I can’t imagine how this wedding would’ve gone without Melissa. Her knowledge of Catalina Island, the vendors, the logistics, and overall what to expect was incredibly valuable. She was organized, flexible, and fun, all at the same time! I have left the experience wishing she could help manage my business and even my home/personal life!

Melissa and her team were incredible from day one! My husband and I were hands on with our wedding planning and we thought we could wing our wedding by ourselves. Not to mention, we only had 8 months to plan on top of my husband being out of town half the time and me working 2 jobs! Gladly, Melissa was there to keep us on track!

Whenever I think about our wedding, I think about how smooth everything went despite all the challenges we had that day. Melissa assured my husband and I that we were stress-free and that everything was handled. She reacted calmly to every stressful situation! We were unfortunate to have had a terrible church coordinator, a late florist and unpredictable weather but Melissa was there every step of the way to assure that all our planning and efforts would not go wasted. Our whole wedding party was so impressed of how organized and professional her and her whole team were! She communicated well with the rest of our vendors (photographers & videographers), made necessary adjustments & followed through with our timeline. And it turned out perfectly, more than my husband and I would've imagined.

Melissa is not your typical wedding planner. She is YOUR go-to girl for everything! She has a huge network of vendors, seriously ask her for anything and she has an answer for you! She is so compassionate and really cares about making her couples happy and comfortable. The amount of work and effort she puts in behind the scenes is incredible. I could not have wanted anyone else but Melissa and her team. They are honest and practical and I am forever grateful for all their help. They will go out of their way to make sure everything goes as planned. That's why I felt so at ease on my wedding day because we trusted her & she delivered above and beyond. Their approach to planning wedding and their attention to detail helped me & my husband have the wedding of our dreams.

Melissa and her team were wonderful! They are so friendly, easy to work with and will do their very best to make your wedding dreams come true. I can honestly say that my wedding would not have ran as smoothly without them. Speaking with my family, bridal party and vendors I realized that Melissa and her staff were all over the place making sure every wedding detail was accounted for. Furthermore, they were approachable to everyone and were professional in the most stressful times. My husband and I enjoyed every minute with Melissa from planning to execution. I highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking or even considering a wedding coordinator.

Only gave 5 Stars cause it won't let me add more. Melissa became our saving grace! A month before our wedding, our original planner had bailed on us. My wife contaced Melissa, who was our assigned "Day Off" planner that was provided by the Maya, and she saw how distressed we were, especially because she was aware of how unprofessional our original planner was!
Melissa came in and went full throttle on making sure our wedding plans were met and even added ideas we didn't even think of! Personally, Melissa was able to help me with a few surprises i wanted to give my wife, like getting a florist to arrange a delivery of a thousand yellow daisies on the morning of the wedding and getting a DJ to help me with a mix for a dance routine performed by me and my groomsmen.
Her staff was espicially helpful on the day off. Elijah (hope I spelled that correctly), was with is to and from the church and venue to make sure that we were on schedule, while Melissa did her magic to aet up the finishing touches for our reception!
I cannot say enough about Melissa, she is the bomb and I would recommend her to any couple who needs the perfect wedding!

Amazing wedding planner and without a doubt the best one ever! Melissa saved us mid-crisis when our original wedding planner decided to bail out on us and just disappeared. She took over like the champ that she is. She is amazing, fun and easy to work with. My wedding day couldn't have been anymore special and perfect thanks to her. She is truly a blessing in diguise and I can thank her enough for being by our side. I miss her already and wished I had worked with her the whole way. But I'm so glad she accomplished everything we wanted and needed within a month's planning. I would and will highly recommend her to all my future bride friends and family members without a doubt.

I always thought I could plan and manage a wedding of my own, so initially I thought I would not get any value from having a wedding planner/day of coordinator. I thought anyone one can do it. Let me be the first to say I WAS WRONG.

Looking back at my wedding and the amount of planning and effort it took in making it the best day of my life, I can honestly say that Melissa and her staff were a critical factor in it. They will assure that your wedding runs as smoothly as possible and if there are any hiccups, know that they will always find a solution and likely make the situation better than originally planned.

Melissa and her staff were punctual, organized, creative, generous, respectful, trustworthy and most importantly, they had a sincere passion in making your wedding vision come to life. They are flexible in their meeting times, quick to respond to any of your questions at any time of the day and have the tools, connections and experience that you cannot gain from just researching online.

Boutique Event Planning was AMAZING!! Melissa is the owner and she went above and beyond to help customize a package that fit our needs and our budget. Alijah was in charge of our wedding this past October and I can't imagine anyone better. She was always so at ease and helpful, she handled so many details and came up with great ideas that I wouldn't have ever thought of myself. Our wedding day went so smooth and it was truest one of the best days because of all of the time and work these planners put in! Also Mac and Leah were a part of Alijah's team the day of and my husband and I really enjoyed working with all of them! Not enough good things to say about Melissa and her Team! We met Melissa through one of my husband's family members who had worked with Melissa almost a decade ago when she was doing corporate events on the East Coast and who highly recommended her. After having worked with her ourselves to plan our wedding over the past year, I can easily say that Melissa was an invaluable asset to planning our wedding and a ton of fun to work with! From day one, she made us feel comfortable, laid out what to expect, and provided thoughtful and creative ideas to match our vision (or to provide visions where we had none). We started working with her after having some major vendors picked out already (venue and caterers), yet she was able to review all of the contracts and negotiate on our behalf to get everything we wanted and keep us within our budget, in ways that we could not have accomplished on our own. On the days approaching the wedding, Melissa and her team worked so hard to get everything together, kept everything running smoothly, and treated our families and friends like their own. It was truly reassuring to have such a caring and experienced team working with us. In fact, the day itself was nowhere near as hectic for us as our friends said it would be, or even as much of a blur as Melissa herself said it would be! Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and we are so grateful for Melissa and her team. Highly recommended!

Melissa was the best "vendor" we worked with out of everyone for our wedding. She is helpful, full of ideas and suggestions, and fun! She was contracted for us through the Maya in Long Beach, and her alone was worth the cost of our wedding. Anytime I had questions large or small she was available, any requests I made she made them happen. The day of our wedding there was another wedding before ours and she managed to be there for that wedding and give them attention while making sure everyone in our wedding was taken care of too. I can not say enough about her she is truly amazing!
