Lisa Williams Event Planning

We found Lisa through a venue referral list and a quick Google search and an interest in the Lisa/Mark wedding duo. We booked them for
full planning and DJ services. There are not enough kind words to say about Lisa and her husband, Mark.
From my first conversation with Lisa on the phone, I knew she was down to earth, and wedding planning was something she was 100% passionate about. We came into our wedding with minimal inspiration and a very basic blueprint of what we wanted, and she truly curated our vendors to us and developed a day I will cherish, think about, and love forever. She met with us on so many occasions and came with us on an over year and a half journey. She was very patient with every request or mind change. She and her team worked with us to combine our cultures. Every bridal freak out was met with a calming presence in her and her figuring it out even if she didn't know the answer right away. I told everyone the morning of my wedding that I felt like I should be super worried and anxious, but I wasn’t, and I didn't know why. It was because Lisa was my planner, and I knew she would get it done the way we wanted.
Wedding day truly was 0 stress for me, and for that, I am eternally grateful. She truly became someone we grew to call a friend, and we were so sad when our time together was over. Highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for wedding planning needs.

Lisa was my wedding planner and her husband was my dj— and I couldn’t rave about them more!! My priority was to have a great day but also remain within my budget. Lisa went above and beyond to make that happen— she offered creative solutions beyond what I could of ever thought of and connected me with amazing vendors who offered great prices. As far at the dj— that makes or breaks a wedding! And mark crushed it— he was also creative and his personality is so fun it’s impossible to have a bad time. If you are getting married in Charleston I would highly recommend them both!

We started working with Lisa ~14 months prior to our wedding and she guided us every step of the way - helping to find vendors, get quotes, and providing recommendations to help our dreams come true. Since I was completing my residency and my husband works swing shifts, it would have been nearly impossible for us to do all of this ourselves, so Lisa was a huge blessing for us! And she was so flexible to work around our schedule so we could meet monthly to discuss planning.

I really loved the planning software she used, since she could add to my to-do list and include deadlines - this kept me on track!! It was so easy to do all of the planning within this one site.

Lisa also connected us with Hagan Williams DJs, and we worked with her husband Mark as our DJ and used their photobooth. We loved working with Mark as well and it made coordinating so easy since they work together!

The day of the wedding, Lisa and her team kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes!! Even when we got a little bit behind getting ready, things kept moving and I never felt stressed. If anything went wrong on the day of - I had no idea!! Lisa and her team set up all of my decor and it was so beautiful - better than I imagined!

On top of making our dreams come true, Lisa was amazing to work with! She was always positive and encouraging and she really got to know us as individuals, and as a couple, and always wanted to know how we were doing outside of wedding planning. We have missed our monthly meetings since the wedding!

Hired for our DJ after they Dj’d my sisters wedding May 2025. I just got married June 2026 and immediately knew who I wanted. Communication is great, vibes the day of are better! We also hired Lisa for planning day of. I loved her personality from my sisters wedding, and to be the bride this go around, I realized just why I loved her. She is the calm in the chaos! I got texts from guest about how great our day & dance floor were! The fit bit stats do not lie!!

Lisa was so helpful and accommodating throughout the wedding planning process. She was always responsive and a pleasure to work with! I really appreciated her expertise and knowledge throughout the process. Even with bad weather on my wedding day, she was able to deliver me all that I had envisioned and dreamed of for my wedding day!

We used Lisa as our wedding planner and her husband and son as our DJs and they were all amazing. She was kind, thorough, detailed, and thought of everything. She and her team executed the ceremony and reception perfectly and made the whole day stress free for me and my family. Mark and Hagan were an amazing DJ combo and kept the dance floor going all night long. My husband and I aren’t normally big dancers but we spent the whole reception on the dance floor because they made it so fun! We highly recommend them all!

I cannot say enough great things about Lisa! Not only is she the sweetest person, she is an incredible wedding planner. Our wedding would not have ran as smoothly and seamlessly without her. She is thorough, caring, and dedicated to executing your perfect vision for your day.
