Carey was wonderful to work with. She was organized, very responsive, and helpful in finalizing my timeline for the day. The photos turned out beautiful. We loved her documentary style of the event. And we have received so many compliments on our photos from friends and family.

I was looking for a documentary style, that really focused on the people and the moment in a pure way without a forced, editorial look. She delivered on that and then some, with beautiful, honest photos of the day that captured our family, the time and the place, and of course our love.

It is also worth noting that Carey worked with us through two COVID reschedules, and could not have been more kind and easy to work with. That same easy way of being of course came through on our wedding day. She was so calm and easy to work with. We got all photos done ahead of schedule and she stayed close all night to make sure we got all the shots of family and friends that we had hoped for. Her kindness and energy were a beautiful addition to our day and the final images are spectacular.

2020 Wedding planning was unbelievably challenging but finding Carey was the happiest accident. When our large Catskill summer wedding had to be canceled we ended up planning a micro wedding at Frankie's 457 in BK in 3 weeks. Carey was on board for a very last minute wedding plan and worked seamlessly with all of the challenges of the day. I mentioned that I was not a fan of most wedding pictures but also didn't want trendy or contrived photos. While we were all were masked for a large part of the celebration, Carey managed to capture the joy of the occasion. She was a calm and positive presence and even my photopgraher friends commented on her cameras and technique. Our photos are stunning and while we had limited time for pictures she managed to create timeless images that we will cherish even when 2020 is a distant memory. The description of Carey's style is spot on. She authentically documents the event and still makes sure you have a few of the traditional couple shots to frame. I very highly recommend Carey if you are looking of beautiful images and not just a posed portraits.
