The short version is: hire Becks Entertainment. At least talk to him, and then you'll see why. Jerry didn't just listen to me, he *heard* me, and took time to understand us and our guests. On top of that, he is patient and kind and mellow, so working with him was soothing during the chaos of my diy backyard wedding planning. And because he's been a DJ/emcee for decades, Jerry flexed his song choices based on the vibe of the crowd, and he needed zero hand holding to do so (unlike other DJs I've seen). Jerry made the entire process SOOO easy, from start to finish. He responded quickly to my initial inquiry and was transparent on pricing and contract terms. After signing the contract, I he gave me access to an online platform that enabled me choose: 1) songs that must be played, 2) songs I'd like played if possible, and 3) songs to not play. Jerry called to check in with me a week before my wedding to confirm his dress code and, more importantly, to talk through my song choices so he could make sure he was fully supporting my vision - like, he pre-listened to my important songs ("Finally" by CeCe Peniston was our grand entrance song), and he modified them to have the right part of the song start at just the right time! On our wedding day, I was already wrapped up in getting ready, and Jerry set up with minimal assistance from my husband and family. The whole event ran absolutely perfectly even though I wasn't able to speak more than 2 words to him the entire time! He emceed each moment at the right time, played all the rights songs, and vibed with my guests to make it an unforgettable day. My only complaint is that I didn't get to tip him more before he left!

If I plan another event, I'm definitely calling Jerry.

He was absolutely amazing and totally in tune with the vibe of the wedding event. Not only did he ask a bunch of questions, but he was also super dedicated to making sure the music and the whole flow of the wedding went according to plan. Plus, he's just a really cool and down-to-earth DJ with loads of talent. I would totally recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.

Omg I can't say enough about Jerry and his DJ skills!! I hired him for my wedding on 11/11/22 at the Bali Hai and from the time I hired him he was very professional and made sure to discuss my vision of the music for my wedding from the first conversation. I remember I told him my dad loved the BeeGees (my dad passed away 15 years ago) and Jerry played a BeeGees song after our first dance it really meant a lot to me. Plus he seriously read my crowd at the wedding by playing the perfect songs and even came out to the dance floor to show us a dance . So many times I would be talking to different guests and family members and would hear a special song play and I wanted to yell out to Jerry "Omg I love this song!! " lol but didn't want to be rude to my guest haha ... Jerry was also interactive with the crowd and had us play a game to win the flower centerpieces - everyone was laughing and having a great time! So many people came up to me after the wedding telling me how nice my dj was and how he played such great music!! I'm sooo thankful for him and can't recommend him enough! Plus Jerry played all the main songs perfectly at the right timing! - the garder song, bouquet toss , introduction song , cake cutting song and walk down isle song. Plus he even played the country song I wanted as my last song of the night I am just over the moon at how everything turned out that day and how smoothly everything went and a lot of it was because of Jerry. He gave me good suggestions prior to my wedding which I loved I seriously could go on and on. I'll forever be thankful to you Jerry for making my day so magical

Jerry made our wedding. He was beyond accommodating and walked us through everything! We planned our wedding in 3 weeks with no planner or coordinator. He helped direct us through all the ins and outs. Jerry has an amazing personality and everyone raved about how great of a DJ he is. Also, I found it very helpful that he has a portal that his clients can log into to select songs or select songs that are an absolute no-go. I would definitely recommend hiring Jerry!!

Beck was recommended by my sister in law since he helped with her wedding! We are glad we were able to have Beck be apart of our special day. He is fun , funny, attentive and professional. There are amateurs and there are pros and Jerry is an absolute pro. My wife and I came to love each other over music and it was very important to us to pick a DJ who could really read a room. Jerry checked every box; low maintenance, kind and friendly, and great taste in music. We gave him a few playlists with some music we listen to and asked him to use it as a guide for the type of vibe we were going for and he absolutely hit it out of the park. When you hire Jerry you’re getting the reassurance that you have one less thing to worry about on your big day. We won’t ever hire another DJ.

We saw him deejaying at a bridal event and knew immediately we wanted him for our wedding. Hire him. Just do it. Jerry was great! Everything was smooth and he played our favorite jams.
