What could be harder than picking a wedding venue??? It’s literally the most important part of the process (other than getting engaged). I felt like I looked at every possible site in the area for our 4/18/15 wedding. We had a budget we had to work with but didn’t want anything low end. This is a tough combination. Then we found The Blackrock Center. It was absolutely ideal for us. Easily accessible, tons of free parking, large enough to accommodate us and just a beautiful space. We got married there and had our reception there. It worked out awesome! Not only was the space a great fit, their coordinator Cindy Majane was GREAT to work with. She had great referrals of vendors, suggestions for the ceremony and was very instrumental in the planning process. Then came the Day Of. I was an older bride. I have probably been in 20 weddings. The biggest crisis I have ever seen at a wedding was my wedding! 2 of the bridesmaids dresses (my teenage nieces) had faulty zippers. They were totally broken so their backs were completely exposed. I had the emergency kit with safety pins and needle and thread---not at all helpful in this situation. I had Cindy look at the situation. She called 2 contacts, they came right over to Blackrock and sewed the girl’s right in!!! She was a life saver!!! I would highly recommend Blackrock-the pictures were great, there was plenty of room and a great layout and Cindy is the best in the business in my book!

A beautiful and classy venue to host a wedding to remember. My husband and I married at BlackRock on August 22, 2014 and it was absolutely perfect. The Event Coordinator, Cindy, worked with us for almost a year as we planned our special day. She made herself available whenever we needed to conduct a walk through, ask questions, or simply obtain reassurance that things would go as planned. Her expertise in event planning helped us through the wedding process and I can’t thank her enough for EVERYTHING she did for us on our wedding day. Cindy ran around the venue helping us with the setup, ensuring people were in place, answering questions, moving boxes, and doing anything else we needed to make our day memorable. I must also extend SPECIAL THANKS to the technical staff Conner and Tito and the front desk crew. You guys were excellent and we truly appreciated all that you did for us.

If you are looking for a unique venue with all the bells and whistles then BlackRock is the place.

I just had my wedding this past weekend so everything is still fresh in my head. I can't believe I found this more than perfect venue for my wedding. It fit perfectly with my contemporary artistic theme, and everything was a total production. We used the theater, the lobby and the ballroom, and fit about 180 people. It was beautiful, our ceremonies were performed on the stage, and all of the lighting and coordination all taken care of by the great staff at Black Rock The coordinator Cindy made sure everything was on point and walked us through the entire event before hand, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail about the production was there. I was in love with the lighting the most, I didn't have to hire anyone outside to help with that. The venue also takes your own caterer, so no contract needed! This was the only most flexible venue I could fine. All of the guests loved it and asked left and right about renting the venue for their own personal uses. If I could have the wedding all over again, I would still choose BlackRock, the convenience for my family in the area made it worth while.
