Sarah was fantastic - we loved the photos from both our engagement session and the wedding itself. She knew how to take great advantage of our venue, was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process, and the photos themselves came out stunning. Could not recommend more highly.

I cannot speak enough great things about Sarah from Anchored Roots Photography. First she is literally the sweetest person and very attentive. As soon as we met her during our engagement session we knew that we were so happy we hired her. She has a wonderful eye to capture the most unique photographs and truly documents the day which was very important to me. I wanted a photographer that was able to bring you back to the moments and Sarah truly does that. On the day of the wedding she came early and jumped right into detail shots and also stayed later. Sarah also worked wonders with the interesting dynamics of my family which is a challenge in itself. When my husband and I went with John and her to take our portraits it was the most fun experience. It did not feel at all like staged boring photos. Everyone was laughing and it was probably one of my favorite moments of the wedding. Even my husband was having such a good time and he doesn’t love getting photos taken. In addition, I had mentioned being interested in sparkler photos, but I did not order the sparklers in time and she showed up with sparklers and made sure that we got some sparkler photos. I also cannot stress how incredibly talented Sarah is. All of her photos are so beautiful and I just cannot wait to see how she captured our wedding, but I know they will be stunning! I 100% recommend using Sarah from Anchored Roots Photography as your wedding photographer and promise you will not regret it!

Truly INCREDIBLE! I had family asking about her and telling me how impressed they were not only by her talent, but also by her demeanor. I couldn’t agree more! I hired Sarah for our wedding for a June 2020 wedding, so we were a COVID postponed wedding. Not only was she flexible and understanding, a much-needed calm during a not so relaxing time, but she was extraordinarily friendly, reaching out and making a personal connection with us from the start. Our wedding had many (and I mean many) ups and downs, requiring our vendors to have so much patience. Sarah maintained her cool through all of it, and when we could finally meet for the big day, she took stunning photos. As if that's not enough, we had to cancel our boudoir a number of times because of COVID, so on the wedding day she captured a few spicy photos before I changed into my dress - I am very, very awkward in front of the camera and she helped me have fun with it.
