and not rush, and then the next day time to pack up and load everything. Loved this place so much! -

I recently was able to photograph a wedding at Retreat To The Farm this season and I was super impressed! There is PLENTY of photo locations and the layout of the venue was really well thought out. Parking is also hidden and not far away from where wedding festivities were taking place. The owner was really kind as well and I found this to be one of the better wedding venues in their neck of the area. Get married here! -

Beautiful venue!
Amazing venue! So glad we found Retreat to the Farm for our wedding. We wanted a place where we could stay all weekend and really make an experience of it and this was all of that! Leila was great to work with, very communicative and easy going. The venue is absolutely beautiful and made for great pictures. We did our wedding early October and the weather was perfect. We used the tree lined driveway for our ceremony which I definitely recommend, and had our reception on the back side of the house, using the patio as our dancefloor. All the lights they have set up on the lawn looked so beautiful and definitely provided enough light. All in all - it was everything we would've hoped for! No regrets. -

Our dream venue!
Retreat to the Farm was the absolute best venue that we could have picked for our reception. Not only is the venue pristine and jaw-dropping, but Robyn and Leila were very accommodating as our hosts. My husband and I are both in the wedding industry and we stumbled upon this venue while working a wedding here. A few months go by and we got engaged and the first place we both thought of was Retreat to the Farm. We thought of this place because it is a loss for words type venue. We couldn’t believe our eyes when we drove through the tree tunnel and saw the beautiful property for the first time. Everything from the care of the owners to the beautiful surroundings was absolutely perfect. It really takes you out of real time and into a French chateau experience. Every single penny was worth it because we look back at our wedding day and the venue is what made it so special. It was so unique and totally us. I would highly recommend working with Retreat to the Farm. Leila and her husband were so kind to us. There is no other venue like this one in all of California! (And we’ve seen a lot!) -

When my husband and I first got engaged, we didn't plan on a Pandemic interrupting our wedding planning. When COVID hit, I was skeptical our inital venue would pan out. Thankfully, through word of mouth, I heard of Retreat to the Farm and when all of our original wedding plans came crashing down, I remembered this little gem! My husband and I decided to check it out in person and I firmly believe, this was devine intervention because this venue was the perfect place to have our wedding. Through all the ups and downs of planning a wedding during COVID, we could not have asked for a better venue to help us plan a beautiful and safe wedding for us and our guests. This is the best wedding venue around! The views are stunning, Leila and her team are amazing, and you have the freedom to create your own vision from scratch! All our guests raved about our venue and I will cherish our photos forever!
This is a must-see venue! They have all the space and beauty you need for a truly magical day! -

I have written a review for this venue 3 times all for this site to crash and make me start over and let me say for as tempted as I was to give up, Retreat to the Farm deserves to be acknowledged. My other reviews were lengthy so this one will be short and to the point. Leila and Brendon are absolutely some of the best people I've ever met. Dealing with them made everything so easy and stress-free. The venue is beautiful and well kept, they don't have a bunch of stupid rules that hinder your celebration and I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone that asks. Leila even led the bridesmaids and moms in sunrise yoga overlooking the pond. It was the perfect way to start such a special day. 10/10, you will not regret it, this place is a hidden gem on the delta. -

This property really has it all. It is a French country-style setting with a fully treelined driveway, horses on-site, vineyards, flower bushes, a sandy beach with a bar, fire pit and pond to swim in or canoe around, a shaded yoga deck, expansive lawns in the front and back of the main house, an Oak grove, and so much more. I got married here in early August 2020 in the Oak grove on the property and it was very ethereal. The words my guests said to me in describing their experience was "breathtaking", "beautiful", "magical", "fun", and many more wonderful words. I would recommend this place to any bride-to-be as the owners are super sweet, flexible and accommodating, it is affordable, there is an amplified sound curfew at 11pm, but no forcing the party to stop. In fact, we stayed up making s'mores on the beach till the wee hours of the morning. My family and I will be renting again to relive those special moments we shared on our special day. -

The owners of this property were an absolute Godsend during these crazy and chaotic times! They saved our wedding and made it 100x more beautiful and perfect than we could have ever expected!
The property was unimaginably gorgeous with amble amount of space for guests to roam and keep a distance from one another. The lighting, views, and natural decor of the property have our guests raving about it! The service was professional, prompt, and helpful at all times.
If you are looking for a natural, laid-back, fairytale wedding then this is the venue for you! Don't even think twice about it! -

The Farm offered us everything we wanted for our wedding weekend. The property is beautiful, spacious, and well maintained. Our guests had parking on site. The wedding party and family had access to the house for sleeping arrangements, showers, kitchen, staging area. The farm kitchen provided amble storage space for bar supplies (we bought our own) and flowers. Property owners were the most reasonable and accommodating to our every request. We highly recommend this venue for its location and flexibility.
Our wedding was in October 2019. The weather was great. Rentals included: canopies, tables, chairs, linens, silverware and plates, bar supplies. We rented portable restrooms for guest use. Caterers had a hidden location for food prep. We brought in sound equipment for the band.

From the moment we toured the property, we knew this was the perfect venue for our wedding. Birds were chirping, rabbits wandered by, and the horses were grazing. It felt magical (and like the animals were paid actors). The venue is truly breathtaking, blending old-world charm with understated luxury. Our wedding day felt like a fairy tale: the temperature peaked around 80° with a gentle breeze all day, and the setting could not have been more beautiful. The grounds are incredibly photogenic, with so many intimate corners and hidden backdrops. We had our ceremony on the tree-lined driveway
It was important to us to choose a venue with natural beauty that required minimal additional décor and allowed us to serve liquor. I come from a culture that expects hard liquor at weddings. Many venues with this level of charm are wineries with strict no–hard-liquor policies and high minimums. This property offered the same elegance and outdoor setting while giving us greater flexibility and value. Then, we could put our money where we wanted it to go! We especially appreciated the freedom to select our own vendors while still having access to helpful referrals when needed.
Many thanks to Leila, the property owner, and to Josh for their incredible support. Josh went above and beyond—spending time assisting guests with mobility concerns and remaining attentive throughout the entire event. The venue staff were amazing, and we truly appreciate everything they did to make our wedding the best day of our lives. -

My husband and I got married at The Farm in October 2022. Throughout a long wedding postponement, Leila always stayed flexible and communicative throughout the entire process! Leila was great about communicating through email, phone calls, or even text messages. At our rehearsal and on the day of the wedding, Leila's husband Brendan made sure everything was ready to go and helped get the final touches of the venue ready! Once you book The Farm for your wedding venue, Leila gives her couples the freedom to make the venue fit any vision they have for their big day. We felt very lucky to have Leila and Brendan behind us for our wedding day!
Not only were Leila and Brendan amazing to work with, your wedding guests will be amazed at The Farms elegance, beauty and pristine shape that the grounds are constantly in. Our wedding guests couldn't stop asking about our venue and how we found a place this beautiful! Our photographer enjoyed all the picturesque opportunities that The Farm offered with it's natural beauty. The Farm will always hold a special place in our hearts and we couldn't be more thankful to have gotten married there. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue! Our guests absolutely raved about how naturally beautiful and elegant the scenery and locations on the property were and we so agreed! Leila was amazing to work with as well as any of the staff we worked with. From the tree lined ceremony space, to the pond, to the gorgeous house on the property, the venue was exactly what we were looking for for our big day!
