Exceeded our expectations !
Kristy and her staff at Carolina love events did an incredible job corrdinatint our wedding day . Being from out of state and the hurricane that asheville was still repairing from made finding vendors a tad tricky , Kristy made sure that everything we ever envisioned for our special day became a reality down to hiring actors dressed as Harry Potter characters to come and dance / entertain our guests . Our qeddibt was magical and it was all because of Carolina Love events :) -

We are so grateful to have worked with Debbie and Carolina Love Events for our wedding. We do not live locally in Asheville and invited friends and family from all over the country to celebrate in one of our favorite places. Debbie helped us stay on task throughout the entire planning process and made sure that all details and timelines were covered. She offered suggestions for vendors and welcome event spaces, offered to review every contract, and suggested small details for the ceremony, among many other contributions, and every recommendation was spot on. During the rehearsal and wedding, she did an incredible job of arranging beautiful tablescapes and keeping the events on schedule without making us feel like we were on a schedule at all! From our perspective (and that of all our guests), everything went exactly as planned, and we know that is because she was there keeping it all together. Her attention to detail, responsiveness, and positive demeanor were so valuable and appreciated throughout the process, and we cannot speak highly enough of her work! -

Carolina Love Events made all of our wedding dreams come true! We used the month of service and the team was so help sending us tips and recommendations even before the month of. They went above and beyond from the rehearsal to helping set up our after party! They were so flexible with any changes we needed and helped make sure everything ran smoothly so that we didn’t know what was happening behind the scenes. I can’t say enough great things about Debbie and this amazing team! -

There are not enough words to describe how fantastic Nikki, Debora, and the whole team at Carolina Love Events are. My husband and I got married in November of 2024 in Highlands, NC and the whole planning process and wedding day was beautiful in large part because of Debora, Nikki, and Carolina Love Events. We do not live in Highlands so we planned everything from afar. We started working with CLE in February of 2024 and did their “partial planning package”. This was a great option as we had already chosen the venue (and food), photographer, sent out invites, picked a florist, and I had picked my dress. CLE gave us great recommendations for the additional vendors. Things like picking a DJ or cake vendor just did not seem super fun to me so receiving recommendations from CLE was incredibly helpful. All the recommended vendors were wonderful and CLE helped take this off my plate. Nikki, Debora, and the venue event planner also coordinated multiple pre-wedding meetings as well. Nikki led these meetings and offered a wealth of knowledge from her experience in the wedding planning industry.
Debora was onsite for the wedding day and rehearsal to coordinate everything. There was another woman from CLE with Debora on the wedding day to provide support with everything as well (I forget her name, but she was great as well)! Overall, the wedding day was absolutely stunning and Debora truly made the day so special by managing everything. She was one of the first people I saw the morning of the wedding and was so professional, punctual, organized, and positive. She also did a great job directing the groomsmen where to be as well. My florist (that I chose myself) actually did not show up to the wedding and lied to Debora that she was on her way to the venue 5+ times throughout the day. Debora navigated this with ease and was able to get a florist in town to make bouquets the day of for me and my bridesmaids to walk down the aisle with (with like T-2 hours until I walked down the aisle. Seriously.). It rained the day of, and we had planned to get married outside, but we grabbed some umbrellas and actually have some pretty amazing pictures of us in the rain. Overall, it was a gorgeous day, Debora and CLE are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone that wants to have fun at their wedding and truly not worry about a thing. It was literally the best day of my life and we danced the whole night. I could go on & on, but just look at the pics. I will start with saying we didn’t think we needed a wedding planner. We are low key, go with the flow types. We didn’t know what we didn’t know. Kristi and team were exceptional. And it didn’t take long to realize we needed them! If anything went wrong, we didn’t have a clue. For us, everything was perfect. Every little detail was covered from assisting with vendor recommendations and coordination to keeping us on our timeline. Kristi and her team were always available to answer any questions in a timely manner. Our minds were at ease the entire time. Kristi thought of every little detail that we had almost overlooked. Never thought to have a point of contact person for the end of the night to gather all our belongings once we left the venue. I guess we thought everything would just appear where it needed haha! Our experience was true perfection. Because of Carolina Love Events every little detail was taken care of. We didn’t have to worry about anything. We were guided professionally throughout the ceremony and staged at just the right spots so there were no sneak peeks. Our guests were graciously guided to the cocktail hour and then to the reception where our DJ was cued up for our entrance. Following our first dance, the caterers were ready for dinner followed by a seamless transition to the cake cutting switched into a happy birthday cake for one of our guests. We danced the night away when last call was announced, Kristi had all our guests line the stairs outside and coordinated a sparkler exit. All our personal items arrived back. Thank goodness for that contact we never thought about having lol. We thought we were low key and just go with the flow, which we are but a wedding is not the time to test how chill you may think you are. Carolina Love Events had everything we knew and didn’t know we wanted or needed covered. We would not have had the experience or memories we have without their involvement. -

