If i could give 100 stars I would!! Where can I even begin with Bryan, he was simply a delight to work with in every aspect. From scheduling our shoot til the day of, Bryan was prompt with his responses and extremely detail oriented. The day of our shoot was so seamless, Bryan made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera and in front of all of new york who watched as we took our photos at the top of the rock. Bryan was so accommodating, kind and provided such a calming energy for us and our photos reflected that. On top of being so personally wonderful, his photos not only captured our vision, but exceeded anything we had in mind, and quickest turnaround I have ever experienced (i’m talking next day!!!!). So long story short, if you find yourself needing a photographer, I couldn’t recommend Bryan enough.

I have been a fan of Bryan Sargent for four years, since he shot the early pandemic Central Park elopement of two friends of mine. The way he covered the wedding and so beautifully captured the love and joy of two people in an incredibly trying time was stunning, and I knew when it was my turn he would be the first - and only - call. Bryan has a talent for finding the unexpected moments that make a wedding unique: a quiet moment between flower girl and grandfather; a shared secret between bride and maid of honor; a high five between groom and friend. Shooting a wedding for Bryan is not about checking boxes and taking pictures of what makes them all the same, but instead he finds those elements that make each unique. Reviewing our edit after the wedding, we were struck by how much energy and life he managed to get into every frame. Despite being a solo shooter he is somehow everywhere, never missing a single moment while slipping into the background.

But that’s just his photographic talent; what’s behind the camera is even more special. He’s kind and funny and laid back. We hadn’t thought about doing an engagement shoot but I’m glad we did because Bryan’s approach puts his subjects at ease, making gentle suggestions when you don’t know how to pose and snapping when candid moments occur. My husband and I feel like we’ve made a lifelong friend – something I think he probably makes every couple he works with feel.
