We used Balazs Events to plan our May 2026 wedding and cannot recommend them enough. When my fiancee and I were touring venues in Columbia, we kept hearing "Parris is great," "Parris takes care of everything," "We love all planners but man... Parris is the best," so I knew we needed to check her out and she did not disappoint.
All I had to do throughout the planning process was tell her what I wanted, then my work was done. I never had to deal directly with vendors or worry about how the sausage got made.
It was important to me that my mom enjoy our wedding day and celebration, and not be worrying or handling any logistics, and the Balazs team delivered on that. She said she had the VIP treatment on my wedding day even moreso than on her own, thanks to Parris' team. I've heard her tell several of her friends since then that they need to get a good planner for their daughters' weddings no matter the cost because it is worth it! We had a last-minute disaster with the original bridal bouquet, and Parris worked directly with our main floral vendor to make sure I ended up with the most beautiful bouquet. We also had missing rental equipment that they immediately addressed and took care of without allowing it to become our problem. Those are the kinds of things we will never forge; not because they happened, but because we never had to worry about them. They handled it.

My favorite thing about planning my wedding with Parris is that she let me take the reins on whatever was important to me and made everything else just...happen. So effortlessly it was like magic. I felt her constant commitment to making sure the day had my signature on it, even down to a few last minute changes I requested that she somehow brought to life.

My wedding day was genuinely the happiest day of my life. Parris planned every last detail. The sheer level of detail in her complete day-of schedule is seriously reason enough to book her. If there were any issues with vendors, guests, etc., I have still not heard about them over a month later. I was completely stress free and was able to be fully present in the bliss that comes from marriage to your best friend.