Fairytale Wedding
If you are planning a wedding, this wedding planner is the one for you. There are no words to express how wonderful she made our wedding. She took care of every detail. But not only that, she took care to check in on how we were feeling and completely took away any stress or worry we had. I cannot recommend her enough. Wedding at Homewood
The Staff was amazing throughout the whole planning process. They were very responsive to our emails and questions, had great recommendations, and we're always so nice when we met in person. Regardless of which staff member we were talking to.
Deborah and Kristy were our day of coordinators and they were the best. They made sure everything went smoothly, everything was set up correctly, and they were a blast to work with! I HIGHLY recommend Carolina Love events. -

I believe we chose the month-of coordination package. I didn't actually want to hire a planner (our venue required that we hire this planner as part of the contract).
I am so glad now that we had a planner and Nikki, Kristy, and Deborah did a fantastic job keeping us all on track.
Even though I only paid for the month of coordination, Nikki and staff were available by email for logistics questions. Honestly I hadn't really thought about everything that goes into planning a proper wedding and Nikki gave me a detailed list of to do's that I could just check off. She also came up with solutions to problems that came up
Kristy and Deborah coordinated our day.
I didn't have to really think about much the whole day. I planned everything out with them before hand and they kept everything running to schedule. If there was an issue, people went to Kristy and if it needed my input she came to me. And, when we realized that my zipper had somehow not been sewn into my dress, they had clothespins on hand for a quick fix.
I had an amazing day! Thank you Carolina love, Nikki, Deborah and especially Kristy. ☺️ -

Nikki and her team were amazing! The communication was great, they were organized, and extremely attentive. I, like most, went into this planning process overwhelmed and even after the first meeting, I immediately felt better and always felt a little better after each email or chat. They really made the process a lot less daunting and made it easier to enjoy our engagement because they were so on it! The day of we had Kristy and she was AMAZING! She was on it and she had this ease to her that immediately made you feel more calm and she made sure that us having fun and enjoying our day was our number one concern and she had everything else handled. The whole team at Carolina Love Events was so helpful when planning our wedding. We used the day-of coordination package (which was required by our venue), but they went way above and beyond day-of coordination. We met with them multiple times, they kept us on track with timeline, they sent us recommendations for vendors, we used their discount codes for Minted and Generation Tux, and - most importantly - they made sure everything ran smoothly on the actual day. They're very organized and on top of their system, and they really know what they're doing. If you're anyone other than a professional wedding planner and you need coordination/planning services, hire them! -

