Julie, Melanie, Holly, and Annie are the ultimate dream team in every way. Holly & Annie did a fabulous job with my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law - literally creating looks identical to the pictures they provided. My MIL wanted very subtle makeup and they accommodated her requests beautifully. Julie & Melanie were amazing from start to finish - starting with my trial and being so understanding & considerate to my requests. Julie knew I was not a makeup lover - and offered to use whatever products I liked and even bought the whole armani line when I told her that was what worked for me! She has such attention to detail, and would not quit until I was 100% happy. Melanie created the exact hairstyle I was going for, romantic waves that actually stayed in place. Still no idea how she got those halo extensions in my hair, but she did! I am so grateful to Julie & her team for making my whole bridal party happy, and being such a pleasure to work with!!

Julie was the make-up artist for my sisters wedding, maternity shoot, and baby shower. So I knew that she was talented. When I first met her at my sisters wedding she was so kind and easy to work with. She has since expanded her business to incorporate more talented artists. She was very accommodating especially when I had to add another girl to the schedule a week before the wedding. Julie and Melanie were the ones who did my hair and make-up. They were very accommodating for my trails, which was a struggle due to Covid and me living over 3 hours away! They nailed exactly what I wanted and working with me to make sure it was perfect. When they were finished on my wedding day, I cannot believe how beautiful I looked and felt! They did an amazing job! Since I had 10 people getting hair and make up done, Alexis and Dana were also there. Everyone loved the way they looked!

I had the pleasure of working with Ashley Cruz for my wedding. She is beyond talented at what she does. My hair and makeup was perfect throughout the entire day. I am by so pleased with the service I received from Julie and Melanie. Growing up a “tomboy” I never put in a lot of effort when it came to hair and make up, and I still have an extremely minimalistic routine (0 makeup and a quick dose of mousse/hairspray to curl and tame frizzy wavy hair).

Not only does Julie have an eye for detail, she listens to the needs and wants of her clients. In our through preliminary phone call Julie got a sense of my style, our wedding aesthetic, and the needs of the other members of the wedding party. She promptly followed up that phone call with a quote for her services and from that day forward I knew I was going to be well taken care of.

I came in for both a hair and make up trial on a busy Saturday afternoon, but I never once felt like other clients took priority over my trial. As someone who doesn’t wear makeup I felt like I was a difficult client because I didn’t have any preferences on things I liked or disliked. My baseline was “I want to look like myself, but a little fancier for photos.” I was a blank canvas for Julie, and during this visit I realized just how much skill and creativity is required to be a make up artist. Julie took specific notes about what i liked so shed be ready to recreate it on my wedding day. look for the wedding day. I knew I wanted my hair half up/half down with a braid and Melanie delivered just that. She even suggested a few different small details I could incorporate into the braid. The day of the wedding Julie and Melanie arrived at our hotel ready to work their magic for myself, my mother and 3 of my bridesmaids. Julie and Melanie were professional, and blended seamlessly into the groups conversation. Special shoutout to Melanie for helping my mom secure her wig! (which we hadn’t previously agreed to). Julie and Melanie were a breeze to work with, but most importantly they’re extremely skilled and personable. I’m so glad I trusted them for my special day.

I have heard so many friends horror stories regarding “natural looks” but Julie really heard me and truly made me feel like a natural beauty! On top of her hearing my preferences and feedback, she was so much fun to be around - I felt like she was a friend of mine on my wedding day, who just happens to be super talented at makeup. I did two trials with her, as we couldn’t decide on airbrushing or not - and it was absolutely worth it, she is so talented and doesn’t have a heavy hand, my airbrushing still looked natural! I felt truly radiant on my wedding day, but also felt and looked like myself.

I had my entire bridal party get ready at the salon, even though it was just me for makeup and three girls for hair. They were so accommodating and it was wonderful to get ready there, away from the ceremony site with all the setup chaos, it was a super fun and relaxing morning with Julie and her team.

One more gushing note about Julie, she’s really accommodating. When I originally booked months out from our wedding date, I had four bridesmaids planned for hair, but as the wedding approached, only three decided to go with professional hair. Julie was so understanding and allowed a small modification of our agreement - taking away any stress that might have incurred from the confusion. I’m sure it’s circumstance specific, but she was willing to work with me and I very much appreciated it.

Our hair also turned out amazing - our lead hair was Melanie and she was a wonder to work with. She heard all my bridesmaids wishes and they looked phenomenal. Also, her flower placement for your hair is unmatched, natural and beautiful!

Bottom line: book Julie and her hair team, If I lived in the area and be a frequent visitor!

Julie and her partner were very flexible for our prep before the long day! All of my bridesmaids loved their make-up! Julie is very-detailed oriented and has an eye for the right colors to accentuate your features, especially eyes! Julie, thank you for making us all feel glamorous! She did an amazing job on my makeup trial, which gave me a chance to see what I wanted for the day and what I wanted to change, and she was so accommodating! I showed her pictures of examples I wanted when I met her for my trial, and she knocked it out of the park on the first try. (She is also a fellow Whovian, so we had plenty to talk about with my “Doctor Who” themed wedding.) Joseph and Melanie joined us to do my girls’ hair and makeup, and everyone looked stunning. Julie is the BEST!! I am so thankful I found her for my wedding! Julie was extremely professional and personable throughout the my entire planning process. I found Julie on the wedding apps and I’m so happy I did! It was wonderful to work with her - from my trial to the big day, she was the best! She was very professional, friendly, and truly listened to me and what I wanted. The feedback I gave after the trial was remembered and carried out on my wedding day and my makeup, as well as my wedding party’s, looked amazing!! She made everything so easy and stress free as well with an invoice right to my email a couple days before the wedding.

Julie was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was so friendly, personable, and professional. She was willing to travel to me and do just my make up as the bride which was so accommodating. After my trial, my mom decided to get her eyes done by Julie and she was willing to accommodate her as well and THEN the day of, my mom decided to have Julie do all of her make up and Julie didn't even flinch, she was so flexible with all the last minute changes.
