Apple Ridge Farm is located in Copper Hill, Virginia. Our venue offers many rental spaces including a beautiful large timber frame pavilion perfect for outdoor ceremonies and a large formal indoor meeting space wonderful for receptions. Our 96 acre facility offers natural beauty, hiking trails, picnic areas, ball fields, and more!

By booking your wedding with Apple Ridge Farm, a 501 c3 nonprofit organization, you help to support our mission to tranform the lives of our community's underserved children and the families through engagment in unparalleled educational, cultural and outdoor experiences.

Facilities and Capacity

Apple Ridge Farm has a variety of rental spaces for guests to enjoy their special occasion. Our facility can accommodate wedding ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners. Numerous indoor and outdoor spaces are available for special events.

If a covered outdoor area is desired, our large timber frame Spangler Pavilion is the most popular choice for wedding ceremonies. The Meador Building is the premier space for the receptions with large windows, a stone fireplace, beautiful wooden floors, and a wrap-around deck. Both of these are located side by side for ease of access and flow.

Additional outdoor event spaces include our picnic area, the Lost Hollow Stage, the Garden Stage, and deck by our pond. Each area offers its own unique features, but all contain fantastic towering trees and sunlight filtering through the leaves. Parking and wheelchair access is available for wedding guests and outside vendors.

Licenses and Certificates

Couples are responsible for obtaining general liability insurance for the event and for providing a copy of the certificate of insurance to Apple Ridge Farm. If serving, couples must provide a copy of the ABC license as well.

Nearby Accomodations

Apple Ridge Farm is about 40 minutes away from Roanoke, Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and Rocky Mount; 43 minutes away from Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport; 6 miles away from the Blue Ridge Parkway; and 20 minutes from the Town of Floyd. Our Starr's House Lodge is available for bunk-style lodging. Our Caboose Car Bed & Breakfast rentals are available through Airbnb. Apple Ridge Farm wedding guests can receive a discount and complimentary shuttle at the Holiday Inn Tanglewood located in Roanoke, VA.