We live in Durham, NC and got married in Asheville, NC, so we knew we needed someone local who could recommend vendors and help us coordinate the logistics with the venue. Working with Nikki was simply the best! She handled everything from vendor recommendations to scheduling meal tastings to day-of logistics and setup. Words cannot express my gratitude for Nikki and the entire Carolina Love Events team! Our wedding was perfect and so much of it can be attributed to Nikki's expertise, hard work and dedication to her couples! Ours was a "destination wedding" and Nikki was constantly available to answer any and all questions we had. She provided amazing insight into other local vendors, hotels for room blocks and even provided a PDF of recommendations of things to do and where to eat/drink in Asheville - which was super helpful in putting together our website. Any vendor we told her we planned to work with, she knew them personally and had established relationships which made us feel so at ease since we were planning the wedding from afar. We also used CLE for florals and all our arrangements were STUNNING - we had an arbor for the ceremony, greenery along the twinkle lights in the tent, gorgeous bouquets and other floral decor - it was all literally out of a dream. Nikki also referred us to a vintage furniture rental company and worked with them directly taking one more thing off our list! We had a beautiful vintage lounge set for guests to relax, amber goblets to complete the look of our table setting and other pretty decor to complete the vibe. It was perfect! Nikki truly read our minds and knew exactly how to bring our vision to life. Pankti (also at CLE) helped us with our signs - from calligraphed seating charts and programs on huge vintage mirrors to watercolor art for our signature cocktail menu, she is such a talented artist and we're so happy we were able to work with her. Not only was Nikki an angel leading up to the wedding, but also "saved the day" on the day of! While we did have a rain plan, the ceremony was planned to be outside, and the day-of, I was a tad stressed watching the "chance of rain percentage" steadily increase in the forecast. Just as the party bus showed up at our AirBnB to take us to the venue, it started downpouring, thundering, lightening - you name it, either way it was not looking good. As we pulled up to the venue, the rain had stopped but we could still hear thunder rumbling in the distance and I knew any minute that it could start downpouring again. Nikki assured me the week before that she can always adjust the timeline a bit and usually finds a hole in the storm to hold her ceremonies outside - and sure enough - we not only had our ceremony outside, but the sun came out just as I started saying my vows. I know it's crazy to say Nikki controls the weather - but I will say this woman is a wizard at tracking a radar and I was so thrilled she was able to time everything perfectly. The whole CLE team was so chill and on top of everything and if anything went wrong we have NO idea! Nikki made sure the entire night ran smoothly and on schedule and it was perfect! Having Nikki there made the day so much more enjoyable, and definitely gave us the peace of mind we needed so we could just enjoy ourselves. Major, major thank you to Nikki and the whole CLE team! -

I first reached out to Nikki TWO years ago to be our month of coordinator, and it was the best decision we made in regards to our wedding! I cannot rave enough about her and her team. She was so incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process, answering every question and offering professional advice for every uncertainty we had. She took over and helped us move our date from May 2020 to May 2021, postponing our wedding was stressful enough, I CANNOT even begin to imagine how much more stressful it would have been without Nikki.
Nikki also did all of our florals and they were STUNNING!! Absolutely perfect and exactly what I envisioned. I am still obsessed!! Everything came together so perfectly the day of, if anything went wrong, I had no idea! Nikki and her team made sure everything was set up beautifully, and on time. I had zero worries or concerns about anything planning related on the day of, and that's priceless!! The best money we spent on our wedding! I couldn't imagine doing this without her! I cannot reccomend this team enough! -

We hired Nikki to help with planning about two months before the (micro) wedding - it was the best decision we made! We have been to Asheville many times, but not being local, we relied on Nikki for vendor suggestions, local knowledge and coordinating directly with our venue. Not only did she help keep me sane (and decrease the number of sleepless nights) during the planning process, but she made the day-of go off without a hitch. She even gathered up our belongings, including dinner, cupcakes and ice cream sandwich leftovers, at the end of the night. We also used Nikki for our flowers - we were in awe when we stepped into the venue. She transformed the brewery into a beautiful space for both the ceremony and reception. Nikki made our wedding even more beautiful and perfect than we could've imagined. -

Nikki was easily the best decision we made when wedding planning. From the start, Nikki was super organized and very easy to work with. She met with us as much as we wanted and the only times she didn't get back to an email within 24 hours was when she was on maternity leave with her beautiful new baby :) She organized and managed all of our vendors and wedding party the weekend of the wedding. Everything was just perfect, and I know it's because Nikki was running the show the whole time in the background. We never worried about a single logistic come the morning of the wedding. We loved working with Nikki so much, we also contracted her to do our flowers and help find a few vintage-inspired pieces to complete our wedding day vision. The flowers were a dream. She helped us cut costs by running some substitutions the week of, based on what was fresh and available. Do yourself a favor and hire Nikki and her team. -

Nikki and her team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. I planned my wedding in Asheville, NC from Boston - which I found to be no easy task! Despite this, Nikki worked with me in whatever capacity was needed. If I ever had a stress, concern, or question (no matter how big or small) she always responded in a timely fashion and immediately calmed me down. During the rehearsal and the wedding, she was fantastic at coordinating everyone with shocking efficiency (we had a large wedding party with a lot of excitement, all the time) and a smile on her face. Our night could not have been better and Carolina Love Events was a huge part in making that happen! -

