Dominique and Javi have been absolutely incredible to work with so far. At last minute, we decided to do a courthouse wedding and were looking for a photographer to capture that moment and some of our favorite spots around Boston after. We ended up reaching out to Dominique and it was incredibly clear how professional, passionate, and flexible she was with our vision. We were able to bounce many ideas off of each other leading up to the day that they executed with ease.

Honestly it was the best decision we made. They were on time, made us and our close friends and family feel super comfortable, and captured a great balance of family/friend photos, posed and more candid ones. Their energy, their prompts, and the environment they were able to create, made our session around the city our favorite part of the entire day. It truly allowed my husband and I to take the time to really be with each other and celebrate finally being married in a fun and intimate way. Within 3 days, we received our previews and they were STUNNING. The gallery itself came soon after and we couldn't be happier with it. She even took the time afterwards to edit out a large scar on my ankle, which I truly appreciated.

We have rebooked Dominique and Javi to photograph and film (on Super 8) our formal wedding in Connecticut this summer. Their professionalism and expertise has continued to carry into the preparation for this. Dominique recently photographed and filmed a very special event for us which was our six-year vowels’ renewal in San Diego, CA. She made this day so unique and special for us. The amount of planning she invested with coordinating all the details with the venue vendor, finding an amazing florist like I have never met before and securing a wonderful make-up artist and incredibly talented hair stylist who made me feel as beautiful as the photos and Super 8 film she captured for us.

She gave 200% of herself to make this shoot perfect. She delivered so many wonderful photos for us and captured and edited a Super 8 video that brought tears to our eyes.

Dominique and Javi are a photography dream team. They shot both our engagement and wedding photos, and we are so ecstatic with the photos they captured! We could not be more thrilled with our decision to hire Dominique to document our big day. Our wedding was a Covid-delayed, DIY affair (food truck, lawn games, dancing, toast-style ring ceremony at a historic house). We wanted the focus of the wedding to be having fun with our guests - so we were initially unsure of what to look for in a photographer, but knew we wanted someone that thrived shooting in outdoor lighting and capturing candid moments. Dominique came at the recommendation of our day-of coordinator - who shared that she’d be a perfect fit for what we were looking for.

From our first conversation, we knew we made the right choice. She was an absolute joy to work with from the very beginning, and her enthusiasm for her craft comes through in the work she did. During the day, she floated between the clusters of family and friends gathered around the lawn and under the tent. She picked her spots for the posed shots, timing perfectly around the scheduled events and lighting. We got all the shots we had hoped for, while never feeling like we were missing out on the party.

After the wedding, she overdelivered big time - getting us more quality shots than we ever could have imagined sooner than she had promised. I first contacted Dominique to take photos of a surprise engagement. They met with me beforehand and helped me plan the location and time. Dominique was extremely professional, kind, and generous with her time. On the day itself she was at the location early and updated me by text. She had previews of some of the photos that same day, and the full set of photos later in the week. The photos were wonderful! We both can't believe that they turned out so well.

For the courthouse wedding, she managed to take some wonderful pictures even in the dim fluorescent lighting of Boston City Hall. Then afterwards we walked around downtown taking more pictures--she had a few locations in mind that we wouldn't have thought of! Looking back at the pictures now, it's amazing how she adapted the style of both of these photoshoots--we love them. The quickness of her editing wasn't a fluke last time, either--she delivered us dozens of expertly-edited photos within 24 hours (way faster than the advertised turn-around-time).
