Kristy and her staff at Carolina love events did an incredible job corrdinatint our wedding day . Being from out of state and the hurricane that asheville was still repairing from made finding vendors a tad tricky , Kristy made sure that everything we ever envisioned for our special day became a reality down to hiring actors dressed as Harry Potter characters to come and dance / entertain our guests . Our qeddibt was magical and it was all because of Carolina Love events :)

We are so grateful to have worked with Debbie and Carolina Love Events for our wedding. We do not live locally in Asheville and invited friends and family from all over the country to celebrate in one of our favorite places. Debbie helped us stay on task throughout the entire planning process and made sure that all details and timelines were covered. She offered suggestions for vendors and welcome event spaces, offered to review every contract, and suggested small details for the ceremony, among many other contributions, and every recommendation was spot on. During the rehearsal and wedding, she did an incredible job of arranging beautiful tablescapes and keeping the events on schedule without making us feel like we were on a schedule at all! From our perspective (and that of all our guests), everything went exactly as planned, and we know that is because she was there keeping it all together. Her attention to detail, responsiveness, and positive demeanor were so valuable and appreciated throughout the process, and we cannot speak highly enough of her work!

Carolina Love Events made all of our wedding dreams come true! We used the month of service and the team was so help sending us tips and recommendations even before the month of. They went above and beyond from the rehearsal to helping set up our after party! They were so flexible with any changes we needed and helped make sure everything ran smoothly so that we didn’t know what was happening behind the scenes. I can’t say enough great things about Debbie and this amazing team!

There are not enough words to describe how fantastic Nikki, Debora, and the whole team at Carolina Love Events are. My husband and I got married in November of 2024 in Highlands, NC and the whole planning process and wedding day was beautiful in large part because of Debora, Nikki, and Carolina Love Events. We do not live in Highlands so we planned everything from afar. We started working with CLE in February of 2024 and did their “partial planning package”. This was a great option as we had already chosen the venue (and food), photographer, sent out invites, picked a florist, and I had picked my dress. CLE gave us great recommendations for the additional vendors. Things like picking a DJ or cake vendor just did not seem super fun to me so receiving recommendations from CLE was incredibly helpful. All the recommended vendors were wonderful and CLE helped take this off my plate. Nikki, Debora, and the venue event planner also coordinated multiple pre-wedding meetings as well. Nikki led these meetings and offered a wealth of knowledge from her experience in the wedding planning industry.
Debora was onsite for the wedding day and rehearsal to coordinate everything. There was another woman from CLE with Debora on the wedding day to provide support with everything as well (I forget her name, but she was great as well)! Overall, the wedding day was absolutely stunning and Debora truly made the day so special by managing everything. She was one of the first people I saw the morning of the wedding and was so professional, punctual, organized, and positive. She also did a great job directing the groomsmen where to be as well. My florist (that I chose myself) actually did not show up to the wedding and lied to Debora that she was on her way to the venue 5+ times throughout the day. Debora navigated this with ease and was able to get a florist in town to make bouquets the day of for me and my bridesmaids to walk down the aisle with (with like T-2 hours until I walked down the aisle. Seriously.). It rained the day of, and we had planned to get married outside, but we grabbed some umbrellas and actually have some pretty amazing pictures of us in the rain. Overall, it was a gorgeous day, Debora and CLE are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone that wants to have fun at their wedding and truly not worry about a thing. It was literally the best day of my life and we danced the whole night. I could go on & on, but just look at the pics. I will start with saying we didn’t think we needed a wedding planner. We are low key, go with the flow types. We didn’t know what we didn’t know. Kristi and team were exceptional. And it didn’t take long to realize we needed them! If anything went wrong, we didn’t have a clue. For us, everything was perfect. Every little detail was covered from assisting with vendor recommendations and coordination to keeping us on our timeline. Kristi and her team were always available to answer any questions in a timely manner. Our minds were at ease the entire time. Kristi thought of every little detail that we had almost overlooked. Never thought to have a point of contact person for the end of the night to gather all our belongings once we left the venue. I guess we thought everything would just appear where it needed haha! Our experience was true perfection. Because of Carolina Love Events every little detail was taken care of. We didn’t have to worry about anything. We were guided professionally throughout the ceremony and staged at just the right spots so there were no sneak peeks. Our guests were graciously guided to the cocktail hour and then to the reception where our DJ was cued up for our entrance. Following our first dance, the caterers were ready for dinner followed by a seamless transition to the cake cutting switched into a happy birthday cake for one of our guests. We danced the night away when last call was announced, Kristi had all our guests line the stairs outside and coordinated a sparkler exit. All our personal items arrived back. Thank goodness for that contact we never thought about having lol. We thought we were low key and just go with the flow, which we are but a wedding is not the time to test how chill you may think you are. Carolina Love Events had everything we knew and didn’t know we wanted or needed covered. We would not have had the experience or memories we have without their involvement.

If you are planning a wedding, this wedding planner is the one for you. There are no words to express how wonderful she made our wedding. She took care of every detail. But not only that, she took care to check in on how we were feeling and completely took away any stress or worry we had. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you so much for making our fairytale come true.

Carolina Love Events was so helpful when planning our wedding and for the day of! Nikki was our first point of contact and helped answer a lot of initial questions and so many things we hadn't even thought about. Kristy was our day-of coordinator and had such a wonderful and calming presence. She did an amazing job handling any issue that came up and kept the day stress-free and perfect for us. Kristy took care of issues that we didn't even know existed and we literally could not imagine our wedding day without her or Carolina Love Events!