It's been three months since my wedding day, and in hindsight, I am even more sure now than I was then that hiring Nikki was the best hiring decision I made throughout the whole process. She's super chill personally and extremely easy to get along with. She's also incredibly organized - working with her was essentially like taking a multiple choice test (while working without her would have been like having to take an essay-answer test). She researched and brought me vendor options/decor options/etc. that fit me and my then-fiance/now-husband, and we picked best fit, or she would go back to the drawing board, if necessary. Day of the wedding, I did not have to worry about one single detail. Nikki and Pankti took care of everything (including making sure the marriage license was signed and sent so that we are actually legally married). There are so many wonderful things I could say about Nikki and how easy she made this process. We knew as soon as we spoke with her (and we spoke with a few before her), that she was the wedding planner for us, and I would gladly send her to all of my closest friends and family who needed planning services for an event. -

Carolina Love events is a life saver! We hired them for their day of coordinator service and was not disappointed. Both the rehearsal dinner and the entire wedding day ran perfectly smooth. They had thought of everything and were there for every step of the day. We were able to enjoy our day and let them take care of the whole timeline. I am truly grateful for them and all they did above and beyond what was expected. From picking up the flowers from the florist to putting ice cubes on my mosquito bites (yes, really) to making sure we had a drink in hand for toasts and helping load gifts, decorations and leftover cake at the end of the night. We had nothing to worry about with our day in their hands. Several guests asked who we used as our coordinator and I can't recommend them enough! -

MVP of our wedding
Nikki was our day of coordinator for our destination wedding at Homewood. Nikki was on top of all wedding plans and spot-on with her vendor recommendations. She also did the decor for our wedding - wrapping two chandeliers with greenery, all table centerpieces, and a garland. Her prices are very fair and I am so glad I left all of that to Nikki on our wedding day. On the big day, I was relaxed because she set everything up, checked-in with us, and kept us on schedule. Everything was so perfect, organized, and guests had a great time. If you want a low stress wedding, Nikki is your gal! Couldn’t have asked for more. -

Being in Raleigh while we were planning a wedding in Asheville seemed like a big task, but Nikki already had so many connections and recommendations for vendors, she made it a breeze. Julie Sent on 05/07/2018Nikki did a fabulous job for us. We wanted a small destination wedding that represented us and our new life together. She made it easy to handle things from long distance. We are both people that like to plan and she was patient with our eagerness to start planning earlier than was probably necessary.
We had planned an outdoor ceremony with no backup plan but mother nature decided otherwise. Nikki provided options that allowed us to decide up to the morning of the wedding, in hopes the rain might hold off. She was easy to work with and attentive during our few days in Asheville.
We truly enjoyed working with her. -

Nikki and her team were amazing through the whole process. We hired for the Day of Coordination Package, but still felt they went above and beyond and were able to answer questions throughout the entire planning process. Early on she even sent us a detailed day of and day before schedule. Down to the quarter hour!
Haley and Kristi were there the day of, and helped make sure everything went smoothly. It truly was a load off my mind, with my tendency to worry and try and fix things myself. Very glad I had them on my team! -

Our original venue required us to use Carolina Love Events as our Wedding Coordinators - which was a good thing considering I previously followed them on Instagram and fell in love with what they offered. When COVID hit - we initially had a 200+ person wedding planned but at the last minute (a month before our wedding date, actually) - Nikki and her team were able to quickly adjust our plan to include only 42 people. It was an amazing Plan B because of Nikki's quick adjustments to the new venue and coordinating with all of our vendors....thank GOD! To be completely honest, I wish I had a more personal relationship with the team because, at times, I felt like they had so much going on (granted, we were planning during a worldwide pandemic…) that our day wasn't as special as I thought it should be. (I know, I know, I sound ridiculous because all Brides want their day to be the only focus for their Coordinator, but being a Wedding Coordinator in the past, my vision was that we would be besties (lol) and I didn’t get that feeling.) I do, however, highly recommend Carolina Love Events for making your day look and feel as your best day ever - Nikki listens to your concerns and offers help with your budget. She knows the area vendors very well (we live in South Carolina and didn’t know the area as much) and will work super hard to get things planned at your liking. Thank you, girls, for the most beautiful Plan B ever and wish you all the luck in the future! -
