Paula is a passionate wedding photographer who has been capturing beautiful moments for over 10 years. She started her own business over 7 years ago. Since then, she has captured numerous couples on their big day. She is always excited about capturing genuine moments, no matter how big or small. With Paula and her photography team by your side, you can capture all of the beauty and magic of your wedding day.
Services Offered Luz Photography by Paula includes engagement sessions with every wedding package she offers. You never have to buy your photos after your wedding because she include all of your digital images (with full printing rights). You can print your photos or she can do it for you. She can provide couples with albums, canvases, metal prints, flush mounts, acrylic prints, and the list really goes on. As well as wedding day coverage, She also offers Boudoir shoots, event coverage such as bridal parties or Jack & Jill parties, and Trash the dress sessions. After your wedding, Paula still has you covered with maternity and newborn sessions all the way to prom and graduation. BEYOND Photographers. The Perfect Photography Team for Our Perfect Day
Paula and her husband Dan were the absolute best photographers we could have asked for on our wedding day. Despite some unforeseen challenges — from sudden rain to what felt like a million people trying to take pictures — they remained incredibly patient, calm, and professional throughout it all, and were able to capture beautiful memories we will cherish forever.
Paula was more than just a photographer; she was truly my right hand the entire day. She made sure I was standing correctly, helped adjust my dress, and even reminded me to eat when everything got hectic. She went far beyond the duties of a photographer, and I’m so grateful for her care and attention.
Dan was incredible as well. As the behind-the-scenes, second photographer, he made sure we were staying on schedule, meeting our timelines, and keeping everything running smoothly. His support ensured we stayed on the agenda and felt calm and organized throughout the day.
The pictures were absolutely stunning, and our album was breathtaking. Paula is extremely reachable, easy to communicate with, and so much fun to work with. Her warm personality made the entire process enjoyable from start to finish.
I can’t recommend Paula and Dan enough. Their talent, kindness, and dedication helped make our wedding day smoother, happier, and completely unforgettable.

Amazing!
Paula and Dan were absolutely amazing! Paula is so easy to get along with and was a blast to work with. She was extremely responsive and organized. Paula kept me, my fiancé and my 1 and 4 year old on track the day of the wedding (which is a miracle!). Our friends and family could not stop talking about how wonderful she was. Paula is incredibly creative and got the most beautiful shots! We will treasure these photos for many many years! I would 100% recommend her!!

Paula and Dan did an excellent job at photographing our wedding, and engagement photos. Paula is responsive and a lot of fun. Some guests told us she was great!

Best Photographer Ever!!!
Paula and her Husband Dan exceeded are expectations and delivered us with photos that we will cherish forever. Our big day meant a lot to us as it was our 12 year dating anniversary and they both went above and beyond to capture every moment they could. From the start she listened to everything that we wanted and made us feel like we have know her forever. The work Paula and Dan do truly is amazing and I would recommend them every time.

Beautiful photos, would recommend
We were so happy going with Paula and Dan for our September wedding. She made it very comfortable for two awkward people getting married. She was adored by the guests and the wedding party. Her photos came out beautifully! I'd recommend Luz photography to any of my friends or family.

Amazing Wedding Experience in Mystic, CT
Paula was great to work with and was a savior for our wedding! We had an issue with our prior photographer and I reached out to her a couple months before our wedding. She moved things around with her personal life to have her and her husband photograph our wedding, which I was very grateful for. During our wedding, she was professional the entire time and was on point with our timeline. She kept a timer on her which allowed us to keep on track with our first look, ceremony, and reception photos. She had great poses lined up for us and made me and our party feel comfortable the whole time. I highly recommend using Paula as a photographer for your next big event! We already reached out to her to capture newborn photos for when our baby comes this year.

Best Photographer and Easy Going!
Paula and her husband Dan shot our 10/13/2023 wedding and they were incredible!
Paula took her time to listen to what we wanted and the must have shots. She asked about what kind of "vibe" we wanted to achieve and she NAILED IT. We wanted to have a relaxed and candid vibe, but also the formal look for our wedding photos. She likes to crack jokes to get that natural smile and she and Dan have this amazing ability to capture the moment.
Paula knows that some people are not comfortable getting there photos taken, she does her very best to get you to relax and just have fun. During our engagement session we were all laughing and walking around the park just taking photos. She took us all over Harkness Park and we got such a wide variety it was hard to pick favorites.
She was very hands on through the whole process, from when we had our first chat to texting us to let us know our album is ready for pick up. She is eager to ensure you have all the best photos of the most exciting day of your life.

Awesome experience
Paula was so amazing to work with. Anytime we had questions she was right there to answer. Luz photography had the best packages for the price. They offered so much within each package that others didn’t. She made our whole experience amazing. She is so down to earth which made taking pictures easy. My fiancé and I had the pleasure of working with Paula and Dan for our 2023 wedding! From the moment we contacted Paula we knew she was the perfect photographer for us! Paula and Dan made us feel comfortable right from the start, when we met them for our engagement shoot! They were very professional knowledgeable about weddings and hilarious! Paula prices are very reasonable and fair! The packages that she offers are very worthwhile! Paula was easy to get a hold of my phone whenever we had any questions! The day of our wedding, Paula was nothing but supportive and helpful-friends and family raved about how awesome Paula and Dan were! Paula is the whole package! She was very helpful as far as coordinating the ceremony, helping us advocate to other vendors, and very accommodating! I cannot recommend Paula enough. She truly made our wedding so much more special!!
