Two words: BOOK HER! Cara photographed our wedding a couple weeks ago - not only is she super talented (just got our sneak peek photos and they're incredible) but she's also so great to work with and kind.

My husband (who hates pictures) and I both agreed how easy it felt on the wedding day because of Cara and how much fun we had. She was so helpful and made everything feel so calm despite the craziness. She helped keep us on schedule and was so on top of things, even bustled my dress for me, fixed my veil, etc.! Can't recommend her enough!!!

Cara is not only an incredible photographer, but was also a lifesaver on our wedding day! We loved all of her work, and were still blown away with our images. Cara managed to capture so many beautiful moments, making time for planful photos and then capturing the best moments and candid's. We were especially grateful that Cara went the extra mile, stepping in to help us in ways we hadn't planned for. She is a true artist and professional, and was a pleasure to work with, we couldn't be happier with our experience!

Cara’s photographs are gorgeous and she is a joy to work with. She is an incredible artist who lovingly enmeshes herself into your wedding–in the best way, she feels like a friend who just happens to carry multiple cameras and is insanely talented. We were first drawn to working with Cara because of her photographs, and then felt even more sure in our decision once we had spoken with her and visited her studio for our engagement session. Not only will she leave you with gorgeous shots from the day, but she will be a warm, relaxed, welcoming presence to anyone who feels shy having their photo taken, and truly gets to know your friends and family throughout the weekend. We’re sad we don’t have an immediate reason to work with her again in the near-future, but we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. Whether for a wedding or another special occasion, she is the best.

I can’t recommend Cara enough. Cara shot both my engagement and wedding photos and they truly came out so stunning. My husband and I aren’t the biggest fans of getting our photos taken but Cara made us feel so comfortable and at ease within minutes of meeting her. It felt like we were long time friends! She got through our shot list so quickly and efficiently and then got stellar candid shots so we could enjoy our reception. She brings such a fun and energetic energy and was always hyping us up. And, photos came out absolutely gorgeous. She has such a creative eye and it comes across so clearly in her work. Truly the photos look like magazine material. Also, my sneak peak was huge, all of my recently married friends were shocked at how quickly I received such a large batch of truly stunning photos. If you’re getting married or need a professional photographer for anything, hire Cara. She is the best around!

Cara and Tina were such an incredible and fun team to work with for our wedding day, and the photos came out absolutely stunning! Not only was Cara able to capture the feeling of our day perfectly, leading up to the wedding she was responsive, so kind, and answered any questions or concerns we had for capturing such a large group at the wedding. Cara’s photography packages were customizable, and ours included an engagement session at her studio. She even provided an option to add on some film photography and it gave our pictures a unique touch. Their direction during our bridal party and family shots felt so natural and everyone had a smooth experience. We got the sneak peak photos back so quickly that we actually got to relive some of these moments while still on our honeymoon, which was amazing. Thank you again, Cara and Tina - highly recommend!

We have a stunning collection of photos from our wedding day thanks to Cara! She is a joy to be around, which helped make our wedding day so fun and easeful. She had a great idea for our first look that I never would have thought of, and snuck us away for a gorgeous golden hour shoot which are some of my favorite photos (it was so hard to pick favorites from the huge number of photos she provided). She was our only photographer, and the photos make it seem like she could be in 3 places at once! She has amazing energy, talent and professionalism. We feel so lucky she was available on our wedding day.

Cara and her assistant shot our wedding and did an amazing job. More than just gifted artists, Cara and crew brought a terrific energy and enthusiasm to the job, actively helped coordinate and wrangle people for needed photos day of, and appeared to be in almost constant motion to capture the best shots during the whole 9+ hours of our event. Consummate professionals who are worth every penny!

Cara is such a special person-- she is warm, accommodating, laid back, funny, and talented. But most of all, she is unapologetically herself, and her photographs carry the same depth of spirit that makes her so wonderful to be around. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else there with us on our wedding day.

Cara was not only so kind and easy to work with, but made two very uncomfortable photography subjects feel at ease the entire day! Our pictures turned out better than i could have dreamed up and Cara was able to wrangle my very large, very loud family and capture most of the best moments of the day! I found cara after falling in love with a wedding photo that actually looked "real" that our venue had posted on instagram. Cara is able to capture your wedding in a way that doesnt look staged and exudes authenticity. I couldnt thank Cara, or recommend her enough... So now my brother and his fiance have hired her and i cant wait to see their beautiful photos as well! Thanks cara for capturing such artful photos!

We had an excellent experience with Cara Totman as our wedding photographer. So excellent, in fact, that we subsequently hired her for a family get-together and private shoot at her studio as well.

Cara has a great personality and made us feel comfortable on our day. We eloped to city hall, so it was just the three of us, and we never felt awkward that the camera was on us for the entire time. Our photos are stunning (and we even got previews the same day) and every single person who has seen them comments on how beautiful they are. She was responsive, flexible (before, in the planning stages and on the day-of), laid-back, and communicative.

Would hire Cara again in a heartbeat--we probably will!
