The Beach Terrace Inn is the only beach front property in Carlsbad and surrounding area. The Ocean Longe and Outdoor Deck are rented together and can host up to 50 guests who will be amazed by full views of the Pacific Ocean. No permit is needed to be wed next to the waves, plus there are no food and beverage minimums. You may choose any licenced caterer and create an event that meets your budget goals and culinary desires. This intimate and uniquely positioned hotel is NOT the standard corporate ballroom setting. It is open and relaxing. It is for couples who want to be wed with the sound of waves, the joy of toes in the sand, and the tranquility of sunset.

Beach Terrace Inn has a wedding advisor on site who can assist you with all arrangements. We also have highly accomplished wedding planners we can refer, plus creative and trusted catering and bar service vendors.

We just had our wedding here on May 20th, and you could not imagine a more relaxed environment. Not only are the hotel rooms comfortable, large, and have every amenity you could ever want, but the location is absolutely perfect for a wedding. Because the weddings take place down on the beach, your guests and bridal party can be comfortable in their clothing (and go without shoes in the sand--yay!), but the best part is that nobody has to get in a car after the ceremony and drive to the reception or drive after the reception. The lounge and deck combo upstairs on street level is charming as-is. The colors in the lounge are warm and neutral, the facility had a full makeover recently so everything is fresh and clean, and the staff could NOT be more friendly and helpful. We had been guests there in the past, we got engaged there last November, and we could not have chosen a better facility to have our wedding at. Thank you Beach Terrace Inn, and we will see you at our first anniversary!

My husband and I just got married here last week. It was the most perfect day I could ask for. Never mind the mere fact that venue is located on the beach; on top of the beautiful setting, the Beach Terrace Inn and its staff were amazing. They helped plan a most spectacular day for me and my husband! Everything about it was perfect! Constance was there for me continuously and was always ready to help with whatever I needed, as well as actually contacting the rental company directly and recommending other vendors. I would highly and gladly recommend the Beach Terrace Inn to anyone considering a beach wedding!!! You will not be disappointed.
