Cappy was a pleasure to work with from the very first interaction I had with her. She is full of joy and excitement about her work and it really comes through. We are extremely happy with both the engagement photos and our wedding photos—especially the photos of our reception. She captured the joy and excitement of the day so incredibly well. Looking through the albums allowed us to relive the day together and gave us so many fun snaps of our guests enjoying the party. Neither of us are comfortable in front of a camera, but she somehow managed to help us relax and enjoy the experience, making the pictures even more beautiful. Cappy was there for every important moment of our day without being overwhelming. We all laughed with her during the posed shots of our family and bridal party and she managed to somehow work her way around the dance floor seamlessly to get the most amazing pictures of the party. Being able to see these and share them with family and friends has brought us so much joy and laughter. Cappy is incredibly talented, fun, and easy to work with—zero drama and all smiles. She was on time with everything, including the turnaround of the albums. She brought a second photographer with her to our wedding, Teresa, who was also amazing and they made a GREAT team. We would recommend her work to anyone!

Cappy shot our September 2018 wedding and we could not have been happier! She made sure to get all portraits that we requested while also getting a ton of candids. Cappy agreed to meet us when we called her for a last minute meeting in Kingston. We are so happy that we found her and that she was able to accomodate us! Cappy was absolutely amazing. We planned a destination wedding to NY and was one of the recommendations made by the manager from our wedding venue. I think what drew my attention to Cappy first was her pretty business card and portfolio:). On the day of our wedding, we were running behind and Cappy ensured that we obtained the desired "posed" photos and kept moving us along. She was so personable and made everyone comfortable. Guest commented on how delightful Cappy and her assistant were. She was very easy to work with and quick to respond to emails. I also loved that she is a documentary photographer. Overall, we highly recommend Cappy. She was such a delight.

Finding the ideal wedding photographer can certainly be a daunting task - at least it felt that way for us. It's one of those decisions that you REALLY want to get right; as once your big day has passed all you have left are those photos. I first noticed Cappy's exquisite photography in Brides magazine and was so impressed that I immediately marked the article never thinking that I would be fortunate enough to work with her. That wedding actually took place in the same location as ours - Bridgehampton, NY. Could it be a sign that we were meant to be? Yes!! I was introduced to the miraculous Cappy a second time when our Wedding Coordinator (see my review for The Wedding Sitter) listed her on a preferred vendor list. After researching online into the wee hours & spending multiple lunch breaks on the phone with different photographers, the wedding Gods finally had mercy on me & brought Cappy & I together.

Please do yourself a favor & check out Cappy's website ASAP! Her work is stunning & truly captures the essense of each unique couple & event. She is a true artist & so she dedicates her entire being into her work (i.e., YOUR wedding day). Writing about the experience is bringing tears to my eyes because I am so deeply grateful. She used digital, REAL film & a very cool vintage camera! Her photographs have depth & feeling much like Cappy herself. She is an extraordinary woman and very fun to work with. We felt comfortable with her right away. Now move quickly because Cappy is published in all the fab wedding rags & you'll be a lucky bride if she's available. Our experience with Cappy was wonderful. She really understood the look we were going for at our wedding, the pictures at both our beach house and the vineyard came out beautiful!

Cappy shot both our wedding and rehearsal dinner. WE LOVE our photos. She is so sweet and professional and truly captured all of the important moments throughout both days. We didn't have a videographer and I feel like our pictures easily tell the story of both nights. She even managed to get all of the "posed" shots thad we had requested.
